I just noticed I missed commenting on @SimonJM's image! How embarrasing. blush

SimonJM, your girl's face is lovely. She looks as though her mind is a millions miles away, but I believe she's sitting down and petting the kitteh in her lap, too.

How funny that mori_mann and nattaruk both came up with food faces at the same time. Yet the scenes are so different.

@mori_mann, Somebody's been playing with their food! I love the chili pepper for a mouth. What really sells the image is how ordinary the kitchen counter looks. I love the clear canisters. I used to own a set that was clear like those. The colors make this image cheerful, as well.

@nattaruk, The sepia tone of your image works really well with the old diner feel of the set. Even the plate of food arranged to make a face feels like something out of an age gone by. Seems like nowadays we're all too busy for such details. "Order up," Joe called, followed by a mumbled, "Got a hundred texts to answer 'fore noon!" as he turned back to the kitchen.

@nattaruk and @mori_mann  similar ideas but very different images, that is interesting and they are both lovely. It never even came to my mint to make the face in that way

We do that with the pancake faced sometimes :D

All I can say is that the Priestess believes it to be a powerful God. cheeky

I tried to do something that could be on a rocky surface made from erosion.... (I made it on a sphere in zbrush and used it with Terradome 3).

I hope this fits the theme,

Title: After Dark In The Museum

Late one night the Egyptian department has some unusual visitors...

Extract from the Memo from the Curator of Egyptology to the Museum Board of Directors:

    ...

I have to report that at some time between the acquisition in August 1926 and last week when the loss was noted, that the mummified viscera contained in the canopic chest (acquistion no. egyp-1926-aug/17063a) have been removed. The bandages were left in the chest.

nattaruk   Beautiful image and great story! Very good lighting and POV. Could be the beginning of a movie or a book.

Looks for Adele Blanc-Sec .... if you don't have a clue what I mean, it's a film by Luc Besson that involved mummies walking around and I can recommend it!

There are a lot of details in the dark. My kind of image! yes

I didn't notice until I looked at the full size image that the female is standing on the god's hand. Are they reviving the woman in the sarcophagus?

The only thing missing, I think, is the Book of the Dead…

    Fun image and well done.

Superb! I can hear the sound of the waves. What a great scene.

It is so difficult to make a night time scene looking good, so sharp and with no noise.

I'll watch your thread to see if you'll tell us your secrets wink
