I’m not sure I like his personally written songs but I would pay big bucks for more genderbent oldies sung by him.... =-)

This is dforce sweater vest outfit. It requires Dforce to use, otherwise it looks kind of... Puffy.

I confess this one doesn't suit Owen too well.

I tthink the no-no is a patterned shirt underneath a solid sweater. That type of sweater does look out of place without one of the traditional patterns.

    Welcome home.

The dog was originally on the floor, but given Boyd's height the image was quite stretched so he would be visable. So I made Owen carry him.  I like mutts so I tried to make him more like a terrier than the large dog he was originally.

I agree the sweater needs a pattern. This was the expansion and they all are pretty much solid colored textures

A friend convinced me to buy this https://www.daz3d.com/market-stall-and-props

i admit I think it is super cute...even if I can’t for the life of me figure out what to do with it. Maybe the boys will have to do some canning,

Those jars are so gorgeous, they'll add color and warmthto the guys kitchen...and they might find interesting things to do with honey...

Here's the new ShoShuara outfit for G8M. It loads as one piece, with no morphs except Expandall. I like the look of it, but it needs a groin morph. Its a bit.... barbie zone down in the crotch, which believe it or not, is the first thing I noticed. laugh I dialed in maximum bulge on boyd and barely made any dent in the smoothness.

Someone asked me if I had rendered the new SP Hair 004 Yet. I had not at the time. Here are the boys wearing the same exact hairstyle. And, as a rare treat, Owen has recently shaved too!

As far as whether I like it goes, yes, I do indeed like it, however, it has a distinct lack of shaping options, beyond some corrective morphs. So what you see is what you get.  I do like it's softness, and think this would be a nice hair for say a pro bundle. It is  a very nice basic, but I want more shaping morphs. A hair height morph would've been.... A godsend.

  • He looks so young!!!!! laugh More shaping options for that hair would be great though. But Owen looks so young! He's adorable.

Yeah, he does look young. He's got a babyface. He's close to a year younger than boyd Chronologically though. Unfortunately, he has to shave twice a day, to remain clean shaven- and carries a medical exemption chit, he still shaves as much as he can, because he prefers a cleancut, cleanshaven appearence.

A very cool friend made this morph for G8M. =-)

At last I have a use for those pregnacy poses.  I made for G3F, and Those ones from Zeddicus I bought.

No, Owen and Boyd don't have a pregnacy in the future....

Character is the new Guy Hanler. He has nice baked in beard options.

I'm actually surprised no one has made an MPREG package for G8M yet. It seems a popular illustrative theme.

I have to second that. Owen definitely has the baby face thing going on.

I do like the looks of that new hair. Might have to pick it up and see if I can add some windblown morphs and maybe something to drape a few of the strands across the forehead.

Owen gets his babyface from grandad.

That's convenient because Grandad Silas is a skinny version of Owen, with age morphs applied. winkThe excess hair is either from some other branch of the family tree or from his mystery father.

Grandad eventually gets a new younger body, and looks entirely different when the government determines grandad needs to work for them.

On the topic of women's clothing suitable for men, these underwear kinda work, Here is: A-Sym Sporty Lingerie. You'll need to use fit control to get the shorts to not cling or distort. The waistband took the most time. It is easy for it to get distorted over the stomach muscles.

That would be awesome. I'd love a morph to raise the crown of the hair.a That would help make the hair look kind of different.

The more I look at this, the more Owen looks like a schoolboy with that haircut and sweater/shirt.

LOL He does look a bit Mr. Rogers-like. See, this is what I mean. Owen has trouble changing his look.  Here you go, order has been restored....Owen now has his regular hair, and stubble and a different outfit.

Serene not to be critical but Owen's grip on the bottle looks off to me ......

Yikes, yeah, its a little off. I shall redo that.

It might have to be a morph thrown in as an extra for something else. It doesn't seem like something that would intrinsically be a strong seller

Although there must have been some way to do that back in G2. (Never you mind why I would happen to know that.) Might work to simply do a morph transfer from female to male.

I’m not sure how popular an mpreg morph might be, I suspect it would be something people might buy and not admit to. winkIt was a popular device in sims though and seems to have a following on deviant.

Also a nice image, but don't get me wrong, I didn't say I didn't like Schoolboy Owen. :)

Owen's one of those people where the clothing and hair make the man apparently! wink

Heads up, lately I've been experiencing some strange cross eyed behavior with Owen and Boyd's left eye. I thought it was a character morph but was having trouble figuring out which one. Now I believe it is Auto Shape Enhancer shoulder enhancer. If you have this product, can you test it out with Bold Pose number 20?

    1. For example, load Base male.

    2. Make sure shoulder enhancer is on.

    2. Load Bold pose number 20 https://www.daz3d.com/bold-poses-and-expressions-for-nix-8-and-genesis-8-male

    3. Left eye goes out of alignment.

It doesn't happen with all poses, so its tough to trace why this is happening. On some poses it doesn't go too far to the left, so its hardly noticble... Others it goes way left so it very much is. I am wondering if it has to do with how the pose is saved conflicting with the enhancer.

  • I don't have the auto enhancer, but if you're feeling brave, I can show you how to trace the errant connection :D  Fair warning: it can be straight forward or very, very tedious :D

I'd like to know, but only if it isn't too much trouble. I know you have plenty of lovely art to do... And this is low priority. I already uninstalled this, so that I can use the boys without the wall eye thing happening.

Nerdy as it is, bug tracing is one of my passions XD

    1. When a joint goes out of whack like that, with the out of whack on, select the joint that's affected (in this case the eye).
    2. Right click on the parameters tab and make sure Show Hidden is on, then click on Currently used. In the eye's case, it looks like it'll be the Side-Side dial.
    3. Here is the possibily tedious (and possibly dangerous) part. Right click on the morph and go into Edit Mode.
    4. Then right click and go to Show in Property Hierarchy (if you don't have this tab out, you'll need to add it). It will highlight the joint rotation and you can expand that.
    5. Subcomponents are things that it controls, so these won't be what you need. Expand the Controllers.
    6. Stage 1 controllers are things that will always dial the rotation when they are dialed. In a basic Genesis setup on the eye, there's going to be a control for EyesSideSide and EyesCrossed. This is the most likely place for the type of error you're having to be. Most likely when the pose was ERC frozen, there was an errant side eye on and it was missed.
    7. Stage 2 controllers that will prevent something from getting dialed. If you get characters with JCMs, the base JCM will go on the joint, then the character's morph will go in this section. This is not as likely a place for an error (other than a missing character morph sometimes) unless you aren't getting a dial that you should.

If all goes well and it's a more typical situation, the errant controller will be in Stage 1.  You can right click it and Remove Selected then save your modification. You might need to save the controller or the joint rotation. It depends on where the control was saved to. You can check this by opening it further and looking at Attributes. There's a part that saves Save With and that will tell you if it's the joint itself or the controller that holds the link.

I hope that made sense. I tried to follow along as I was talking it through but I always forget something XD
