    CREW 2014
This year the goal is to produce the Lonely (Sea) Wolf chapter. Here is a preview of Frithiof and the Ellida´s crew.

Very nice. I played quarterback in junior high for a team that won the league, mostly because we had some big linemen that had been held back a year or two. So then we played an allstar team with the big guys from all the other teams. Their defense looked like that picture, at least to me, a skinny quarterback.

    :bug:

Ha! Good memories. Maybe it's the aged effect of the picture.
    Thanks for posting!

Maybe. Also, there are eleven people in the picture, the same as a football defense. Plus I'm pretty sure they hit me with some of those hammers. (Background: Our team wore white helmets, all the other teams had helmets of different colors. It was a point of pride to our linemen to have paint smears on their white helmets to show how they had collided with the opponents. At the start of the allstar game, my helmet was perfectly white, a quarterback with good protection, some speed, and a huge self-preservation instinct. At the end of that allstar game, I had every color in the league on my helmet and had decided to concentrate on basketball.)

    :shut:

Haha, I also made the eleven players because this is the year of the (Soccer) World Cup.You made a goal!

I was about to reply that soccer, a non-contact sport, would have been a better choice for me, a skinny kid, but then I remembered this.

Looking good. I live in Houston, home of the NFL Texans. After being considered a Super Bowl contender in the pre-season, they ended up 2-14 and rated dead last in the Power Rankings. Their opponents looked like your Trolls and Ork-Elfs, while the Texas looked more like Kobolds.

INTO THE LIGHT... This is Ljosalfheim, the land of the lightelves. ...

Here in Houston, there is a Shakespeare Festival every summer at the large outdoor Miller theater. They do two plays a half dozen times each, usually a comedy and a tragedy. A few years back they did a great version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The actor who played Puck was particularly memorable, dancing all over the stage with seemingly no effort. Your image reminds me of that performance and the magical world they created on stage. (The picture below is from a different production, but pretty close.)

    Hi, Steve K,
I read the play and saw the movie. Maybe something of Shakespeare influenced me...

What shaders are you liking for that? And do they have them in gold?

    Thanks

If I understand the question correctly ... the picture is not a 3D render, but an actual sculpture. More here:

I agree, very nice. The music really works well, and it looks like you got the ship animated in the waves ... :wow:
