Interesting moment there, it's like Bren is asking mr. Bytes what mishief they should be up to next, or perhaps going over the plans for the next job or such :)

also, what is the outfit you use for him? *Curious*

@Carola O, The outfit is a mismash.. dForce Grunge boots and pants, Dark Whisper for G3M vest, the gloves are from the Rock Accessories package.I also used tme Modern Steel Jewelry for M3.

@Wanderer, Thanks. I really like working with this model.

@TheMidget, There was a walking pose that was a bit off kilter, just fixed the lean and the head. I was pretty surprised at how easy it was to fix. These two have a special connection.

Thanks,  I guessed it might be a kitbashed outfit, but had to ask :) you have made a really fitting outfit for him from those :)

It was not easy to get his outfit. I tried a lot of different things. This felt the most natural for him. Then there were the colors. LOL .. Mostly black but the boots had to be red.

Another look at Bren and Mr. Bytes in a less dramatic moment:

    Taking a Walk

This actually looks like they are talking to each other.  Great use of body language on both of them.  I know the bots can be difficult to pose.

  • ArtsyDragonArtsyDragon Posts: 682

You got that right, @IceDragonArt, I figure the little guy talks in small bursts of chirps and bark sounds, sort of like RD2D but more canine sounding. And of course his creator can understand that language. :)

Got to echo everyone else, this picture's looking really good and does look like the dog is being asked something or answered.

  • ArtsyDragonArtsyDragon Posts: 682

Thank you for that, @Noswen. I am really trying to take my time and get the little bits more developed and make things look better.

Again, something I'm working on for the graphic novel. It's science fiction (my favorite genre) and there is a military type organization that employes all species. It's easy to default to human for the characters but I had an idea and ran with it. Thank you to RawArt for the great characters. Thank you to Herschel Hoffmeyer for the clothing (Tactical Gear). I found a use for that female vest. I like it on the Orc.

I'm still working on the lighting and a couple of tweaks in the poses.

I'd love to know what sort of caption you envision these two saying one to another.

HAHAH I nearly spit coffee over my keyboard when reading your comment Ceo, it do sound like a fitting caption

And Illy, it's a great picture, makes me curious about the story :)

"And down the hall to the left, is the Commanders office. ALWAYS remember to knock.. you really don't need to see him with his plushie"

LOL! @ItsCEO and @Carola O, you are both awesome! Thanks!

A new one rendered overnight and I found a bunch of little things to fix. A new one this evening perhaps.

"What do you mean that's a female?"  Ya ya, it really is!  "wow, she could totally kick your (insert whatever adjective you please here)"  Ya, aint it great?!"

  • WandererWanderer Posts: 957

@illysArt - You have a way with characters. These two are great. Funny, funny comments from the others. How about:

"And that right over there is my favorite off duty spot."

"Is it a kill and grill?"

    "A what?"

"You know, a place that serves drinks, dinner, and death sports."

"No, nothing like that. It's rather a lovely spa. Rugged looks this good don't just happen. They specialize in claws and fangs. You might try having a go yourself."

    "You don't say."

    "I do."

Looking forward to your next one.

This is a piece being used at work as part of a bigger project.. After looking at a lot of male figures, @DarwinsMishap's Liam for Edward 8 seemed the best to portray the energy I needed.

Very nice render of Liam. He's one of my favorites.

    Wow-that's awsome, Illys!

I really like how you've gotten Bren into the sci-fi theme as well.  Well done.

Thank you @StormyNight and @DarwinsMishap! Both men are great to work with and I tend to sit and play with them a lot! More than ever gets posted.

This is something a little different.. still scifi but not as obviously scifi as Bren.

    Where are the servers

You're very welcome, and that's a nice render!

I mixed and matched her clothes. The girl has on chaps and sci-fi boots together with a ships captain coat. It just seemed to work for her.

  • Carola OCarola O Posts: 3,823

It does fit her :) and I do love the Liam render!

I'm a sucker for long flowing coats and such.  I think she looks great!

    Thank you both!

Custom character for a friend.. Started with Zander, added so many morphs and such, I couldn't even begin the catalog the details.

I think Zander is one of Solo's and Lando's friends that has yet to be revealed.  I bet he is secretly a prince of a minor planet.  As for the lady on level D, I'm with IceDragonArt, give me a duster, a cape or some sort of flowing coat and I get real interested, real fast!  The guy with the green background?  For some reason when I first saw him I thot of young Brando... which is weird because I am not a moviephile or black & white movie watcher.  I think of him as being a villian because I most often associate green with villians.

    Great works!

I showed my friend and then offered a different hair style (slightly different) and the new hair seemed to fit better. It's amazing to me how much hair alone changes the look. Here's a peek.

@illysArt - I agree. Facial hair changes also surprise me sometimes. These latest ones, since the last time I commented here, are great. I really like the Liam one, but each has its own quiet strengths. Please consider doing something for the new user challenge. Look at the work Seegsons has submitted if you're really concerned about a lack of action. His work is fantastic and very subtle. Keep going, and please keep sharing!

That's really interesting he looks really different.  I like it.

Thanks! I've been out of town for work. I'll see what hits me in the next day or so before the next trip starts.
