Fashion Lights 01 (Woman Face Light)

The avatars for these are both labeled 01- this first one is the lady with the bun with a light face. The second one she has a dark face.
Lights:
Distant: Specular
Distant: UberEnvironment2, 60% white, Intensity scale 85%, Occlusion with Directional Shadows
Fashion Lights 01 (Woman Face Dark)
Lights:
Point: Fill 60% white
So hold down CNTRL and click on the second one to add it the scene (without removing the light face settings) so you'll have both of these merged together. The third image (very bright) is what you'll get. Easy to turn down the lights, and you'll have a nice fill light. Not sure if that's what your'e supposed to do, but since these are both 01, I put them together.
Next, there was a THIRD 01 Rim Light, which was dark, so the last image is all three of the 01's. This last one created some shadows. The avatar is going to be that same lady, almost totally darkened out. I'll do just the Rim (third 01) for you.

I like that you pointed out the good eyebrows on the Riley figure. this is something I've noticed a lot more now.
. I've also noticed that many 'natural' non makeuped faces, sadly tend to have rouged and shiney lips like they are wearing lipstick. It would be great if there were more natural faces included in the more highly madeup ones... Since these might also be transferrable to younger characters.

It's a good thing that store got put back up on sale, but trust me, it was down awhile. It wasn't just a "let's change this page" flicker thing. I was so mad I was up checking it for at least ten, possibly fifteen minutes.
I just spent $70 on Mada and $55 on Ironman (I've been a good girl and held back the last two weeks except for characters, I do get those when they are 51%) so we're going to have some fun products to review! I've been waiting for all the mermaid series, would recommend if anyone wants those, to hop on it. They have been on my wishlist a long time. They may have been on sale before and I had other things I had to prioritize, but I know those merbabies (ADORABLE) rarely are on sale.
Aoiri looks like a Connie with tweaks- same nose, etc. to me.

I want to point out I was surprised at how much I use Emelie and Edward- I don't do Goth- but that's where I got the cute heart lips for Tamesis- (which doesn't go with the "dark" look, eh?!!!) and I use the clothes all the time. (Remember, you can put your own pattern in too, in the Surfaces tab. Use one of mine if you don't have any.) I also use the morphs with other characters quite frequently.

This seems like a nice set for closeups with glass windows btw. I don’t like the glaring red letters (which can be changed in surfaces) but those glass windows and a revolving door for around $4 is worthwhile to me.

If you have the multiplane cyclorama, you’ll get 2 mats for a forest background to use. I’m not a fan of the flames, but wondering if other flames can be brought in too? Light Presets Reviews By Novica
This list will make it easier for you to quickly find your product and see what lighting results your figure will have from "World Center" (XYZ Translations 0/0/0) These lights were tested on the Base Female UV map, by my V6 character Chiara.
This is not going to be indicative of how a scene will be lit, but this is WONDERFUL for portraits and also for those of us who move the scene so our figures ARE at World Center to take advantage of presets that are lit extremely well at those coordinates. (Yes, move your scene instead of your objects!)
And remember, many of these are Platinum Club items- get great lights for $1.99! As time goes by, I will put the new reviews at the top. Enjoy! :)

Got weird sparklies on the forehead with the DS marked avatar files (the z-DS_1 Shadow) so not pursuing anymore of these. They were like little glowing orbs. I will post for you to see. I don't know what's going on with it. Is it for a different program? There's a cool special effect for ya, lol!

Alternative Lighting
NOT SHOWN. Would not recommend for a scene unless you have a LOT of time. With only one figure, it had taken 22 minutes and was at 14%. It is also ULTRA dark. There are other sets already shown that would be better- see Mood Lights if you want some dark light.
This was mentioned in my thread way back on post 300. You should note it- it is AMAZING and you can't really tell what you get by the promo. I've been waiting on it ever since I showed it to you- and I'm buying it because now it's 50% off. Yippeee! Thought I'd point it out as it has NOT been on sale.
