That's a known Win7 bug -- I get it when there's a 0 byte file in the zip, as in this case, where it's probably a dummy file so that you can load the DS version from the Poser library. When I encounter it I just use 7zip to extract instead.
Too funny, I was over surfing your thread while you were over here! I wanted to see your owl flying in. Looks good!
To stalk ot to be stalked, that seems to be the question around here ;)

When I encounter it I just use 7zip to extract instead. Thanks Mike so really I should be advising if using Win7 is to always extract instead of just opening and do the copy and paste. I am still on Vista hence I have never seen this before.
Yes 7Zip is my prefernce too.
PS I sort of figured out it was trying to load the DS mat using the PZ2 via a script just didn't know the why.
yep got that. When they started doing it I hoped they would follow it through to all content.
And here it is. This is n21 Party Avenue, a view not shown in any of the promos. They only show the outside of the building.
So again, this is in Larsen's store, one of the "get 50% off" promo stores when you buy 3 of the featured items.
n21 Party Avenue
Casual 1950 For Genesis Female (Shirt)
Women's Business Wear For Genesis

Nordic Hair is on sale (showing 51%, not sure if PC discount is included) As mentioned several pages ago, it's a fun, messy hairstyle that's easy to load. The Women's Business Wear Skirt needs to be watched if paired with a top other than the one it's meant for- decided not to redo the render so you could see what you'll need to watch for. In the spot render, the skirt appeared to fit better with the 1950's shirt. I'll adjust it and do a shot for you. The sandals are from Jasmin For Genesis Clothing Accessories.
Sale! Elemental Dragons 3 Pack
I have a LOT from this store, and here's what else I'm scooping up....
Heads up! REALLY cool for the Millennium SubDragon- the one I adore! I've had this wishlisted for a long time. That dragon is the one I used in the renders with Cassini. (It was the Red Dragon texture, a different pack) It is 60% off right now!
http://www.daz3d.com/elemental-dragons-3-pack
And for $3.98 you can add this dude to your character morphs!
http://www.daz3d.com/brennan-for-genesis
Click on the FOURTH thumbnail- the promos do not do this justice so I want to point this dude out! $5.18 at 60% off.

Adjusting the Business Skirt With Other Tops
TIP: If you don't see a scale slider, open the sub menus!
Okay- what you need to do is get to the sub menus in Scene- the skirt itself won't have a Scale slider, you need to drop down to abdomen (NOT HIP) and drop the skirt to 99.4% or so, depending on your character.
Then go to your shirt and also find the abdomen sub menu (you do this by clicking on the white triangles laying on their sides.) Increase the shirt to around 102. That makes it go OVER the skirt. Doesn't work well the other way around, at least not for this top- and this one is form fitting so I don't think it would do well with the skirt on top.
Doing the render now, didn't want to wait. Will do a separate post so those getting emails who are following the thread will know when it is ready. (Edits do not show up in emails.)
Here ya go, looks nice I think! Be sure to click to enlarge, then click again, you'll see how well these fit together when you change the abdomen settings on the skirt and top.
http://www.daz3d.com/dmr-ellas-quest
DMR Ellas Quest (the set I used for the dragon renders) is on sale at SEVENTY NINE PERCENT OFF! Don't miss this sale-the entire store is on sale at 70 percent! All the DMR sets are awesome!!!! Remember these? (And yes, that is the Millennium Subdragon who has the textures on sale that I mentioned)
And the wagon wheel I used in the barn scene, scoop this up!

http://www.daz3d.com/alien-cave
Rendering now. I threw a blue spotlight, pink spotlight (those two mostly on the walls), orange spotlight, white distant light (from the front)
Didn't mess with the Surface tab to do the eyes, but I would recommend turning DOWN the glossy (to make them more glossy) and change the ambient/diffuse to get a better glow. This again, is "out of the box." The mummy on sale and I'm trying to rush so you can see what they look like. Wishlist Alien Cave- the walls are wonderful and again, don't really show up in promos as nicely as they should. They're really fun!
And Alien Cave also comes with lights. I didn't use any, these are just my quickie "get it lit" spotlights. Click to enlarge and look at the walls!
Amun Raw The Mummy

