    Ok: This will be great!!! Is Carrara Pro going to be free for a limited time ...That would be cool.....either that or I hit lotto either one would be wonderful!!!.....Trish

    OK, I'll play, but it would be nice if you could give us a few hints, please, please.....

    Guess #1 - Carrara 9 with bug fixes for Genesis, etc. and great new features, like blazingly fast dynamic cloth sims that will revolutionize how we use Carrara, will be available for the last day of March Madness, and it will be a very modest $25 upgrade from 8.5??????

    Guess #2 - The Octane Render plugin public beta will be available for sale.

    Honestly, I don't have a clue, I just hope it will be something really nifty.

    Well on 1st of April, I am having my Lumbar Discectomy!

    Hope I'm not a complete fool for having surgery on that date.

    I had a dream that best parts of Hexagon and Bryce were integrated into Carrara 10 and that 3D mouse support was mixed in.

    Need a virtual countdown calendar...

    I will agree with you. I think the hint was "Reality". Sometimes we need to read between the lines. :)

    Awesome! I've always wanted a morphing cube. When ever I try making my own, it always ends up looking like a box.

    I'm hoping that their news is that Daz Studio will export directly into Carrara.. like it does for Bryce. Or maybe that they finally got dynamic hair for characters working properly in animations. Or maybe that they got dynamic clothing working properly for characters.

    Indeed, I was debating Lightwave3D or Maya, but decided on Bryce.

    I wish all the Bryce artists who sell products on the site would make a Carrara version. Some do...bless 'em, but wish they all did if it wasn't too complicated to do this. They'd make more sales!!!

    I am going to say they will announce either a new set of Characters, or Octane render for Carrara - will throw in the usual they are selling it :p

    Also looking at the date they will announce this news on, 21 days from 10th March would give you 1st April - what is it about the 1st of April that normally happens :D

    I don't think the announcement is about Reality... there is a survey over on their site asking who would be interested in a plugin for Carrara... the survey runs until May 16.

    Could you shoot me a link to that survey? I'll put up an announcement on Cafe. Maybe there is interest but not that many people know about it? I didn't.

    I had assumed the proposed Reality plugin was 3rd-party, but I did not follow that discussion very closely....
