The door is open - every one is welcome !
some fun today
Two renders at default settings just to see what happens when the creek dries up...
Pete is at work .
Book cover for an author/friend of a series based on a Narnia-style theme... soon to be on Amazon both in paperback and Kindle! :cheese:
Nice lighting Bigh and Tim, I like the shadows from the shade trees and in the stream on each. :)
Thanks for the new thread, the other was 100 pages!
;) Silene
like how you did the little critters !
But all these posts so far would have fitted on to that page. Post 1500 is the last post of a thread normally.
Working on my website. Not "live" yet but here is a preview of the talking head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0wIcTVaL1U
That's really cool, I didn't know what you did to be honest... just found some bits and bobs here and there on the web. Very intriguing... the eyes snapping open really get your attention!

Site slow to start for me
Didn't know you had to click on the black left side to start
City slow to run and to much of the same thing - Vimeo is all way slow for me
Cool looking
Every thing worked good but kind of slow ( even when I went back )
All the best !

Thank you for feed back. Entirely possible that some things didn't load...
City is slow because it is ART lol
thank you !
W.I.P.- playing with reflections and caustics; AO based lighting
stunning!
thank you Holly, yet lot of work to tune up some weird bounces and shades; stunning are your works with lights and sceneries, you should work with Fluxus performers imho.
Long time no post or pretty much anything else, lol ...
Here we go, lil' modeling project I did recently ...
modeled in SILO 2 and rendered in Carrara 8 :)
Wow!
Very cool stuff!
love the old school amp
Morning all!
magaremoto and 5thElement - gosh those are stunning!
Nice!
5thElement - Nice piece of modelling there. congrats!
Very cool stuff! Love the old-school amp.
Not so “old school” that you think !
The best amplifiers of the moment return with lamps.
An incomparable sound compared to the microcomponents.
Very nice job, 5th element !

That's because anything sounds good after waiting ten minutes for the tubes to warm up. ;-)
I'm old enough and my parents poor enough, that we still had some lovely tube based home electronics when I was a kid.

LOL - heck, I'm old enough to have owned some of those lovely tube based products. :ohh:
The greatest challenge makers of new 100% solid state apms have is making the sound dirty to replicate the rich sound those old amps gave us.