Here is the mummy's head with the eyes lowered on glossy- and really cool, if you change the diffuse you only change PART of the eye, see the blue? That's my dark blue diffuse. (originally black) Made the lips orange with medium gray diffuse, they were black and too dark.
Oh wow- Way of the Shinobi For Genesis (which is AMAZING) got added to the SEVENTY PERCENT OFF! I've reviewed this product already, and used it several times. It is so versatile- you can kit bash easily- so many parts go with other sets!

Coming up- product review on Xerr and Raiver clothing- how well does it bend in a sitting position?
NYC Couture: Saucee
Saucee Outfit
Saucee Sandals
Before I continue working on Xerr, thought I'd showcase the new items for today. The NYC couture is a really nice addition for the Saucee outfit since it's also on sale- a lot of different patterns to choose from.
TIP: Don't be fooled- the buckles on the sandals will make you think it's poke through- I wasted five minutes trying to scale those- only to zoom really close to find out it was the end of the buckle!

http://www.daz3d.com/raiver-for-v4-a4-elite
I really had a cool render for you- but my 4.6 version is messing up. It is NOT saving scenes. I had it lit, had the pose different for Chiara (had her left arm casually reaching out) and had a really neat set. Oh well! Here's the main thing I wanted to test- how well the Raiver pants fit when in a sitting position, and how easy was Kerr to use as a ride. It's very easy- the hairs on the back, simply make transparent by using Surface tab.
Really like all these products. Xerr's mouth opens and closes, arms are easy to pose. And the mummy can easily do the V4 or M4 poses- and make a good friend as well as enemy because when smiling, they aren't gory at all.
Title: Riding Lessons
This is the only other render I have, a slightly different view. Coming up- one of Merlin's sets- if the scene will save!
Merlin's Crossing
http://www.daz3d.com/merlins-crossing
It's got lights, cameras- all it needs is you to place some action!
Really, really nice set. You have several sky domes from which to select, cameras are included, lights are included. You select the sky you want, then select the lights that match it- and it's very easy because they are both the same thumbnail but labeled for you. This is straight out of the box- great job as usual Merlin!
BTW- we all know what it's like to keep feet from going through the ground- Merlin thoughtfully provided that slight rise in the middle of the bridge- and several other places- where your feel will be flat and not go through the dirt.
Again, this is straight out of the box, I did NOTHING so far as lighting except to select it. Wishlist this because those skydomes are wonderful and can be used with other products!
Next post- I'l spin around and give you some other views.
Merlin's Crossing, different view.
EDIT: This is using my 002 blue pattern in the Surface Tab for the water. Gives it dapples. Would need to adjust the glistening though- it's dull.
Another view, same sky dome.
That really is a very nice set! Got a few Merlin items, too. Very nice :D
Merlin's Crossing is now included in the promo! My timing is great, eh?
I just bought the windmill. Couldn't pass it up- look at what's included- that shack should be a separate product IMO, so you're getting two bundled in one! And of course, it's a Merlin product, so 'nuff said.
http://www.daz3d.com/the-windmill
Coming up in a few minutes- Do you have Aiko 5? Have you tried her yet? Cassini, Chiara, and Giovana are about to have a new friend, featuring Aiko 5. She's posed in the Merlin's Crossing scene. Will post in a few minutes and showcase a hair we haven't reviewed, and also clothing.
Aiko 5
Xylia Double French Braids 2:
Adventure Lord For Genesis
Meet Aubrie!
Aubrie showcases the following products:
Aiko 5: (Either one)

