Yeah.  It is one of the interesting things when it comes to words and images.

Sometimes words cannot describe what we see.

And sometimes we see things the words do not describe.

In some ways I love the stories that describe everything in a rich tapestry.  And some times I enjoy the stories that allow me to fill in my life experiences to make the story feel...more real to me...:)

Me and my friends spent every day of summer going to the beach when we were young.  Me, Julie, and Alex would meet friends at the promenade every morning.  There wasn't a day of summer that went by when we didn't do something on or under the water.  I loved growing up in northern Minnesota where there are more lakes than people.  I miss that now.  And I miss them...

Oh God do I miss them.  I wish I had been smarter back then.  Then maybe I never would have lost them...

This is Young Julie, Alex, and Jack back when they were growing up.  Just a fun little render of some characters I enjoy writing stories about.  Hehehe.

Betty is an old school kind of girl.  She wears a lot of yellow sundresses, but she borrows a lot of ideas from Jasmine.  Now Jasmine’s a new kind of girl, so dressing up to go out on the town can get awful interesting as they’re trying to match outfits.  Me, I’m happy with something in white.  Something that shows off my awesome personality you know.  And white goes with almost anything they pick.  Sometimes it’s yellow, or white, or even red.  And sometimes it’s something blue.

I love the water.  It’s where I came to have fun and play on summer days.  It’s where I relaxed and enjoyed bonfires on summer nights.  I hooked up with friends over here in front of this café.  I remember their ice cream to this day.  I jumped off this promenade and spent hours in the water with people I wanted to spend my entire life with.  This is where I grew up.  This is where I wanted to live until the day I died.  This is where I discovered girls.  This is where I earned the name Jack.  Right here.

So there I was, innocently showing my two best girls around the place I grew up in, when an Arnam came out of the water.  Now that's normally not a strange thing.  They live under the water after all.  And they've always come to Minnesota to enjoy our summers all my life.  Some even stay for the winters, though most go on down to someplace warmer like Mexico or the Caribbean.  So anyways, here I was being all innocent and such, when this Arnam popped up and got my attention.  "Well, hello there," was all I said.  I wasn't flirting.  Honest.  But then she asked something that...well.  It's hard to explain so here it is.  She asked, "Jack?  Is it really you?  Have you really come home?"  Then she reached out and touched me as if to make certain I was real.  Well, I had to put my best smile on and answer, "Yeah.  It's me."  But I couldn't answer the last question.  I mean.  I'd been gone so long it didn't feel like home anymore.  I didn't know where home was.  How do you respond to a question when you have no idea what the answer is?

Jessica and Susan chose to become bounty hunters after The War.  Yeah.  Itty Bitty Jess and Big Bad Sue are on the hunt for all the bad boys out there.  I’ve gone on some of their hunts and they are fun to work with.  They may look like a couple of pretty faces, but they’ve got some of the baddest asses I’ve ever seen.  Do not cross them or you will regret the day you were born.  What ya gonna do when they come for you?  Just surrender and go along nicely.  Trust me.  It’ll go better if ya don’t piss them off.

I make a lot of enemies in my line of work.  I don't really mind much.  It means I done something good.  Some of those enemies try to kill me the next time they see me.  There's times when they fail.  It's never for lack of trying let me tell you, and sometimes it's not by much.  So you might say that Jessica and Susan have saved my buns more than once when things got a bit deep for me.  And those who tried to finish the job tended to get a nasty surprise when they showed up.  Now I got a couple things to say to all you people that failed to kill me.  I am a real forgiving sort of guy, but Jessica and Susan tend to carry a grudge.  And trying to kill one of their friends gets you bumped right up to the top of their grudge list.  So get out of my galaxy before it's too late.  You won't like the alternative.

  • Wow I am loving the story here of Jack, he is a non nonsence sort of guy huh?

and those lovely ladies are.....well dangerious to say the least kinda gals I would not mess with at all.wink

  • Oh, there is a LOT of nonsense in Jack.  ;)

And there's a lot of people would say that's ALL there is to him.  Hehehe.

But he does try to do at least a little bit of serious inbetween all the nonsense...just enough to make a difference.

And yeah...those lovely ladies are real dangerous.  Do not start something with them you are not prepared to finish...;)

    Do You Feel Lucky?

Now just wait up before we all do something you’ll regret.  I know you got ten big bad guys and there’s just two of us.  And I know you’re doing all kinds of math trying to figure out what ten can do with two.  But let’s just take a moment for a bit more math.  You see we’ve got three revolvers here.  I know you’re fast, but I guarantee we can pull the triggers twice before you get a hand on us.  So that’s six out of ten that’ll end up with holes in you.  That leaves four of you, right?  But we’re only here for Lucky Lorenzo.  His bounty pays double if there’s no holes in him, so he gets a pass on the shooting.  That makes only three of you very unlucky guys gonna put hands on us.  That just seems like real bad math to me.  Or we can go for what’s behind door number two.  Lucky Lorenzo and us walk out of here with no shots fired or unkind words uttered and you nine can elect yourselves a new leader.  So there’s two questions you need to ask yourselves.  Do you want to cross a couple of real Cowboys serving a judge’s legal warrant?  Or do you feel lucky?

I really like everything about this last image!

  • I had a lot of fun putting it together.  I rendered it in 3dl first and then realized I really wanted to try it in IRAY.  Grabbed my real world lights, told it to do an August morning at 10:30 AM with just a hint of blue in North America and see what I got.

