I made this late last year and thought I had posted it here, but I don't see it on a quick skim through the thread (sorry if it is here somewhere and I'm double posting it).

    "Mouse Droid"

Modeled and rendered in Carrara 8.5, postwork in Photoshop.

  • So, after performing a forum search for a Star Wars thread, I found just about zip. I definitely remember there being one, but it must have been lost in hyperspace. So here's my reboot: "The Render Awakens", the thread for all Star Wars renders. Bring me your BB-8's, Bucketheads, rebel scum and scandalous Twi'leks!

I bring the might of the Empire

Here's the thread you were probably looking for ;)

  • That is indeed the the thread I was looking for. The search engine must be playing mind tricks.

Merged the new (Hope) thread with the old (Republic).

What does Vader do on his day off.

Now I'm wanting to hear James Earl Jones belting off Taylor Swift...

    "Hey, hey, hey
Just think while you've been getting down and out about the rebels and the dirty, dirty cheats of the world,
You could've been getting down to this sick beat."

That is a great pic though. :)

Oh God NO!!! That would jsut be something you could never unhear! It might cause a harmonic fluctuation in the support beans of the Deathstar and cause a catastrophic implosion.

LMAO!! great image, love the head on the bass drum "Empire" LOL.

Love the trooper with the cell phone, only thing missing is Jar Jar banging his head at the stage!

I see karaoke night on the deathstar with Vader singing "Bon Jovi, wanted, dead or alive", LOL

"these are not the instruments we are looking for, move along"

It's a bit early, but since I don't get off work until late...

May the 4th be with you!

Despite Hux's objections, Kylo Ren goes ahead with a clone trooper testing round with some interesting results.

Threw this together real quick for May the 4th. :)

Nice, but I can't wrap my head around how the new troopers look like something out of ducktales. Maybe Disney's taking the Mickey!

Thanks for the comments guys. I think any of Barry White's would be ok for Vader ;)

They are all wearing the Captain Phasma helmet, not an actual First Order Stormtrooper helmet. That is what gives them the more duck look.

Where did you get that cool chicken walker? And the shaders?

LOL, the AT-ST is from the SW battlefront game that just came out. The textures come with it. yet I changed them to a metal shader in reality for Luxrender.

sigh.. another reason to up to a ps4 and learn to lift models.. d@amnit.

I still gotta finish building my fairytale castle

Hi Ikyoto, there is a Millenium Falcon and an AT-ST on the vanishing point website - http://www.vanishingpoint.biz/freestuff.asp?StartNo=311&ClassificationID=1

    you are cool

  • Been playing in a Star Wars tabletop game and I love it so much I had to make arts.

    My Jedi Consular, Talesa:

My friend's Nautolan Scoundrel (totally a space pirate...ahem. I mean, Acquisitions Expert) Vezs Mawthri:

My other friend's Zeltron former slave turned Hutt bodyguard, Rashyn:

And my NPC love interest, the darksider who's totally trying to corrupt my impressionable Jedi, Razahl:

An impressive set of characters Hanabi

  • Thanks!

Working on yet another one, although this one is going to be long in coming. I need to get some pieces for him (namely, a snake body!). This is the start on the Hutt that we "kidnapped" recently in the game.

Ok.. not sure where to ask about this. Does anybody know if there's any M4 through G3M morphs out there that might work for a Cerean? I'm starting a new Cerean Jedi in a virtual tabletop game this weekend, and creating the character inspired me to do a render... but I can't seem to find anything.