Pro Bundle: http://www.daz3d.com/aiko-5-pro-bundle

And for previous generations: http://www.daz3d.com/xylia-double-french-braids
*Note: I did not find an up and down morph- (I broke down the hair in the scene tab too) to raise the hair off the chest. If anyone else knows if that exists, would love to know WHERE. You have options for length, and to take it front and back, thicken- but up and down would be nice. Did I just miss it?
Adventure Lord For Genesis
http://www.daz3d.com/adventure-lord-for-genesis
*TIP: Consider changing the color of that ring on the chest- it is a bright gold. The vendor has created a two toned map so if you change the diffuse in Surface tab to blues and grays you'll get the pretty glowing ring like I did. the outfit went right on, no problem with the shirt. And...
I am testing the pants with the boots for that extreme leg bend- I think there's serious poke through that the spot render is only hinting at. I'll render and we'll see what it's doing.
Anyway, if you haven't played wtih Aiko 5, join the fun!
Okay, I went back and checked everything I had already checked, and when you break down that hair in Scene, you only get the right collar and left collar options and the xyz won't budge to raise or move the hair. (abdomen 2, chest, neck, head, etc) It's not responsive to Y translation (up and down) no matter WHAT part of it you pick. The "Fitting Morphs" are for the nape of the neck, around the ears, hairline, etc. All are very nice but not what I needed.
But this is what I'm stuck with, and I am NOT a happy camper. At this point, I'd have to say if you have an action figure doing actions (lol) and one side of the body (aka the shoulders) is higher or lower, you MAY have problems with this hair. Unless someone can figure out how to raise these braids up and down, I'm stuck. I checked the morph section, and I even changed the parameters on a few of the settings and there's just not enough bend and flexibility to get it working. Here's a screenshot. You will have to create smoothing and collision- there isn't any with this hair. (Find "Edit" which is in the little menu above the word "Scene"- Then Apply Smoothing Modifier)
Hope I'm wrong, don't take my word for it- this is just MY experience- it's a lovely hairstyle from the front! Aubrie will be getting different hair though, that's for sure. If you know how to manipulate this hair, let us know specifically how you raised and lowered it ON UNEVEN shoulders.
Moving on.
It was a bit of a problem to make it fall naturally on my character that is laying down too, instead of letting it fall to the floor as it should have been (specially considering what she was doing) but it had to stay on her shoulder/breast cause it couldn't be moved behind the shoulder enough *pouts* But since I had used that hair in the other serie (the hurting serie I've been doing) I kindah ad to use this, so I pretend it is just some very hard braids that don't move despite her moving basically *smiles lightly*
Good to know it wasn't just me, lol. I am amazed that this vendor didn't supply an up/down to get it off the shoulder or chest area. In all the promos it is just your run-of-the-mill typical poses with the head straight, shoulders straight. I am doing an extreme closeup though so people can see how beautiful the scalp hairline is- the details are so very nice! I just want hair with more flexibility as characters lift their shoulders up! Maybe someone else has found a secret to getting these braids bend-able/ flowing. Do you have a link to your character wearing them Carola?
EDIT: I DO want to mention the morphs that are included are very nice- you won't find a better fit for around the ears- you know how some of them seem like sideburns that stay too close to the face, and when you try to move them, other parts move too? Not this one. You can get the hair exactly where you want it by the ear, over the ear. And you can shorten the braids to not have this problem of resting on the chest/going through the shirt. You will love the detail when I post the render- it's only at 35% though- it's an extreme closeup so will take longer. Its going on 6am here so I have to go get some sleep, will post it in a few hours.
You will also get to see Aiko 5's skin up close!
This leads to the first two pictures in the Hurting serie, (which stars my Fire demon Inferno, and a innocent maiden *winks*) Just scroll down/change page to see the other two that are psoted there too... the fifth one (Hurting 5 - Union) isn't compatible with the TOS and as such is found on my Deviant Art (link in my sig) *smiles*

I get this problem a lot with hair models that were not originally designed for Genesis. *grumbles at Autumn Winds* - also a two-braid nmodel, come to think of it.. Fiddling with the parts/bones does something, but nothing good. Even before fitting or even moving ot near the character. I accepted that as a fact of life, but it is annoying. Hope there's a solution for it. *keeps stalking*
