How on earth did you ever figure this out! It sounds like an excellent way to do it. (I wish the gallery was not slow. I get frustrated every time I try to look at gallery pictures.)

    Because she's a genius, as usual. :)

Okay folks, really want to generate some buzz for GypsyAngel.

The Because I Said So!  contest is baaaaack! and focusing on GypsyAngel.  Please share this as many people don't visit the Art Studio and we need to get the word out about  BOTH that Commercial Thread information and the contest. As mentioned in that thread, I don't need help with prizes, I'd rather you purchase GypsyAngel products you currently don't own here at Daz. :)  The contest kicks off July 1st and runs the entire month, with voting the first week of August. Hop in and do what you do best- make us laugh!

I've also changed the contest rules so you can still participate if you don't have GypsyAngel products, but you will not qualify for 1st-3rd places as it defeats the theme/purpose of the contest. You can qualify for the $5 prizes (places 4-6)

If you have a lot of images to include, like I did with my depth tutorial, and you want to have them uploaded ready before you start typing, you can post them in advance in this thread: An OT thread for images. Then use the method shown above to find their URLs.

I use the Galleries to store my images. You can create folders and subfolders to keep things organized. I have a top folder named Private, and all the subfolders in that folder are marked Private in the settings, so none of those images show up in the public galleries. (This has the added benefit of storing all the images in "one" place, so I don't need to search old threads looking for an image I want to reuse.)

When I want to post an image from any gallery page, public or private, I double-click close to the upper right of the image, and the entire image is highlighted. (I'm using Firefox. Not sure if this works in other browsers.) With the image highlighted, I hit Ctrl+C on my keyboard to copy, go to the post, click with the mouse where I want the image to go and hit Ctrl+P on the keyboard to paste the image, formatting complete.

Gallery page images are 730 pixels wide. They are resized by the forum software and the size is part of the url. If you want to reduce the image size to 600, as Novica recommends, you can look for the _730_ in the image url and change that to _600_ and the image will be resized to 600 pixels wide.

The image is automatically linked to the original size image that was uploaded, but you still need to click on the Link tab and set the Target to New Window (_Blank). If you are sharing an image you've made public, change this url to that of the gallery page. This makes it easier for people to find the image and give it a Like.

Anyway, that's how I do it. The advantage of using the OT Thread as @chris-2599934 and many other do, or using the galleries, is the image need only be uploaded once, to be shared many times. That saves you time, not having to upload the image several times to include with multiple posts. (And it saves server space and bandwidth for Daz, which can work in our favor, to some extent.)

ETA: When viewing forum posts, I've made it a habit to right-click on images I want to view, and selecting "Open Link in New Tab". It just makes things easier for me…

How on earth did you ever figure this out! It sounds like an excellent way to do it. (I wish the gallery was not slow. I get frustrated every time I try to look at gallery pictures.)

I spend way too much time on the forums… Obviously! laugh

This is from GypsyAngel at another site, it's just a morph set- and I laughingly say JUST because you get FOURTEEN guys of all types. There's even an elder dude! (It's also on sale 50% right now) So this is a fantastic combination with Daz dudes sold here, using their materials. @DarwinsMishap Salvatore (G3/G8M) is an excellent one if you want bushier brows that go with a rugged countenance.

PS GypsyAngel just did a GoFundMe so we can help her get her computer fixed. Otherwise, she's done as a vendor. It wasn't her idea, several of us encouraged her to do that btw. We're not about to see that talent disappear!

    DROOL.

I'd like to mention that although those of us who donated did $20 or more amounts, every $5 will add up- so don't let the other amounts deter you if you just don't have it at the end of the month!  There's those pesky "not now!" things that break at the worst possible times too.  We have a  guesstimate $4000 fence coming up (part of the back one just went ka-put and fell over!) but there's a three month wait before the fence company can even come see us to give an estimate. Since that's smack dab in the middle of hurricane season (Sept) we aren't going to do the fence until end of October.  So I have a bit of time to spread out that expense and use a credit card LOL.

So everyone understands if you have pressing things going on / unexpected bills / unemployment and can only donate a little, or not at all. We don't want anyone to feel pressured to donate that would make it a hardship.

One thing you can do- if you bought the male morph pack at the other store, leave a review. I'm on my way over there to do that now. I'm going to see about putting the render in my gallery over there too. Edit- here's the gallery link.

Here's another from that morph pack. It's Edwin, using Anderson materials.

Jian Hair (Gen3/8M)   (color 9) goes great wth the Anderson eyebrow default, it's a bit rusty in color. There's also a silver color, and the hair is styled so that it looks appropriate for older guys too.

dForce Coveralls And Tools is the outfit.

BTW I made my weight loss/ maintain the weight goal for my 63rd birthday (today) and have now done that for months- ahead of time. I wanted to weigh 124 or less and I've been able to do that by walking.  I'm at 6.7 miles for today (been walking and on the glider while doing the renders so I'm close to the computer) and so I'm headed off to get in 10 miles for today. I'm going to look up the glider and tell you which one it is, because you'd LOVE it and it's very reasonable (compared to what I thought it would be. I was expecting around $375 to $400)

(Edit- It's at Walmart and called Gazelle Supreme Glider, right now it's $239 and $60 off. Worth every penny and really well made. I use the heck out of mine and have had it since November.)

Another gal at the barn commented on skinny minny me (I was in the upper 140's due to both ankles being hurt and not exercising for two years when she met me) so she asked how I dropped the weight. When I said "walking" and "gliding" she said no way. So she bought the glider and dropped 8 pounds in 24 days, when previously she couldn't drop the weight. And she did it like I do- watching television! You forget you're doing it, it's that smooth. So I'm still encouraging you not to give up and just WALK. No fancy exercises, just walk.

Here's a shot from today, no postwork except the window bar which was FILTHY from us pressure washing the back porch, so I just put a solid cream across there. But me is just me- I took this photo for motivation to be this way next year when I turn 64!  (Stetson is loving the lighter weight too, I might add.)  I couldn't do a selfie and hold the phone out far enough, so had to do a window shot. Funny!

    Happy Birthday!

(And I can endorse the walking thing! I lost about 12 kilos through walking in the last year or so with the aid of a cheap fitbit type watch.)

Happy Birthday, Novica! Have a great day and just enough cake to not quite feel ill.  Hint: if you cut the slice in half and wait a few seconds all the calories trickle out .... cheeky

    Happy Birthday Novica!

Will try to attach my first image, a photo of a quilt I made years ago on display. It has a happy vibe.

You look great and are such an inspiration.

Thanks for the link to the GoFundMe and I made a donation.
