Thanks rk66 for those video links! I see that these effects can be used for non-animation scenes as well.
90% off if you buy 4 or more M4/V4 in this big list, includes a few Carrara unique hairs and some Animate sets (compatible with plugin):
https://www.daz3d.com/m4-or-v4-related-items
Lots of other items that are Carrara compatible too
Thanks! I was too busy filling my cart to post here. :) 90% off + PC coupon = cheap deal.
Thanks,
but do not works !!!
Shopping cart with 4 elements but no reduction.
Try with Firefox and Safari :-(
probably after putting in your cart you have to go to checkout to see the discounts apply
I have the same problem as Jamy. An anti-French conspiracy?
The V4-M4 sale has been having problems. Daz is being alerted. They have merged some related threads here.

If you can get the sale to work, there are some Carrara-specific V4/M4 items in the sale.

All of the non-Daz originals got yanked from the sale. Very uncool. But weird things happen on weekends. If they reinstate the original sale, all will be forgiven.
Wanted to add, there is a lot of fury over this in the Commons. While it seems to me that complaints are fairly "common" there, this issue is the hottest I've seen since I got back into the Daz world. Despite the moderators attempts to consolidate, there are multiple threads currently with this theme.
All this heat over some very old figures! Fascinating. Maybe an underlying message that Daz needs to hear is, not everyone dumps the old in favor of the new.
People in the Commons thread are reportng that the sales prices are appearing in their carts. If you have had problems, might be worth checking again.
been a lot of narkiness about many things lately, I think something is in the water
Yup, looks like they fixed it. Like I said earlier, all is now forgiven. :) But it's interesting that V4 can still be in the middle of a commotion.
Just used Diomede's link to buy a few more items. Some nice bargains in there.
;) All is OK this morning, no revolution is necessary ! :D
Worked all day Sunday.
Was broken most of Saturday.
March Madness is here yet again
but as most of it is for G8 et al I guess I'll be spending elsewhere for my Carrara fix!..
which has been the norm for the past few years lol
There will be environments and prop sets that are usable (probably with effort), as well as plenty of back catalogue offers . . .
Same here, although I did appreciate the 90% off deal over the weekend. I got $90 worth of stuff (four items) for $9. But I've been through that back catalog so many times I doubt there is much left for me. Thank goodness for a few new Poser/Carrara items - David Brinnen/ForbiddenWhispers, TangoAlpha - and of course "other" sites with lots of new Poser items, ready to go in Carrara.
You would think that I, being relatively new to 3D, would find lots to buy in a sale with the grandiose title March Madness, even if most purches are from the "back catalogs." :)
But the last March Madness sale was not very mad. I checked my records, and saw that I spent a total of $6 for the entire month, and most of that was for specific items needed for a Challenge. Maybe this year it will be better.
I'm vaguely remembering that last year during MM, you qualified for extra discounts after buying things, but didn't know what the discount was until after you bought something. Plus, they didn't even announce that there were hidden discounts - you had to hear it from other people.
Helluva way to run a company.
We must be browsing on different sites, or different sales then. I can understand Carra peeps not finding much new that will work in Carrara, but hidden thingies ............. hmm.
hopin nab fenric thingee this sales

Hmm indeed. I'm not the only one who remembers hidden thingies.

Aye maybe, but the item they are talking about today has never been hidden for me, it was right there on the store page when I first logged in this morning. Maybe I am unusual inasmuch as I turn my computer off when I go to bed and then turn it on again in the morning. Not sure if that made any difference,
I don't think so. She is talking about banners and offers that only appear after you buy something. And the existence of the banners is not announced by Daz. These are so-called "Easter egg" offers.
But anyone who starts off a sentence with "Aye," gets the benefit of the doubt from me.
The first rule of the Orange (pick a colour) Banner Club is ...................
The banner type offers are almost always targeted offers which are only sent to people who fit a certain criteria. When people start disgussing them in the forums it does lead to confusion.
