    Dear all Bryce miracle workers,

    I have an idea, more original than the one I entered and the one I am presently still working on, for a render in this contest that I know I will not be able to pull off in the short time frame left. So if anybody can, be my guest!

    The idea is to have a young man in his best attire (that's part of what I can't create fast enough) on a knee with either a bunch of flowers or maybe a ring (Tim?) in his hand, looking very passionate onto a beautiful young lady (in nice clothes) that is haughtily and coldly and arrogantly turning her head away and clearly not accepting the offer. He's on fire, but she's as cold as ice.

    I would like to see that render, but since I don't have the appropriate clothing for my DAZ or Poser figures (and not willing to buy) and since building a nice background area is quite some work, I will have to pass on this one.

    Anybody up to this challenge in a contest (for no prize but my admiration)? There still is some time left!

    @Tim Bateman: Yes, time constraints make it virtually impossible!

    @Yellow pen: Wonderful render!

    When making just a landscape, I suddenly got inspired for my second entry!
    Everything made (and rendered) in Bryce. A little postwork in Photoshop Elements to increase the contrast.
    For this one I used instancing and the 'randomize' option a couple of times at the point of impact.

    This one is called: Impact.

    I wish everyone best of luck with the judges and I wish the judges inspiration and wisdom to choose the most interesting (which they always do, I feel).

    Happy New Year to all!

    Here is my submission (Fire horses). (Wrung from Bryce like the proverbial blood from a stone. I hope its not too late - its 4:54 am in Africa)

    (Sadly,for some reason I couldnt get the nice fire texture that I used on the horses in my draft scene to render in the final one - the reflection setting just snarled up the render totally and had to be zero'd)
