Here's the closeup of Cassia. I really like her skin tones, and while the promos show her with the Cleopatra makeup, she has some nice natural options as well. (Edit- the hair is out of the box, needs smoothing. Too crinkly)

    @Novica:

I like the tan skin tone and her eyes. Her upper lip seems unusually shaped to me.. Don't notice the crinkles!

The lips are from a pose set, couldn't find my notes to list the product :) If I do, I'll come back and note it.

A lot of sales right now, and I'm still exploring, found one store 60% off and I'm not sure if it's included or not in that sale- go through your wishlist and see if you have 60% off of things!

EDIT: Yes, it's included- some of the Magix 101 products.

Try the Late Night Sale for the 60% stuff...

Yep, that's what I linked to already :) I had gone to my wishlist and it was a Magix 101 item, so I went to New Releases to see if that store was on sale and saw the other link so I posted it, then went back to see if Magix was included. Nice sale (although I have everything except one hair.)

If you folks don't have the Stalker items, give those a close look. They're really nice!

That's okay. Having one of those myself- I've wasted two hours of my time trying to get the perfect v4 product installed and trying to follow the video tutorial. Giving up for tonight and going to re-install. I see it in the content library, I click, it creates (supposedly) the base perfect v4, but then it says go and load it up and it's not under DAZ People, etc. I'll mess with it from scratch tomorrow, will not waste another minute tonight. G'nite!

Well, I went about it the backwards way, but at least I got it where it should be. I'm not sure if this product works on OTHER poses (aka, some are included) but so far, it's correcting the poses that come with it exactly like it's supposed to work. This is not a DAZ product, it's called Perfect V4 and you can do a web search and find it easily (or go back a few posts, we give a good hint.) I'd wishlist it as I got it for under $30. Here's a sample- look at the arm fixes- all it took was a click. You also get a squished breast morph so if your character is bumping up against something, it is realistic.

    These are screenshots.
    First shots- the arms.
EDIT: Added second set- look at the top of the thighs where join the hips.
EDIT: The third actually added detail to the shoulders- look at the underarms. However, doing a click with the booty/thighs did nothing, so the way this works (I assume) is when you use a pose under "shoulders" then only the "shoulders" fix will work. (WRONG- SEE BELOW)

Will have to play with it.

EDIT: Don't know why it didn't kick in the first time I tried it, but on the last pose, the torso fix worked, the neck change worked, etc. Will post new image in a few minutes. This is a neat product!

I replaced the last image with the screenshot where multiple fixes were used.

Novica if you use the Inject All it corrects the full body in any pose. Just some FYI.

Cool! Thanks, I'll try that. I'm just so glad I got it working! Do you use this a lot?

I wonder if there's something like this for Genesis

I use Perfect for most of my V4 renders when I use the Gen4's now. And TrampG they are some out for Genesis, not sure about G2F though.

That's alright. I don't use G2F or G2M, for any of my primary characters anyway. I'm strictly Genesis 1. I just had some serious issues with a pose on my latest piece. The hips and knees were being contorted unnaturally because of the extremely tight bend they were in (in excess of 110°), even poking through themselves, even though I was using a stock pose designed for Genesis Basic Female.

Is it the same place/same folks as the V4 one? I'll have to get it- I really like this.

Think so, I've seen them but did not buy. But I'll not swear to the site. I get way to many newsletters to keep up with.

POST EDITED: Special thanks to KickAir for helping me find this product- it is only listed as RMTHL Lil in the product files. I even looked through Rebelmommy's store and missed it, but eagle-eye KickAir spotted it!

The chaise lounge is from the portrait studio product, with The Fabricator used for the material. Jennifer Hair is very easy to work with, all I did is shorten the bangs and split them, and move the hair back a bit at the bottom. Nice morph selections. It's out of the box, no smoothing, but it definitely needs some to eliminate the crinkles.

    Lillith is easy to light.

I am finding some gals I haven't rendered yet- but I have. For those looking for mid-tones, take a peek at this one.

I also have this one and will do her soon for you. She's the opposite of Isabel- very fair, neat makeup.

This one is interesting too, I also have her and will put her on my list of to-dos.

If any of the IGC's have these already rendered (or want to) feel free to post them. I'll probably get to them within the next week

I can't find this character- it is only listed as RMTHL Lil, she is for Victoria 4. Typing in Lil gave me no results, going through Victoria 4 I found RebelMommy http://www.daz3d.com/rebelmommy but I didn't see a character with this makeup. I went through all the V4's and not seeing this. Anyone care to guess who this character is? . . .

Looks like Lillith V4 to me.

In the render above, note the beautiful bends of the arms- that is using the Perfect V4.

Thank you KickAir! Somehow I missed it, even going over RebelMommy's page. Appreciate you very much :) I'm going back and listing the products now/redoing the post.

Sasje, love that casual pose- those feet dangling really show off the boots well. Looks like she's taking a well deserved break!

When reading the description, I was surprised that outfit has 19 pieces/props. Not exactly sure what a lancer is though. The back of that outfit is really skimpy but it sure looks good from the front! (Very impractical, eh? Fortified in the front, next to nothing in the rear. A lot of outfits like that.) I really like your soft lighting on that too.

Perhaps the fortified front/unprotected back is meant to discourage the troops from retreating from the battle?! Nice image, Sasje.
Oh, and according to the V3 original outfit: "She can get in close to her target with the semi-auto 11mm Lancer sidearms" so that's what a Lancer is apparently.

I think I have some renders with Ivory kicking about somewhere - I bought it for the texture which works quite nicely on children, but I think I should have one or two of the full character. I'll look around later tonight and see.
ETA: And I notice we're on page 100 already! Nearly time for the next thread... :wow:

Great render! Every time I dust off Luxus, I get worse at it, LOL. Looks like you've got it figured out.

I am working on that now. Please hold off posting any renders so they will be first on the next thread and not buried in this one :) Although we are getting hundreds of views each month, even back on thread one! We just passed the 35,000 mark on this one for activity/views. In just 2 and a half months (since mid December.) People definitely appreciate all the work of the Invited Guest Contributors- and you know SereneNight and I sure do! :) I've kept you in the title thread and removed SereneNight (who of course is welcome to be an Invited Guest Contributor and looking forward to more sci-fi as her time permits.)

Actually, if everyone will wait just a few minutes and not post, I'll activate the other one and Jaderail/admin can close this one.

Thread 4 is now active :) this one will be closed out shortly. Thank you to everyone who surfs in, helps us out, and to the wonderful Invited Guest Contributors for sharing their lovely work and tips.

I'm still fine tuning the beginning of Thread 4, but what you'll see new in that thread is the vendors linked to a post which will have their products all in one spot, like I did with Morris. You will still have the alphabetical listings too. It will take awhile because I need to get the products alphabetically first, but I will be starting on it.

See ya on the new thread.
