The previous version had such a morph, but this version will have a better one. Also I aim to have it automatically apply when the figure is in bend positions if the master pelvis bend controller is active.

You're a star Zev0! Thanks. Really looking forward to it - it'll be one of the few items I pick up straight away upon release.

To show my faith I've gone and bought Breast Control 3 and Shape Shift 3 today and they are excellent! laugh

You know... I've discovered that the Glute Inner Close morph in your Shape Shift 3 product can also be used to achieve the effect I'm after to a certain degree if you take off the limits and give it a negative value.

    Great stuff!

Lol thanks man..No need to show faith. It is a certainty:) After the skin MR I am finishing those will be next.

Ah yes you can use that morph for that as well if limits are off, but I will be creating a dedicated one specifically for that function that is more refined.

Could Normal maps be part of the problem? I've had to edit a couple.

Normal maps can make your character looking horrible. I for my character AVA has limited the normal map to 25% and have edited also the normal maps itself so I have better looking (my opinion) underbreast area and hipbone are for exmaple (smoother). Second thing is, I have changed the SubD Algo from catmark to catmull legacy and soft corner soft edges.

A normal map is the way of the vendors and character creators to let a low poly figure (like G3F) look like a high poly figure.(like V4)

Actually, it's been mostly used to give additional detail to low poly models used in gaming, since those, especially in older games that ran on the PC, had to accommodate a vast array of different video cards. This was done so that rendering of the moving character model didn't bog down the gameplay side of the game engine. Yes, it can also be used as a sort of "poor man's HD", but to say that V4 is higher poly than G3F is hard to believe without actually showing us the proof.

At base res, V4 is higher poly than G3F, but G3F with Sub-D level above 1 or with HD morphs is way higher than V4.

I have a V4 as SubD Version and catmull clark legacy SubD Algo, this is a truely stunning version of a 3D Model, you can see her in my gallery, her name is DIXIE

But another thing on shape shift for G3F. Nice to have waist shape morphs 1-2 and hip shape morphs 1-4 but I miss also fitting glute shape morphs for the hip shape morphs. The result of some values of the hip sphape morphs are a sharp edge at the side of the glute/thigh/hip area and I use realitvly low values, nothing extreme.

it is quite simple, load a V4 and load a G3F and use wire shaded for view option, you will see the result. YOu can also visit my gallery and have a look at some of my Dixie renders, and if you want to see renders with less clothing visit my gallery at rendo but you just have to look at Dixies faces and you will see the difference between G3F low poly smooth and Dixie (V4)

The problem with a V4 as SubD Version, smoothing mod and catmull clark legacy - soft corner soft edges is, she is recource eating.

next thing, hip shape 3 for G3F , since when has a hip shape influence on a ripcage? Hips and Ripcage, two different bodyparts

if I were to guess, I'd say since G3F.

I end up using the XYZ parameters scale dials to adjust for that

I'm still learning the new morph dials I just purchased, so I really didn't want to comment more then just the XYZ scale dials bit

  • Any update on the planned release date?

    There, fixed...

  • hi can you make bend control on genesis 2 female?

  • Zev0Zev0 Posts: 7,089

I don't think I will be doing that anytime soon. For now, Genesis 3 needs to be brought up to speed. That is where production is focused right now. There are products for Genesis 2 that works similar to Bend Control for Genesis 2 such as http://www.daz3d.com/ideal-beauty-for-genesis-2-and-v6

Recently noticed that with glute control puppeteer allows to move left and right glutes seperatly whereas with breast control puppeteer only moves both breasts. Would a little update bringing support for single breast movement to breast control puppeteer be possible? Should not mean too much work, does it?

Arg, postet this one in the worng thread... but now I got the  correct product:

This product is really great, I use the G3 and G8 version.

The G8 version has additional some seperate Areola HD morphs. I do a lot of images with G3 characters and miss this this morphs a lot.

Would it possible to update th G3 version with the seoerate seperate Areola HD morphs? This would be really great!

    Thanks

I will see if it can transfer backwards. I have not done any G8 to G3 morph reverse transfers yet.
