These were the three new ones. Note they went to 61% off.

Hmm, I must be getting ill or something: I loaded up a cart with some Teen Jane items and other stuff, added the code, looked at the price, thought 'nice', and emptied it again.

LOL, no you may just have sales burnout. :)  I of course am a character collector so I was quite happy.

It didn't even occur to me to apply LOYAL-20 to gift cards. That's a good discount! Too bad nothing I want is currently discounted to a good price, so I could get another 20% on top of that.

Is this my first post in this thread? Hello everybody! I've been lurking for a while.

Bought this old Ooh La La V4 dress at the $2.99 sale to check it out, looked like good quality work. It is indeed well done and converts well to Iray.

Other stuff used (converted to Iray):

    Jasmina for Victoria 4 and Genesis 2 Female(s)  -  https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/19256
    Amy Hair  -  https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/25142

Oh how cute! It did indeed convert well!

I just got online (3pm) so I am assuming word got around about buying two of today's new releases and getting 15% off the gift card, on top of the 20% if you have the loyalty code. It's 32% off and NOT A GLITCH.

I have made several trips to the barn today, got out there at 6:30am to get the horses fed and out (to help the barn staff gal) and so when she arrived, I had three out. She was going to leave them in today and I showed her the radar, we've had a few showers but that's fine for the horses. We don't do storms/lightning. So I went back out at 12 noon as a nasty band was coming in, and we got the horses in who are too dumb to go in their buildings (each pasture has a really nice outdoor stall but some ding dongs refuse to go in them, no matter what.)

Not only that but you can get some starter bundles for 78% off bringing them down to 20.15 if you happen to be missing any and want to add to the G8 gene pool. (That is PC price btw)

Sophia For Ellithea 8       Charli Hair (Gen3F / Gen8F)       Casual Spikes Hair (Gen 3 / 8 Male and Female)    Sophisticated Jeni Outfit (G8F)

The lip color is custom- I added metallicity and darken the base color to a mauve. I also increased the glossy reflectivity and reduced its bump a tad. The lighting is a spotlight (Charli hair one is from the side, then moved it to the front/side for the Spikes Hair) coupled with Dumor's Apocalyptic Plant Outdoor Set 1.  I still really like that HDRI product for portraits, it gives a late afternoon/ early evening vibe, depending on which one you pick and your Tone Mapping settings. But it really catches the moisture in the skin and avoids a pasty skin look.

I really like the materials for the Jeni Outfit, the one thing I changed was the purse. It's basically off white.
TIP:  To add the brown trim you should use 164 / 154 / 135  in the base color (Surface tab)  You can select the sections shown, but that white pocket is NOT a separate material zone.
TIP:  Casual Spikes Hair is a good one for under hats. You can lower the height of the hair.

I'm a bit ho-hum on the Charli Hair, you can't really reduce that huge side. The morph which says to shrink the sides only affects the lower middle part. You're stuck with very wide hair from the upper cheek up. So if you look at the morphs and think, "I'll shrink that" you won't be able to do it. (That part which is the bangs sweeping over onto the side of the hair. That part of the hair (the side where the bangs lay) does not shrink. You have to scale down the entire thing.

I'm really pleased to see GypsyAngel's GoFundMe has hit the $800 mark! All those donations, no matter the amount, add up!

I've seen some small donations, too: $5, $10… even one odd ball of $7! Way to go, Daz Community!

The Look at Me pose ocntrol is one of the best buys I've ever did, use it a Lot though I admittingly often forget to put it up in the items used list *sheepish look*

Was it just me, or did you think back to Genesis (using one figure for both male and female)  when it said the "two faces of Shang" and showing the male and female images flipping back and forth?

    Ah, the good ole days!

^ I thought it might be a Mulan inspired character that can cross-dress convincingly... alas, nothing like that.

  • L'AdairL'Adair Posts: 9,479

I thought "Shang" might be a product for both male and female, based on the banner image, Maybe a makeup pack for both, or a bundle…

A really eclectic set of things released today. Miss Shang- is a sort of stylized and male Shang is realistic. Then we have Handmaid's tale, and a girl's bedroom, a car, a drumming set, and a dressing room.

Hope it's OK with Novica but I want to share a silly little image I made for the PC+ challenge with the free, at the time, Ranch Pool Deck. Made the inflatable in MD.

    Snoopy want cookies!

What better place to practice than the pool on the roof top. What a view! There Shannon can concentrate on her music and maybe daydreaming too... Snoopy loves cookies and can smell them from far far away. But what will happen to the float when Snoopy gets to the plate? Tell me!

Snoopy is going to put his lips around that plate and float it out the other side of the pool. Then indulge! (And get very, very sick unfortunately)

  • frankrblowfrankrblow Posts: 2,052

I hope they're not choc-chip cookies, 'cos chocolate makes dogs sick.

And I just had a mental image of Snoopy biting the float, then himself expanding like a balloon...

What a great video Novica . Smart Petra!

dragonfly_2004 I, too, am afraid Snoopy might bite the float by accident!

Thank you for playing! Shannon knows her dog (though she didn't even think Snoopy could bite the inflatable) and they are dog friendly cookies.

Aha! Smart Shannon!  It reminds me of the cookies Stetson gets from (yes, this is really the name, and I love it...) The Cantering Chef.  They are oatmeal, raisin, and cinnamon.

    @xmasrose  I sure will!

Just got back half an hour ago, I now own a Kakariki born May 23rnd. He is EXACTLY 8 weeks (2 months) old today, he was born on a Thursday!

His name is Motuihe (pronouncing it Moe too ee hay) and will call him Tuey for a nickname in all likelihood. That is the island that saved the Kakarikis, the population had crashed in New Zealand. A Conservation Society went to the island and eliminated all rodents (Kakarikis are ground foragers, in addition to excellent fliers, so the rats kept pouncing on them.)  I'll post more when I get a chance, off to the dentist then this evening with my sister and her hubby who are in town from Jacksonville.

Remember Rich is doing a webinar July 20th and you can pm rgcincy for more information about the big cities opportunity.
