Not everyone can or should pursue a career as an illustrator. This requires a lot of study and dedication. It is most often a profession Free-lancer, no job, no fixed salary. But if you call the art, if art does not sling off your body. So fight, fight hard, read, learn, use what you have. In 16 days, some llustrações, won 8,500 real (Brazil's currency) is USD$ 4.500. I do not know what it is worth $ 4500 in the U.S., but in Brazil is a lot of money.

What paid with this money in Brazil?

The rent of a house of 120 square meters. Upper middle class.
Water, electricity, Internet, cable TV, gas and food!

Paid life. And I have left 40% of the amount received.

    Maybe you need a doctor?

    You may need a dentist?

Maybe you need clothes and shoes?

Perhaps only fun if you have this need?

This time this month, none of this is necessary.

I keep in a savings account. The future comes
    needs, and also more work.

DAZ Studio, Hexagon, can make your life, your profession.

    Cheers!

    With Affection.

    Betomelo.

    - Do not forget to fight much like Leonidas at Thermopylae, even if you die, fight until the end. The choice is always yours. Nothing in this world is easy and free! So get ready, and fight! :)

My dear friend! I just want to prove that Daz Studio, and Hexagon, allies, are powerful tools. And for those who want these tools, not only for fun, but if you want you can make a profession. Earn money to survive. I did nothing fantastic, all in a hurry, the publisher did not give me time, but I did with the time it would take to do in gouache on paper. There were 16 days long and hard work, I earned 8,500 Reais (Brazilian currency), which is a lot of money in Brazil. En something is about U.S. $ 4,250 dólares. I do not know what money is good?? For a worker American. in 16 days, and this, with fun.
I do believe you have proven your point very well. $4250 US for 16 days of work would make anyone I know very happy. I will watch this thread and your other threads very close. To me 3D is a hobby to help fill my time. I'm 100% disabled from my health problems but my life is good due to planning ahead during my long carrier in Retail. I'm comfortable was far as money goes, luckily, but I love my 3D hobby. Your work is very inspiring and I will enjoy anything you share here. I'm looking forward to seeing your work and I'm very happy you wish to help others who may wish to do 3D for more than a hobby.

    My friend Jaderail.

The 3D can be a hobby and a great hobby.

Have you worked and today, lives what you deserves for his work. I wish that not ouvesse disease, you do not deserve it.

But 3D can also be a great profession, (as it is today, but it is the future!), And earn money. Life is hard here, and where you live too. There Eden on earth??? Not!!! Nothing is free in this world, everything is a struggle, study, learn, live, experience, is a struggle, especially the courage to face the big gate. And you be able to open it!

I have no intention of changing anyone's head, but only say that with Dazstudio, Hexagon, 3D content, and talent, a hobby, a profession can be very beautiful. As these artists can apply your talent with these tools? Where they want, the market is large, very large. If I were younger, with the disposition of the past, would explore everything.

If you wish to, I'll share pictures of advertising pieces, made by a Brazilian 3D Studio? They are fantastic.

If you want ompartilho here. It has everything to do with the matter suggested by me.

    An awakening, 3D! :)

    Very impressive work, Roberto!

As others have stated, to do so in this short of a time is nothing short of amazing.

You should be proud of your accomplishment. I (and I would hope others) find inspiration in your efforts to complete the job by whatever means necessary.

I will hope to see much more from you in the future.

    Thank BlackFeather1973.

I think the market is vast. Today a global market, for all who dare, try to get your place in the sun. I can not guarantee that you or anyone else will succeed. Even I with more than 25 years as an illustrator I spend my difficulties.

Wanted more time for something really quality. But all publishers want illustrations for yesterday. At least here in Brazil.

    A big hug. :)

Some examples, are many simple, for textbooks of high school science. It was one of my first jobs I did in 3D. The publishers do not know what it was 3D art. But I managed to put the 3D, of Daz3D, books and schools in Brazil. Moreover, it is highly praised when I do 3D.

As far as I understand it, the rule is that a nipple on the woman´s breast is not allowed to be visible. That is apparently a big no-no in America. You can post a picture of the Genesis figure without any clothing, but only if that is the base grey model without skin applied. Even if that figure had breasts as big as saucers, it is still allowed, because it does not look human. :) You can also post a picture of bloodshed, bodyparts scattered everywhere, no problem. But no nipple. :-P And panties required. Only modest figures in underwear are allowed. That´s just how the rules are, because this is a family-friendly forum.

I must confess I like those animals very much. Especially the frog, is so cute. And that saber-toothed tiger, reminds me of old books I have read as a child, which had similar realistic pictures of extinct animals, and I admired the author very much back then. And the snake looks so menacing...

It is a simple technique that creates a displacement effect,
    Bump, and it looks 3D.
