What an ODD render for sure Mori_Mann!
Well done!
I read several times people are not sure if their image fits abstract. Abstract has a few different definitions, my favorite and sort of a catch all is
- existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence. -
mori_mann, I believe your guy fits both abstract an odd as well as the plants may not exist anywhere together but in you mind. Aside from the definition it is still a very well done image especially with the lighting and shadows,
Hi all,
Thanks for the comments for Ozymandias.
Little & Large
@Llola Lane Large cuppa for me please, (milk, no sugar).
@SimonJM Time to run away?
@xmasrose (aka tulipe) Eeek! Love the crossed eye look and the slightly 'zoomed' effect.
Abstract & Odd
@deeleelaw57 Abstract, odd and, for me, rather cute!
@Ivy You have awesome skills with photoshop! That background is wonderful.
@bigh This is excellent.
@xmasrose (aka tulipe) I love this. Great image. Fashion mags can be very inspiring.
@Saphirewild Definitely odd. I really like the posing of the elephants.
@L'Adair This is just gorgeous! Great to see fae in their natural habitat.
@mori_mann Works for me; I think he is about to tell a very strange, abstract and odd story!
My render.
Title: Songs of The Sea
I envisage The Sea as a 60s psychedelic pop band; this is the album cover for one of the band's records.
(3Delight, the Gimp & Fotosketcher)
The dolphins danced, the whales sang, the seals blew the trumpet and all was right in the world below. An excellent and fitting piece of art nattaruk.
Haaaaaaaaaa...xmasrose (aka tulipe) That is great!!! It's amazing where we get our inspiration from. Thanks for sharing!
Oh yes indeedy it is odd.... Unless you live in Africa I suppose... lol. Thanks for sharing Saphirewild
Ooo L'Adair ... the Fae sure do know a bit about abstract and odd ;) Thanks for sharing!!!
Yes indeedy Mori... lol. And a handsome winged guy at that ;) Very well done.. Thanks for sharing!
OOoo thanks for adding your art this month nattaruk ... It sure does fit the abstract and odd theme nicely. I love the color choices. Well done!
very nice render definitely fits in the odd :)
Thats a master peice nattaruk. looks like a water color painting
.
It's surely Abstract-n-Odd to be wearing a cage dress with little Pweebs on it... right? lol
right - good work
Very nice Llola Lane. One thing you can say about those cage skirts is they leave nothing to the imagination. Is that little green dude in the back looking up?
LOL Dee... I hadn't thought of that.. but yeah... maybe catching a little sneak peek! Luckily she has undies on... lol
Thanks for the comments, all :)
I like the concep of The Sea being a band. Cute critters on an odd dress, too! :D
Something weird with 1, 2 or all 3 of the combination of the DAZ site, my computer/network, and Opera. Sometime sit just stops responding .. all other sites are ok and if I spark up Chromium that's fine too ... then after 5 or so minutes all is good back in Opear again! So, second time of trying to attach ... Not as original as it could be, but ...
well done
Not sure if the plant wants pizza or a piece of kitteh, very well done SimonJM
It's hard to be abstract when you like to tell stories. This made me feel like I was back in highschool art class... not a pleasant feeling! Still, it was interesting... thank you for the interesting inspiration.
LOOK... SEEEEEEeee March is here and now we have to look for...Things with faces / Found faces
Where will you find a face? On a cloud??? In a piece of cheese??? Can't wait to see all the faces that appear in this thread this month ;)
Happy rendering everyone!
Everyone sees pizza... I see a slice of pie! LOL...either way.... Plant is in for a treat? Love the lighting on this one Simon... Thanks for sharing!
OH WOW Misselthwaite .... that is awesome. I'm so glad you decided to join the challenge. Thanks for sharing!
Very abstract very odd and very well done. The colors and lighting are excelant Misselthwaite.
Face
Ups, I think I slept through February...
That's an interesting face there bigh, could as well still run as abstract and odd
I think February was worth sleeping through - we were frozen solid most of the month. Kids were happy - buses couldn't run much, and now the temperatures are headed down again :-(
I see it!!!! Very well found Bigh. Leave it to you to start us off for the month... again! You ARE a fastie!!! lol. Thanks for sharing.
