    I've been so busy at work that I hadn't had the art computer on in days. Here's the new dForce Horse Hair set released a few days ago. The other horsey products used here and the Ultrascenery/USXT are not new to me, as I buy that sort of stuff the day it comes out.smiley

    I like your ADDITIONAL CHALLENGES... but I think they should be a separate thread than this one... I for one have HUNDREDs of items I've never used before... Mostly old Gen4 stuff.  I feel like I've wasted my money.  Darn Daz for coming up with new generations... I don't have time to use what I have and ... WHAM... a new generation is upon me!  lol

    Well all that money we have paid for older stuff we've never used have kept the vendors going financially so they can make the new stuff they're making now.   So not a complete waste.  Feels better to look at it that way.  wink

    Llola You're a smart cookie! I think you're right here and am going to defer to your wisdom. wink Another separate thread it is! Okay, I might set that up today. Cause I'm pretty sure that there are plenty of others like you and me that have lots of items that we've never rendered before and probably don't even remember buying. It'd be fun to get us all to try some of those out with some additional challenges. heart

    Llola I like the render stuff from a specific day idea too! And oddbob's and paulawp's find items with a search on random letters. Shows how much we have, if we have to do stuff like this... laugh

    Interesting how different she is than my "old horseman" even though they were constructed similarly. Character construction research continues ... and more new stuff used. (Yes, I see the shiny new thread, but for now, I just have so darn much new stuff to plow through.smiley )

    Yes, but if you have more content than you'll ever have the time to use you have to prioritize - the time you spend on your old content you can't spend on the new, and vice versa.  Personally I've been focusing on having a lot of variety, so that I always have something I can use if I want or need to create something specific.  In that context, having too much is better than having too little.

    +1 and at least there's no rush to use it all... It will still be in my runtime til the computer friezzzzzzzzzz and even then Daz has it as backup.  ;)

    Thanks, Llola. I pretty much only post stuff in RRRR contests. We just finished one a few weeks ago.

    I've tried the RRRR contests a few times.. I always have good intentions but other stuff gets in my way before I can complete an artwork for it.  :(  Glad to know you are still here though... Be well!

    True. I agree with you! I usually get lots of different things to have stuff on hand in case I venture into a style/genre that I could use it in. 

    At the same time, I find trying out any content, old or new that catches the eye, leads to more inspiration and project ideas. And sometimes, it's just fun to do! smiley

    luci45 Those renders are fun! Thanks for sharing! One of the things I enjoy most about seeing all the renders in the forums and in the gallery is how creative we can get with reality using 3D assets. Odd can be fun!

    I managed to finish part 2 (of 4) of my princess story inspired by this thread. I got a lot of stuff from FG's modern apartment, to the pajamas the characters wear, to various pose sets, to doggie props and what not during the DAZ+ sale for this part of the story. Some of the stuff was also bought in the PA sale before with this part of the story in mind. It took a bit of time and effort, but has been lots of fun to work on. It's about 10-12 renders, so I'm again posting a link to the gallery where I've uploaded them all. Here's the quick cover for part 2.

    The whole 'story' is just light and sweet, which is just what I need sometimes! Hope you all like it! smiley

    A few days since I did this, but I put together my own skinny leg morph for Aeon Soul's new Metro Style Outfit (specifically the G8F version, I don't use G9 quite enough at the moment to merit buying both variants at release price).
