This is a broader take on the theme than I expected - I thought I was the only one who did things like that!

DanaI like it too. I did have to scale it up a bit though. It loads kind of small and not to proper scale. But, then again, the same thing happens with the Dystopia City Blocks sets.

Hmmmmm... two-thirds of the way through the month, and we only have three entries. Even if you enter a poorly-posed, poorly-lit render, you're in good shape to place somewhere in the top five... :down:

And I thought this was a good theme, too - not too specific, open to wide interpretation, easy to come up with ideas just by stepping outside on a summer's day and watching what everyone else is doing. I know people are sad about Jaderail's passing, but would he have wanted the Challenge to disappear with him?

I don't know if I offered already...hehehe...but I can help judge. I have a BIG GAVEL!

I guess I will announce now that I will be hosting next month's challenge. I know I am hosting October, but I have a theme in mind that I think will be a lot of fun for next month. You can read about it in next month's intro I will post.

Also, if no one else has thought of it or said it, I want to personally thank you Robkelk for being so kind as to dedicate this month's challenge to our friend Jaderail. He was very well loved here, and you abandoned all other ideas you had in store, just to stop and give respect to such a fine and giving soul. That is special and I commend you for that. Thanks for keeping it real friend.

I'm so used to doing my own lights that I never look at how other people light their scenes... I should really stop doing that and pay more attention to the freebies lists.
