Thanks for the information, interesting enough we are all on a similar path. I was using "The Water Fall Tool" for Daz Studio by Nerd3D released back in 2009.
Sadly the product is no longer available in the store since it was a great package that contaied animated water flow. Check out the docs here.

I intend to investigate this newer version to see what a combined KitBash will provide.
Double post but an opportunity to say more.
Product Information
Required Products: None
The Water Fall Tool allows you to create animatable water falls any place you want. You can also simulate rapids or rushing water with the same tool. The Water Fall Tool is very flexible can be used on any appropriate set.
@Gogger - you just sold another waterfall product :) That's really great. I've been looking for a decent waterfall application for awhile.
Just a few more USC2 renders I did today, having a bit of time on my hands...
The first is pretty basic
The next on uses one of Martin J Frost's Atmospheres settings (Eurydice from Vol 2)
This one uses Iray native fog settings
Full(ish) list of products in my Gallery
The photographer one is my favorite. I think that fog looks perfect. All the birds look like a real scene. The guy is dressed just right for the outing.
I don't care for the super cyan sky in number two, but the picnickers look relaxed.
I like the cows in number 1 and the dog on the leash looks very natural.
It looks like a lot of work went into all of them.
Had a chance to play a bit last month then was away for most of it so only just getting to post this now.
Its US2 with US1 ecologies and terrain features
Looks amazing, thanks posting your tips.
The one with the photographer looks the best, @MelanieL
so I agree with @barbult
@Gogger, thank you, I have put the Waterfall product on my wishlist. I appreciate the tutorial on how you did those lovely renders.
@MelanieL, I agree that the photographer is best. Migrating birds are common in my area and photographers are all over sometimes and dressed for a changeable weather pattern. Sun in morning, snow in afternoon, or just freezing cold. Great work all.
@DreamWeever - I love the soft gel look and the vines on the sides and at the top make it look like we are seeing through a magic mirror into the past. The vines remind me of enamel work.
Thank you all,
Mary
I like those and your gallery is nice. I like that I can like inyour gallery the very big thumbnails without clicking and waiting for the big picture to load which is very slow.
I was DAZ 3D would embed the DAZ Product URLs in the rendered images within the DAZ Studio scene as it must have most of the information. Then the Gallery backend can use those listing in the rendered image file to create a listing of DAZ 3D store products used to make the render, Embedding the render settings and render engine in the rendered image would be nice too.
@barbult - thanks for the comments. I hadn't really noticed that sky colour until you mentioned it (well, it was pretty late in my time zone!). The first took me less time to setup than to render (I'm on CPU renders - still haven't upgraded my PC), but the second took a bit longer to get the picnic rug in place. For the photographer, the worst part was getting that bag strap in place (although it's still not quite right)! I should have dForced a strap really.
@DreamWeaver - dreamy scene!
@Artini and @memcneil70 - thanks. The photographer is my favourite of the three too.
@nonesuch00 - thank you. Those are interesting ideas about embedding information in the rendered images. I don't post much in my Gallery partly because it's quite an effort to tag the products used.
This is the final image I was angling towards with the waterfall. This uses a jungle biome and man, I had to crank the Environment Lighting to +6(!!!!) but am pleased with the final image. (I promise this is the last one for this particular scene <LOL>.)
@Gogger that is peaceful. I think the hardest thing to do is create a nature, tree/forest environment that would be dim in reality and still be visible in a 3D render. This is my difficulty. I like what you achieved.
@Gogger - I've been loving your waterfall renders. I bought the Waterfall product, but have yet to download it (it's a massive dl). I hope to try it later this week though.
@Gogger where is the man. I can't find him.
Oh! I searched and searched for that "man".
I had SERIOUSLY considered putting something, or someone, just behind the sheet of water of the waterfall and now I really wish I had done it. Hmmm... I think I know what I'm going to do when I get home tonight. (And here I said I wasn't going to keep reposting variations on this scene. HA HA!)
Just repost the same (great ) picture, saying you added a special force soldier doing a training under the waterfall, and that they were so good that you could not catch them on camera
Dead End
Took the wrong turnoff somewhere.
Just a single instance of USC, but I moved the Forest Background higher to create an illusion of a different height.
HA HA! Well, in THAT case, there is a whole Special Forces squad in there. Can you find them? (The correct answer is, no, no you CANNOT find them.)
Nice image and clever technique for a single instance of USC.
I rarely use two instances of USC, so it is something for me to test.
To wake up and get a laugh for two fun renders to start my day is wonderful. Thanks @DoctorJellybean, @Gogger, and @Artini for this. And some more ideas on how to work in USC2.
