Look! A star! It's very shap and I'm not sure Rhizhu can resist throwing it in a (presumably) random direction to see how far it goes. So best be careful. Just in case.

I'm squatting low.. just in case Mori... lol.  Thanks for the artwork... Just wonderful!

The temps have cooled down a bit, just into the high 80's (F). Sadly, it's due in large part to a high layer of smoke from multiple wild fires… Anyway, I think I may fire up the beast today, first time this month, just so I can work on a "star" render.

I love what you guys have already come up with, especially the "A Star is Born" reference. (The original movie was in 1937, and has been remade three time!)

Oh YES L'Adair... I think I watched the orginal movie once upon a time... I may have to look it up again to watch ;)

@Llola Lane "A STAR is Born!" Lovely render but now I'm wondering; which came first the star or the egg?

Thanks for the comments nattaruk... I leave it to the viewer's imagination ;)

"tribute to sun and her sisters
    you lifegiving stars
I thank you for my existence
Sun, I thank you for you for your daily shine on me
without any thanks, you keep on shining on us
despite it was many thousand years ago they worshipped you
and forgot you and taken new dieties
I thank you for giving life to earth at the same time do it with beauty
on the worst cloudy day,you still manages to shine thru with beautiful "Godrays"
so many great summers and spring and falls and
when winter is here I think of you are busy giving southern hemisphere a great summer
    ,beautiful sunsets and sunrise"

    Mach25

I tried to make render live up to the above text and made 6+ different kinds of stars + Sun and tried to position some stars to become a star constellation

This is perfect  .... I'm lovin' the newspaper... I see some of the type is in french or something.. I was trying to read the side story... lol.  Is the paper a template or did you make it?  Love the tagline "The newspaper that gives you the facts as we invent them"  lol.. too funny.  Oh and the artwork is awesome too.  The expression on the lady's face is priceless!  Thanks for sharing.

    @deeleelaw57  thank you!

@Llola Lane   Superb idea and an excellent realisation! Wow! Two stars this month we are lucky!

The newspaper is from Modern Modules it's an older PC+ set by Ravnheart  and the texture of the newspaper is a bit small so I increased it (which degraded the sharpness of the print) and placed my own image and title so the name of the newspaper is untouched, I thought it worked very well with my image.

Always a pleasure seeing everyone's creative takes on the same subject. Not sure how creative this is, but here's mine:

Some star shaped props, Star 2.0 and of course, the biggest star of them all *ahem* - Ducky!
