Models from Humster 3D (£75 each)... Nice to work with.... Especially in the run up to Halloween. laugh

All materials re-done in Bryce and rendered in Bryce using various HDRIs and imported 2D photo backgrounds.

Posted this one in my gallery tonight... As this thread seems a bit quiet, I thought i'd bump it to get it going again.

Stonemason's Urban Sprawl 2 provides the background, the Cadillac was a freebie... Scene set and rendered in Bryce... Colour effects by Photoshop.

Don't be afraid to use some of the many free cars out there also, of course you have to be careful on some sites, but there are some cool freebies out there, in fact, the shaders from tom2099 were created simply because of a free 53 Cadillac El Dorado convertible, I don't remember the link to that one, but it is in our archives somewhere in this thread or the previous car and bike lovers renders thread, this one is like the fourth verson of this thread.

It says the site is under maintanence right now, but that means it still exists. Here is the link and you can try later to see if it is back up. This is a free car and it is awesome! Good luck.....http://astorza.net/category/freebies/

Still around guys..just been busy healing folks at my clinic. Got hit by a tornado here that killed 23 people in our area. Real bad one. Was stranded with downed trees, no power, and no water for 6 days. Had to melt ice cubes for water. Eveything is back to normal here, but still folks have total destroyed houses. Here is one of my older renders that I think you will like. I just love this Apache Chevy pic-um-up. Keep posting.

I remember seeing those, or similar, on the streets of my home city when I was young!  Most of them were duller red than that, though.  Or black, or that odd sea green.  Reds always seemed to fade back then.

  • Yeah here in Texas they turned pink or developed a white film and still turned pink

When they got repainted and chrome wheels put on, I imagine the paint lasted a lot longer!

I have always been a "Lassie" fan. It had 20 seasons. First ones were called "Jeff's Collie"...then there was little Timmy...then the Forest Ranger. I think he had one of these Apaches for a while then he went to a Dodge. Wish I had one for real. I am currently restoring my 1967 Ford F100. It has a Shelby Cobra 302 Boss engine built. Cam...headers...hi rise intake and a great big ole' Edelbrock Thunder carb on top. Here is a pick of it.

Heres one of the later ones from Nationale7, this is his 1960 Ford Panel truck, I used a set of his wheels and tires from his wheel and tire pack to hotrod it a little, then I used the old Sidewinder side pipes I got years ago from the warehouse.
