April, 2014 Freebie Challenge - Cyberpunk
Welcome to the April “CyberPunk” freebie challenge. Wikipedia says that this is a subgenre of science fiction in a near-furture setting. Focused on "high tech and low life". For this challenge, you must create a Cyberpunk scene. It can be a portrait of a lovely Cyborg, it can be a street scene, or it can be an image of a new invention for the Cyberpunk world.

The morphs++ packages for the base figures will be no counts this month. So if you are using Genesis then the Head and Body evolution morph packs can be listed as no counts. The same is true for the morph++ packs for the gen 4 figures or the morph pack for Dawn.

I'm definitely interested in and watching this theme (but from behind pie-proof glass), it's one I've been meaning to do for a while. Hopefully later this month I'll be able to join in the fun. I have a few big projects already on my plate at the moment though.
I still haven't changed my signature image... I suppose I should do that soon.
Okay, I've done that.
And I have an idea for a render... now to find a few specialized props and clothing items.
Sounds like fun! I will have to see if I can come up with anything.

I realized that if I wait for life to stop throwing disasters at me before making art, well... I'd never make art! Last week's disaster was a car accident. I, thankfully, was alone in the car and was uninjured (aside from a little neck strain.) The car was much less fortunate, but it is fixable (thank god! I love my car!!) This was a marvelous exercise in de-stressing. :) So here's my first (and potentially only!) render for the month.

Also, not really a freebie, but if anyone wants the transparency map I used for the vignette, you can find it here. I ended up using several plane primitives stacked together to make the vignette as deep as I wanted.

Nice :) reminds me of Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the shell, which is great movie that i had on VHS, that holo emitter looks great too. Sorry to hear about the car, but i am glad that you are all right. I think i will have my entry soon.