What I got was just what I wanted.  Hehehe.

    Not So Lucky

Some people are smart. They see a no win scenario and try to come up with another way. They try to outthink the situation. They try to find another way to do it. They look for different definitions of success. Some people just surrender and go with the flow. And then there are those royal class of idiots that charge in without thinking. They’re the ones that end up not so lucky when the time comes.

    Out of Luck.

Sometimes you get into a fight you’re just not prepared for.  You may think you are.  You may have trained for years to be ready.  You may think you are the biggest of bad asses who can take all comers without breaking as sweat.  But sooner or later I’ve found that you always run into something you just aren’t prepared for.  Someone who is better than you.  And when that happens you’re just out of luck.

    Make Your Own Luck.

What do you do when you’re out of luck?  What do you do when the chips are down and you’ve got nothing left?  What do you do when the bad guys have you down?  Well, there’s some secrets I’ve found to winning fights.  One of the most important is that the best fighter often loses.  Knowing how to fight isn’t the most important thing to winning, you see.  The person who’s got more fight in them can win.  If you’ve got fight, you never give up.  You get back up on your feet.  You swing for the fences.  You let the chips fly and make your own luck.

Those ladies can sure handle themselves in a situation I tell ya!!

You did a very good job with the action shots. That is something I am never brave enough to tackle.

  • I do try to show them doing good.  ;)

As for the actions shots...I have some good pose collections.  That I then twist a bit to my requrements.  And I often get into the limbs to move them a bit as well.  Dialing the settings around to get them just right.

It's all just practice.  Trust me.  When I first started my action shots weren't this good.  Practice makes better.  ;)  And one day I figure I'll look back and see all the problems with these.

The point is to just practice and see what you can do.  The more you work at it, the more you will surprise yourself.  Hehehe

  • Ya pose sets are a great starting point and time saver.  Can't wait to see what the ladies get up to next!

  • Yes, I have many Genesis and Genesis 2 pose sets.  I love that Genesis poses work so well with Genesis 2 figures.  I wish Genesis 3 poses worked as well with Genesis 2...but...*sighs*  There are a lot of nice Genesis 3 pose sets that I just don't get because I'm so heavily invested in G2 that stuff that doesn't work with it does not work for me.

If they had a converter then they would get many more sales from me at least.  And I bet many others.  Hehehe.

Sometimes when I look out on a world for the first time, I just have to ask, “So, is there anything interesting to do in this mudhole?”

Pretty often, Jasmine’s answer has been, “I sure can't see anything.”

On one particular mudhole, Betty had a unique answer for me.  It was one that caught my attention and started a whole interesting story for all of us.  “There's a fairly large bounty for a local bad guy.  Name's Lucky Lorenzo.  Might be worth looking into.”

Using the new Emexon IRAY car

    Daz Studio 4.8 IRAY.

When Taylor and Jennifer go out driving, they don’t just take any old car. They drive something built to last amidst a universe of dangers. They pick a car as comfortable on the inside as it is beautiful on the outside. They pick a car that can take them everywhere they want to go with power and safety. If you want to be like T&J, the next time you pick a car, pick Emexon. It’s hard to beat.

    Homework

I was assigned a Personal Assistant AI as part of school when I was a kid. She helped me study and learn things and all the other school stuff. We were taught to customize our assistants during Middle School, as we began to branch off into our later courses of study. It was in high school that we generated our first Personal Assistants from scratch. Mine was a redhead with green eyes because that was rare in Minnesota. And I’ve always enjoyed being different. She was a good study buddy. Though once I discovered real girls, I started spending a lot more time with them. Still, she helped me get through school, so I owe her a lot.

Amazing renders as always Medron Pryde!!!

  • I'm trying to get better.  :)

I'm glad you like them.  I just keep on going back and forth between IRAY and 3DL.  3DL is easier in a lot of ways, but IRAY works better in a lot of ways.  Sometimes.  And sometimes it just wigs out.  Lights are hard to get right, but they look awesome when right.  :)

    Santa Baby

Santa Claus may have a tight schedule coming to town all over the place, but there are always others willing to don the outfit with some naughty or nice spirits.

Jack, Betty, and Jasmine are always happy to dress up for a party, and Jack always likes to arrive in style…

    Jasmine

Betty chose to be my cyber. My partner. She was born to be with me. Jasmine was not. Jasmine was born to be with someone else, but that someone died. Most bonded cybers die when their pilot goes. They can’t imagine living without the person they were shaped to complete. But Jasmine is not most cybers. She's a real tough cookie, and I’m happy to say that she chose to live on. With me as it happens. And she wasn’t the last. I guess I became a home for wayward cybers over the years. But Jasmine’s special. She never left. She never found something better to do. She stuck around. And my world is richer for that.

    Out for Picnic

Everybody has to take time out for a picnic from time to time.  The Cowboys love to take those times and run with them as far as possible.  It's all about friends getting together and enjoying the times they have together.

Here is Charles and Dorothy at one of them, posing for the camera in front of a beautiful lake in the background.

And here's Betty walking down the street...Alone...

This is a bit of...shall we call it...an experiment.  Hehehe.

Here I am.  Supposed to be meeting a friend to go shopping.

Then the lights go out and I can't find her.  So here I am...alone.

    What was that sound?
