Is that X-Wing ripped from the game?
Yes, same with the Awing. I bought the game with high hopes, but I really need to upgrade my PC to take full advantage of it.
Just wanted to say that I think this is a fantastic image. Reminds me of why I like cheering for the bad guys. :D
That looks great
Very nice
Very impressive

Vanishing Point (vanishingpoint.biz/freestuff.asp) has a lot of freebie starwars models too.
Workin' on an antagonist... :p To be released as a freebie requiring nothing beyond Genesis 1 base figure.
Caption: “My name is NOT Kyle!!!!” Genesis 1 base figure. Head morphs from Die Trying’s 182 for V4, ported to Gen1 by SickleYield, as well as my G3F Morphalynn set, ported to Gen1 by me. Body morphs from Daz’ Genesis Evolution, as well as adam001’s Gen1 Proportions. AprilYSH’s G2F Micah Hair, DeviousDolls’ Gen1 Oddwear for shirt and pants, SickleYield’s Gen1 Free Fingerless Gloves, Ravenhair’s Gen1 Boots for Genesis [not shown], Morris’ M4 Beck texture, pose from MattyManx’ M5 Photographic crossed with KatFeete’s Gen1 Body Talk Arms, expression from G2F base, ported over with Dimension3D’s GenX2. Stupendous background by me.

Not real happy with this one since the Rey model is pretty low poly and even with a strong normal map and subdivison it doesn't look all that great, but what the heck!
Grrrr not getting notifications again
Hey everyone I am trying to find a Darth Talon saber hilt prop for a render. Can anyone point me in the right direction for one if there is one even out there somewhere please?
Do the morphs work in DAZ Studio?
I got an updated version here: http://www.radiantcg.com/lekku
But the morphs and bones don't work in Studio. The head tails just stick out in the air and aren't pose able. Bummer, because with auto-fit it seemed to fit perfectly on Victoria 7. It works in Poser.
Lots of cool stuff in this thread!
They do work, if you don't fit them to your figure, just parent them to the head and move them into place
The Community Lekku Project V3/V4 Lekku from radiantcg.com isn't working for you in Studio? That's odd, I use Carrara 8.5 Pro, and I've set up a Twi'lek figure using it, and they pose just fine. Here's a couple of test renders of my WIP Twi'lek on a plain gray background (and if you look close, this is actually Genesis 1 Female with the V4 Shapes and the Jenna-Louise Coleman (of Dr. Who fame) morph loaded.
Studio is not Carrara, there are many things Carrara can do, that Studio can not.
Auto-fit, will remove the extra bones (in fact all of the bones) and replace them with the target figure Bone structure. Pony tails lose bones for the same reason.
Yes, I know Carrara and Studio are different beasts I have both programs, and I first tried Poser back before I switched to DS 2.x, but both Carrara and Studio will open any Poser-oriented content, so if a product works fine in Poser like scott762_948aec318a said, then it should also work in both Studio and Carrara while retaining posability. At the least, it does for me as you can see in the renders above (for me, the Lekku loaded draped over her shoulders, hanging in front of her torso, I reposed them to hang behind her back).
"retaining posability" is the Iffy part, lol. Loaded into an empty scene, it may be fine. Tho if a figure is selected in the scene tab when it is loaded, and that figure is not the generation it was made for, Auto-fit kicks in. Auto-fit will rip out the entire Skelton of the item and replace it with one matching the target figure without any extra bones. So stuff near the neck will end up on the neck bones (and so on down the back). "retaining posability" depends on just how critical the removed extra bones were for the particular item. I'm guessing the 'Auto-fit' in Carrara is a tad bit more intelligent then that when matching up bone rotations and such between generations.
Toon Resistance (helmet from TurboSquid)
OK, in the middle of a render now but I will have to give that a shot later.
Dang, now I'm still waiting for a Genration X3 to convert all my favorite V4 figures to Genesis 3 (I jumped straight from V4).
Is that a Custom Outfit? Cause it's REALLY awsome and I want it!! :P
I'll quote that as that was one of the ones I just looked at. There was a question raised in another thread by 'kettu', regarding how many BB8 meshes are there. I fumbled across four in rather short order, and they are unique shapes, not just the maps. Equally as important to many, is what program will the model work with vs how much trouble to get it there (some of us don't have Poser, and don't know how to make Blender work).
The one above and another from inLight is specified to work in Daz Studio.

There are two others that my be more difficult. One from Vanishing Point that may just need the maps put back into the proper spots in the surface tab. Also this one and the former two are labeled to work in Poser. Thank you shadowhawk1 for the link.

Then there is a Blend Swap thing. That one may be a tad more difficult to get into Studio or Poser, depending on what files are included with that one. Me and Blender don't exactly get along, so your on your own there.

So that is four of them, that are free.
