mermaid : Beautiful mountain landscape, great choice of materials.

Horo : very special render, using terrains for an abstract  is a great idea and the result is awesome.

NGartplay : cool transformation, I like the result and I also see grapes.

2 crater landscapes, same terrains, different sky and material.

adbc - thank you. Great mountains with the two craters. The second is awesome with the fog.

Hubert, what an amazing set of Hubisms! Impossible to choose a favourite set here. And thanks for the generosity.

Mermaid, lovely terrain with very good texture.

Horo, Your four terrains in a reflecting cube light sounds like a complex way to create a scene. And it looks like a mess, in a positive sense. Like lots of items thrown together in a box or something. Very interesting.

NGArtplay, very good use of Hubert’s scene. Nice literary reference too.

Adbc, great cold looking terrain renders. Wonderful to see the different view with different settings.

Thank you all.  adbc, the terrain in the first one is really nice...great work...but the second with the fog has all the drama.  Really catches the eye.

    Thanks Hansmar and Adbc

Adbc - two excellent crater renders, perfect lighting and materials in both.

Mermaid: A nicely composed scenery. Great terrain and awesome *plants*.

Horo: Your abstract image is fascinating! Cool terrain work, mats and complexly nested shapes/reflections.

NGartplay: Very cool results, sorta Heavy Metal grapes. The 2nd from the top is my favorite with its gorgeous coloring. -- You had obviously great fun to play with my workfile. :)

    adbc:
    - Thanks.
    - Wonderful crater landscapes. Awesome mats and I love the atmosphere of the 2nd one. Impressively *different* variants from the same terrains and POV!

    Hansmar:
Thanks. Am always glad to share and to view other members' results.

adbc - another very beautifully done render. It seems that we have been inspired by the same colour scheme, see below.

hubert - thank you. Here are the DTE terrains as used for the previous render on the previous page.

    DTE-Terrains

The terrain was given a material combined from two sets, the moon is a sphere, sky and ambient light by an HDRI and the key light by the sun.

adbc, enjoying your sandy, wasteland images.  The 'fog' could easily be dust clouds.  I like that it has a subject matter with the buildings.  Well done.

Horo, thank you for sharing.  the pics look deceptively simple but your results are super complex looking.  the texture runs down the side of the hills without distortion and look very real.  Excellent.

adbc, interesting render. Maybe a bit more haze would make the distinction between city and mountains in the background more visible.

Horo, Thanks for showing your texture-terrains. And your new terrain render looks very good.

adbc: Your futuristic city is very cool (on a seemingly hot planet).

    Horo:
    - Many thanks for posting these DTE screenshots. Very interesting!
    - Your most current landscape rocks. Fantastic textures!

Hubert – thanks for the comment and thanks once again for the files. I played with the lowres-sample and I'm amazed to see how you use only two objects a terrain and sphere and with the help of lights, to get such complex renders. Here’s one of mine using this file, very additive

Adbc – beautiful futuristic city, love the warm effect

Horo – another outstanding landscape, thanks for sharing the DTE settings

mermaid - thank you. Beautiful result with Hubert's abstract. Very nice soft colours.

The terrain is from Gritstone Hills with a material assembled from the same set and High Resolution Terrains 1. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Terrain Stacking and the key light by the sun.

Horo, you keep rendering the most beautiful landscapes.

Wow Hansmar, yours are all so different.  Impressive.  I moved the camera and material settings around but all mine look similar.  I like the Scottish plaid of the third, bright colors of the 1st and 4th and the intricacy of the 2nd.  Great work.

    Thanks NGartplay and Hansmar

Hansmar - a beautiful set of examples of Hubism abstracts

mermaid : beautiful outcome on hubert's abstract, nice and soft colours.

    Hansmar : wow, stunning results.

Mermaid: What a difference to my gaudy versions. Beautiful soft colors!

Horo: A wonderful wide view. Great terrains and *mat* work.

Hansmar: That's some wild stuff. It's fascinating how your mats change the look.
