    Four could be self inflicted as it looks to be at home, very well done nattaruk.

    Good thinking there @nattaruk. Nice one!

    @Linwelly Thanks :) He sure is thinking of.. things. Ideas he may or may not have goten from the books and pages.

    @mach25 He may be, yes. He's a travelling/adventuring bard after all and stories of (finding) hidden treasure work well with most audiences.

    @deeleelaw57 He may be, yes ;)

    As I mentioned in the sister thread at PFDLives, real life has been interferring with art this month. I've been lurking, and I just wanted to say how much fun it was to see what you folks came up with this month. Very well done, by all.

    @deeleelaw57, that's an interesting photo above the mantel. Is the man in the chair one of the players in the photo?

    @mach25, that is a very large, pink, diamond. Very nice colors. Sort of a gritty, yet cotton-candy feel…

    @Linwelly, this is a stunning image with wonderful lighting and great contrast between the model's dark coloring and the light-colored stone and pearls.

    Llola Lane, what a creative way to avoid sports, cards, and the iconic diamond stone. Love the DOF!

    @mori_mann, that's a goodlooking elf, but he seems distracted by something beyond our view. Makes me really curious to know what he's looking at!

    @nattaruk, I don't need to know the story to see this is a detective, (private, I think,) who is intent on unraveling a mystery. What an interesting way to outline the diamond on the map, too.

    I didn't have time to do an image for both threads, so I posted my almost-too-late image over at PFDLives. (If you aren't signed up over there, you can see the image on my DA page here.)

    It does look like one of those squarish shuriken, doesn't it?

    Frankie Gets a New Heart

    You got me a new heart. Yes new and fresher than the last one. As soon as this passing storm fully charges the dynamo we'll crack you open, install and activate. You should be good to go for a least 150 to 200 years. Providing you stay out of the local village. The folks still have not forgiven you for last time. I tell you Doc the fire was not my fault, it was that darn cow.

    Nice hearts there :)

    Combined mine with a challenge I set myself some time ago: add a white marking to an existing horse texture. That, and I have a heart for horses, but.. it was about the shape, wasn't it?

    I didn't make the whole texture :) I only added the marking. I've done recolouring, adding and removing details on (human figure) skins before. This was my first time editing an animal skin.

    Hi all,

    Thanks for the comments about Death and the Compass

    @bigh yes

    @deeleelaw57 Good idea, although she doesn't look over thrilled at the prospect of a new heart.

    @mori_mann Lovely horse.

    This started as something completely different but took on a life of its own. FireBLooD's tribute to the great Sheer Heart Attack by Queen.

    Super job Llola Lane and stirred up some old memories for me. When I was around 9 years old I took a deck of playing cards and  glued them together 3 thick. My mom helped cut them in heart shapes. I attached 2 to each to the forks on my bike with the points turned into the wheel. It made a lot of noise but not as much as my father when he discovered we used his favorite lucky deck of cards. When he came after me I quickly sold mama down the river.
