    I have it set to load a default scene including a camera, well three.

    If I disable the loading default scene, so no camera, or anything else there, should it work?

    If so, well it still hangs as previously.

Idoes not follow ground (which I looked at, but that in combination with complex tiling was just way to complicated to get working fast enough and robust enough)

    But you can easily say make me a 6 feet x 54 feet paving ( if the base size is 3 feet, thats a 2 x 18 paving)

    Thanks for the answer, it's nice to know what are the actual capabilities of the product before making a decision (I will definitely pick it up at a later date, because results look just that good, but I am on a bit of a tight leash at the moment).

    Thanks, I try to be honest with what my products capabilities, and thanks for the kind words. I know at least one PA has been asking about making props and paving sets and designs directly usable from Auto Paver, hopefully more will come. The foundation is in place, now imagination sets the limit.

    You still got the error? Did you get 1.0.1?
    I just tested the downloaded version and it is 1.0.1 and I no longer get the hang due to a deleted camera.
    If you add an empty group, do you have the problem?

    Ditto - same thing..

    Start DS (it creates Default Camera automatically).

    Create Primitive (Plane: 10m with 128 Divisions)

    Select Plane, go to Surfaces, selct Material zone

    Select Auto Paver,dse - AP Cobbles, Pavement repetitions X and Y set to 3., click Lay pavement ...

    7 or so minutes later, DS is still 'Not Responding'  The Script dialog box still says Version 1.0 for me, despite having installed the updated versiosn via DIM, I am guessing that is not right?

    The update only was only for Paving Set Builder (which dont create a group), and I havent reproduced any issues with Auto Paver. 
    Sounds like two differnet issues, and Simons one is ever weirder. Do you have a log Simon? 

    And Which DS version are you running Simon?

    Latest (4.10.0.123) 64-build, running under WIn 7 Pro.  Program, and content, installed using DIM. Program goes to default location, content goes to a directory on my D: drive.

    Log file doesn't seem to give much from what I can see, but the period in time shows:

    That is really weird as that one I cannot force. I'll make a build that logs heavily and send to you if it's, OK, I have no clue what the issue is but I guess I'll find out, might be something silly, like a setting in DS that makes things happen in strange ways.

    We're working on it but I still cannot reproduce it but we're getting closer, Simon is running log versions so I get to see exactly was does and does not happen.

    @nicstt: Which Windows version are you using? I'm beginning to think it's related to that.

    yes, that was we just found, I get "no such file error" when loading the selected prop, which was a great lead, working on it right now to see why.

    Good news indeed, the issue has finally been solved with help from both users (that has been invaluable in testting this) and the DS team. A final update is in the works after some final testings that will be made.

    Thank you for your work in quickly and resolutely tracking this down for a thurough stomping - bugs deserve it wink.

    Hi I just got this set and I  upgraded to

    D|S 4.10 and after a few problems it has installed. I am now able to open the scripts. My problem is that I do not see any paving sets in the auto paver interface where you show the built in sets populating the window on the left. its just empty and of course I have not yet made any sets so none of the radio buttion settings shows me any sets. I did a finder search and they seem to be in the folder. for example I found ap cobbleset.appset and many other sets in this directory

     

    E:\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Daz Connect Library\data\cloud\1_50571\scripts\code 66\auto paver\paving_sets

    any ideas?

     

    it looks very cool and I can't wait to build using my own textures

    Cloud installed, hmm, try installing via DIM as I do not know if it does work via cloud and it's impossible to test or debug but I guess it won't work as the description files might be encrypted as well,
