I have all your other videos... since I have "Learning Carrara 8.5" how will "Learning Carrara 8" benefit me?
It won't benefit you at all - I did the version 8 version when version 8 was the latest version, I then added some chapters for the 8.5 enhancements but the rest is exactly the same.

The quickest way, for me, to get either Carrara 8.5 or 8.5 Pro or any products for it, is to just type in Carrara in the search bar of the the Shop or on any other DAZ page... but not in the Forums. Note that while Carrara 8.5 Pro is more than the standard Carrara 8.5 there is a lot more features in Pro.

I suppose that I should mention that the above petipet kits are actually meant for the Spaceship Antares by the same artist. I have that too, but I think these would work really nice with most large star ships ;)

Not at all, I'm doing the same thing. So few new products come with Poser versions, its about the only way left here to find Carrara compatible products on sale.

I've been using Ron's products for a long time, quality stuff. I picked up a couple in this sale that should be useful in my current Steampunk phase:
Ron's Background Images and Textures (the tintype and slate textures look particularly interesting)
Ron's Fog II (I don't have much luck with Carrara's fog ...)
I don't get a 70% off notice at all at this store as it's gone past the date, but bought two things I'd been meaning to get anyways as I have lots of his products. Good luck to you Ron!
