Another Vue render. I feel I am finally getting to understand and learnt not to listen to others about lighting but instead test things myself.

I was going through DIM the other day and came across a Vue formatted props from Stonemason and decided to test one out.

Well, I realized after I posted, that the Unicycle Bob does not in fact fly, though it looks so zippy it should be able to in my opinion. It does look like a little one-man spaceship.

Ok latest Vue render called Wandering Brian referring to http://itiseyemeeszark.deviantart.com/art/Brian-377346493

Rendered in Vue with the Tropical Cave www.http://www.daz3d.com/tropical-cave by Andrey Pestryakov and Genesis with Garibaldi hair which didn't export very well. Could be down to me using the wrong export info...something I need to play with.

Yes I exported in OBJ format and had to set up the highlights and Bump but with OBJ import I have never had an issue with high reflections but yes everything needs adjusting and I mean everything. :)

I have been working on this scene since I get my new PC.

Wow! This is a very impressive project, drew me in instantly, really love it, you have a real knack for capturing nature along with your very unique and creative characters. Its one thing to capture a character, or an environment... its something really special to piece the two together and have them compliment each other equally :) Ive been quietly working on some projects combining the two rather than focusing on one (Which is typically what I do, focus on one), and its a fragile thing to get 'just right' together. Keep it up mate, looking great :)

Thanks Spyro. It was Laticis that suggested I put Brian (kneeling one) in a better environment. So many months later I did. :) I love nature and Vue really speaks to me so much.

As for putting the two together well I hate doing plain portraits (no disrespect to ones who do) but for me it holds no interest. If I do I want to do it differently..

I think plain portraits get too plain sometimes. For me, adding some wild variables like water makes things interesting. Hmmm, that reminds me of deviney's brushes. Love this set particularly: http://www.daz3d.com/rons-hydro-explosion Makes oridinary into extraordinary when done right.

Very nice, makes me want a cooler of cold soda's and my cane pole with a soup can of red worms. Plop down and hope I do not get a single bite until the sunset runs me off to home.

Hi Pete, thanx for providing tons of helpful info. I read how your ideas are created, fascinating mind you have friend ;-) I'm beginning to understand where I falter in my graphics, actually a few techniques, but I'm getting there :-) Composition ! is one. I read through composition tutorial, my renders have no composition. All my renders are out of wack, Lol !! Awesome ! something to learn over the weekend. Very interesting how the eyes percieves art. I'm going broke, purchasing ink to print up info, Lol !!!!

How do i create the grid overlay or guidelines using Daz ? I see software for Bryce, but not Daz.
    Thanx
