That Babyfication works surprisingly good. I think better than the Cartoonification even.

It does! there is a slight sameness to the faces, but it does use baby Tobyn. It mixes well with other childrens options like growing up and Angel Wing's characters too.

Owen and Boyd share an icecream. The icecream was by exem over at rendo. I just stacked them up to get a super big one and hid the cone. I'd love such props sold here though.  I love food props.

It reminds me of this Jumbo 12 scoop ice cream cone I saw advertised recently. The $ are New Zealand $, equivalent to about $9.62 US. Quite a bargain, if you can eat that much. They were big scoops, too, but I got only 1 scoop.

Those ice creams look amazing. I hope we see some variety with ice cream in the future. Maybe Zeddicus will make some poses and props.

I think I have the skin right this time blush I have also attached the skin for the fins too. I have tested them on my system but I had tested the old skin too so let me know if it works, or just tweak it yourself until it does laugh

LOL, careful, I've gotten in big trouble from mothers for saying all babies look alike. laugh

Owen and Boyd have some help cleaning up the kitchen in the form of Bitsy, Owen's dog.

This is a revision from the one in the gallery. Owen's right arm was twisted too much in that one.

Is that an old coal cook stove? I've not seen one since my Granny sold hers after getting a modern one. I've never seen one except in black cast iron though.

Owen likes vintage stuff, so they have a fake vintage stove. I am sure it is modern under the hood.

Wow, didn't know they made fake modern ones. The old ones were very flat on top too like glasstop stoves but of cast iron instead.

They have lots of vintage looking appliances now. I really love the vintage looking refrigerators. If I were rich I’d own one. The stove might be a bit much, but they have different ones that look more 50’s my granny had a wall oven and I loved hers.

I am not sure what is happening, but lately my iray scenes, have looked okay in preview, looked fine when they start rendering, (in this case, properly lit)  and then slowly a big shadow appears in the scene over the top half rendering it dark. Its very strange It looks like this. It is like halfway through the videocard chokes, and does this.

I have a new gaming machine with a GTX 2080 Super. It has 8 gigs of ram. My computer has 32 gigs. It should be able to render this simple scene.... But  it cannot. Very odd. IT is like it runs out of memory.

I can run scene optimizer, and have it render fine though.

So seems like memory has become an issue with this new version of IRAY.

I CPU render and now on my new PC with 32GB RAM can't render on DAZ Studio 4.12.1.55 a scene using the Tangy Apple Orchard product that I could render in the DAZ Studio version that was current in January 2018 (whatever that was - I think 4.11.0.#) on a laptop that also CPU rendered with only 16GB RAM. I did have to set scene optimization for rending to "memory" though.

I've had the same issue, but infrequently and really randomly. There's no telling what seems to set it off. When I put an extra light into the scene, it seems to fix itself ... but then the scene gets a bit blown out. Haven't remembered to test to see what happens with a really low level light.

If I run scene optimizer on the scene I can render the scene. It appears to be a result of a memory issue... but I have rendered the same characters hundreds of times so clearly something has changed with software or coding that is causing the issue

Same here. I was expecting with 32GB RAM doubled from 16GB RAM CPU rendering my days of running out of RAM were over. Instead I can't even render scenes & products I had rendered long ago.

Sweet! Glad to see you finally got it working. Love all the little details, like doggo going after the spilled popcorn. Surely he can't eat it, can he?

Kinda. Doggo was designed by grandfather as a companion animal for Owen as a child.  Her stomach has a reserve supply of nannites which must be fed, and so Doggo must eat sugary drinks to keep them alive. Doggo prefers to drink flat soda, starbucks, and milk shakes. The nannites over time, evolve their own food preferences and those are what doggo craves as generations age and die.. It has been known to steal a french fry potato chip, or other thing as well. Anything carb-like. If the nannites need a nutrient, doggo wants it, and it eats it. The nannites keep doggo maintained, and in return she feeds them, whent they are hungry. The nannites also use nutrients to rebuild things like hair, skin, and such that need reknewing on Bitty from time to time, so she eats things that help make those things happen.

Anything not consumed will be hairballed up at an inconvenient time, just like a real dog. Excess liquid comes out the usual way.  Doggo's plugging mechanism is concealed behind her tail, so that is the extent of its realism.

Grandad has made several life-like companion dogs and Bitty is one of them. Bitty loves Owen, and was created as a companion animal for him long ago. Unfortunately, one of the men his mom dated, tried to hurt Owen, and Bitty intervened, and was hit instead becoming irrepairably damaged. Owen was traumatized, but Grandad did not give up, and eventually succeeded in repairing Bity. He gives her to Boyd to give to Owen at some point, which... Owen is shocked and pleased by.

so to answer, Bitty is playing with the food and may eat one or two pieces of popcorn for realism sake But is more likely to chase it around, pretending to eat. Bitty is michevious and is not one to be complacent.

On the subject of male releases we have Yuji for Genesis 8 Males by Sithlordsims. I like his slim build and body type. He has an Anime style face, and a very smooth, useful looking skin. The only thing that bothered me were the v-shaped muscle grouping in his back caused by prominent normals. You can replace those if they are bothersome to you. He is anatomically correct. I think this is a fantastic new character, that fills a niche for an anime style everyday male character.

On the subject of Women's clothing which work for men, Boyd has a lei now, courtesy of the dforce hula Outfit and Pose Set. I've wanted a lei forever!  I cant think of a time when Owen and Boyd travel to the tropics, but now it may have to happen!

Wow, babyfication worked really well on these two.  Had me cracking up because of so many renders of them as adults, and then this surprise.  Very cool.

It does. You can tweak it a bit too. You need to dial out, some adult morphs like Michael 8, or the baby looks rather strange, but it does a good job of making the character look like its adult counterpart, which will be handy, when Owen and Boyd go to the fertility clinic to have a bio-kid made.

Agreed, Boyd and the beach is a great combo!

Yuji looks good. I am a bit disappointed he doesn't combine as well as I would like with other characters facially. The body looks good though.
