Hi Guys.
Normally I do my illustrations, painted in the traditional way, with gouache on paper. Or I make a good design, a good scanner, and painting in Photoshop.
In this work order, Editora Saraiva - Brazil - For didactic books, I decided to make the in job 3D illustrations.
Share this adventure with you all. I hope you all enjoy. :)
I'm open and free to every question, critique, and help you to realize all your illustrations.

Thank you my friend! Hexagon But it's all so simple! :)
Here began my problem! I had to have at least nine people, plants and a statue on the scene.
I ran out of time. I only had 3 days to relizar it. And do not Daz Studio not make the Render. With nine people, plants and statue.
Asked Daz3D help.
They responded very quickly, saying that my PC was very weak memory.
I redid everything in Daz Studio 3, and rendering was done in 6000 pixels.
The domus looks really great! How long did it take to make the model to be ready to use?
Thanks, Proxima Shining!!
I did it all in 3 days only. It was my deadline given by the publisher. I worked day and night, it was the least I could do. But it was approved without any correction. :)
More Domus!! :)

Three days only? And looking so cool? Are you sure you are not a wizard or a minor deity?

If you observe the work, there are huge mistakes at all. But as I said, it was the least I could do. :S
Insula - Housing Common Plebe Roman.
Reference sent by the Publisher.
Follows the work in Hexagon and Daz Studio 4. :)
Greek Vases - is very simple model, making UVMapper and texture painting itself Hexagon. Working day of 14 hours.
Reference sent by the Editor.
The Greek vases, made and Hexagon - UVMapper and Textures.
More Greek Vases!!
Medieval System - The Feud - took work. First I discovered that my computer does not support Render, high resolution, and Daz Studio 4, requires a lot of memory, plenty of memory, Microsoft Windows you close, Daz Studio 4, and freezes.
Since I have to produce a rendering of 300 DPI or Pixels for it. There are more than 6000 pixels quality TIF. The only way and make several Renders that seram Multiple layers, and mount it in Photoshop later. The result is very good, but you have to have patience. Or a lot of money to buy a super computer.
This illustration was not approved. 4 days of lost work. But publisher asked another version.

More work in Hexagon and Daz Studio 4.
Beto my friend even if you deny that you are a wizard at what you can do, we lesser mortals that can not do as you do stand in awe of your work. All of this is beautiful to my eyes.
My mounting in Photoshop. As you say Postwork. :)
My dear friend! I just want to prove that Daz Studio, and Hexagon, allies, are powerful tools. And for those who want these tools, not only for fun, but if you want you can make a profession. Earn money to survive. I did nothing fantastic, all in a hurry, the publisher did not give me time, but I did with the time it would take to do in gouache on paper. There were 16 days long and hard work, I earned 8,500 Reais (Brazilian currency), which is a lot of money in Brazil. En something is about U.S. $ 4,250 dólares. I do not know what money is good?? For a worker American. in 16 days, and this, with fun.
'm getting old. I have a responsibility to create new generations of illustrators. I see a lot of talent here with Daz Studio. These talents have to realize that they can make a living and a porfissão, beautiful, fantastic, if they wish, with Daz Studio. :)
Okay, the first illustration of the Feudal system, was refused. I received another referral and get to work.
Now I know that the only way to do Render high resolution is in pieces, layers. So was faster.
I edited, uniting layers in photoshop, and had this illustration. (Postwork)
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ... The author of history text, changed the water mill, to the windmill. Things profession, patience. Always save your Photoshop document. (PSD)
Okay, approved the illustration. 4 days of fun and making lots of money. :)
