A little concept art for a current project:
My first test render of Victoria 7:
Tako,
Very nice looking renders. Is this carrrara or daz studio?
Thank you very much mmoir!
Oh yes, I should probably mention what I used.
They were all done in LuxRender from Reality 4 for DAZ Studio.
Here's one with a story. (This is G3F Ashyln from Lyoness)
She looks like she is about to fall oh lordy!
I hope she doesn't fall not much to hang on to lolz!!
Great render!!!!
Ooooh! I love it!
Don't worry, there's a safety net under thar! :)
Thank you for your support!
I'm honored! Thank you so much for stopping by my thread! :D
Good renders Tako! Looking forward to more.
Thank you isidorn!
No prob, here's one called Close Shave:
And my lastest. "Bad Fido! I just bought that!"
Ashyln by Lyoness chillin' with Samedi at the beach this Sunday. She looks a little uncomfortable for some reason...
I love this render. From the expression on her face to the Orcs below, and the camera angle is wonderful. I love the 'story'!!
Thank you KA1 and Knittingmommy!
It's nice when there is an element conveyed beyond the surface, isn't it? :)
Here's a test render of Cailin by Raiya
I believe her last name is Paltrow. ;)
Here's Ashlyn and Samedi again:

No offence to your avatar, but I'd also look uncomfortable if I had a puppet humping my leg...
*blinks* Oh, it makes so much more sense now! No wonder! :)
Here's a sci-fi one for ya.

How does the HDRI work in daz Tako? I really love the kewl light fx it gives.
I haven't played much with that in Iray but I'll tell you what I know.
The image lights the scene as if it were inside a glowing ball.
You may already know, the high dynamic range imagery lights are best because they capture more dynamic range (the range from light to dark) than a standard camera shot would.
If you download some free sets from sIBL they don't come as presets for DAZ Studio. It's still easy to use, just go to whatever directory your IBL's are and choose the largest file of the bunch you want to use.
The small jpg is used for previewing in the program to align to your scene (which using Reality, comes with a sphere you can plop the jpg onto.) I am not sure how to use the preview jpg in Iray but someone else will for sure.
Here's a screenshot of which file to choose, usually .exr or .hdr, as well as where to put this image in iray, and where to put it into Reality if using that. In Iray you can rotate the dome on y to change how it hits the scene. with the Reality sphere instead of Iray you can rotate that like any object in the scene or use the Y rotation option in the Reality popup
Here's a similar shot I did with a purchased IBL from Dimension Theory for my new Supernatural pose set:

It's funny, but when I get stressed I listen to heavy metal. Here's a zombie-themed image I did:
