I own just about every conversion script you two make for G8, but the one I REALLY want is one to convert G8 Female hair to the men. Long hair for guys is often dubious. The women's hair generally looks much better.

Yep I know how old this is and how long it has been out but ... I really wish one restriction did not exist as some of us have very organized runtimes.

As you see, I have my clothes in a library well suited to my logical nature. Thankfully I can rename 03. Clothes to Clothing temporarily, even 03. Clothing does not work, and figured this out BY looking at the logs, but some people with a self organized lobrary may wonder why nothing is working so I made this post so those can see why it may not be working.

Unfortunately, I need that restriction to keep the converted stuff organized. Without having "clothing" or "accessories" in the path, the script would just have to save the duf file directly at the output directory, i.e., all converted items would be in the same directory. Because it can find "clothing", the script will preserve "/Contemporary/Genesis 8 Female/AJC Pro Skate Outfit/AJC Pro Skate Top.duf" for the converted file in the new location.
Ah, I see why you did it that way now that I think about it. Just a very minor inconvenience. I just like to have mine organized that way. People 01., Hair 02., etc, as it follows my creation path from start to finish.
I have a sort of different issue. After the last conversion I did, the anatomical elements of G8F does not work. They are "superimposed" on the body in a strange way. It is the same for previously save characters as well and when creating new. Also the same for the original geo grafts as well as third party alike. It makes me think that the base character mesh is deformed in some way.
I think I did a mistake of doing the conversion in a scene with both male and female characters present and I think I selected the female by mistake but then the script told me I had to select a male character. Is that in anyway responsible for my issues?
The issues exist in Daz 4.15 but not in 4.22 BETA. I had no issues whatsoever in any Daz version before the last use of the script.

Not really unfortunately. Nothing should be affecting the fit of genitalia or geografts. All Sickleyield can think is that you somehow tried to convert a figure as if it were clothing, but I don't think that's even possible with the script. You're probably going to have to delete and reinstall the figure, elements, and morphs, because this is not really something we can diagnose unless we had the system in front of us. Sorry.

Geografts will detach when you have certain tools active. The Geometry Editor Tool and Mesh Grabber does this, possibly the Node Weight Brush Tool as well. To re-attach the geografts, select a different tool, like the Node Selection Tool or the Universal Tool.
Thank you very much! It was indeed the Mesh grabber. I had totally forgot that I needed to do some extra adjustments to the converted item and as the tools stay selected between sessions, it was still on.
The item I converted was actually not under clothing but under props but as it seems to be rigged, I moved it to the clothing folder and that it was possible to convert it using the script.
Sorry for causing confusion and once again thanks for the support.

You're welcome. And thank you @Zicon for helping so much!

Hmmm, interesting. I will look into it.
Thank you!

I'm a newbie to Daz Studio. I installed it with Dim but I don't know how to use it. Doesn't it appear in the Smart Content section?
