OK right, I am checking it out!

    thanks

ok so I did install via the dim and now the files show up in products but when I click on them I get the error "file does not exist"

I imagine I dont have the installer pointing at the right folder, but all I can find to point at is the data folder not a content folder. I admit to being a bit lost with these two installing systems.... that is why I had been trying to only do the cloud.

If you navigate in Content Browser (not smart contet), to DAZ Content/Scripts/Code 66/Auto Paver and run the script from there does it work then?
Smart content doesn't give the script any information about from where it was started.

the short answer is I do not seem to have a Daz content folder. the longer answer is I was running out of space in my internal laptop drive and so uninstalled my content from there via the dim then I used the cloud to install everything to a connected external drive. So I can't seem to find a content folder besides the one for my poser 9 content and there is no script folder there. I installed Daz itself via the dim. I am willing to modify my configuration within reason if we can figure what would work as I would really like to use your scripts...

    thanks for your patience;.0

ok I will check back in a few hours

I've managed to get Streets of London streets to behave in Iray, but it takes a lot of annoying fussing with it.

@Oso3d I happen to be working with this set at the moment, no to derail the thread, but what did you do to get it to work properly?

I hunted around for bump maps (I think not all of them are applied or something) and did displacement. Not ideal, mind you.

I don't remember if it has Normal maps, but that's something else to try. It's tricky, since there are patches of the road that are different from the main part of the road and you have to futz with it to get the displacements not to separate.

Ok I have begun to untangle the mess of my computer hard drives. I got this script working on my mac and its frikkin awsome! I see so much potential to use it with my own textures. So I plan on posting  some of the images once I figure how to do that.

Does anyone know of a script that can take a folder of images and apply them to tiles that could be used in auto paver? That would be so cool...

Now I just gotta get it working on my laptop...

    Excellent product!

That sounds like a good scritping idea, I have thought of this for my own development so I have some ideas already in my mind. Could work for both Iray and 3DL, just applying different textures and saving out Mat files named like <your entered name>_<#counter> (MyMat_01), (MyMat_02)
Setting the basic ones, if exists:
Iray: Metallic, BaseColor, Roughness, Normal and maybe optional for Height and Trans
3DL: Diffuse, Normal and optional Displacement & Trans

All based i a really setup Material so it only replaces the maps, hmm. Let's get cracking ;-)
