Man, I hate to tell you that https://www.daz3d.com/bundhosen-outfit-for-genesis-8-males is now on sale.

I do have the long johns... They are too dated for me. They just don't fit as well as I would like.

On the subject of Men's clothing, Oskarsson's https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-supervillain-costume-for-genesis-8-males looks really nice. I love the drape of the cloak. The mask could also work for a stylized bank robber getup. There are two additional headgear options. One is a Cyclops-style eye mask, and a full-sized helmet.

Tribal Warrior King is a fantasy-style outfit with a Celtic-theme. I like the fur on the shoulder brace, and edging on the boots. Unfortunately, I think this looks kind of doughy and undermodelled. The pants and boots in particular look strangely modern as does the choker.  The good news is if you hide the boots and pants you can have an okay piece of skimp wear- from the front at leastwink if you can deal with the distorted elements.

The boots might also work nicely for winter gear.

I was excited to see the Chairman outift in the store, because men's suits are in short supply... well... hmmm.. not sure what is going on with the crotch, but the crotch combined with the distortion and pokethrough are a big no for me.

Yes, I saw! I wrote a ticket asking for a store credit. If they do, fine & if they don't fine, as I bought them because I wanted them.

Is that using the supplied materials? Looks like a plastic suit. Or a rayon fabric Halloween costume (my complaint about parts of the dirndl material sets)

The texture expansion. This is one of the color options.

DZ G8M FaZhion Set 8 was released today. It is a pair of shorts, and a nice shirt with a cool retro feel.  Tons of mat zones, and a very nice masculine look and feel. The textures rely on fill shaders but I think this set could really shine even more with better mats (such as stripes on the shorts), logos and seems and stitching details. I think that is dzheng's one weakness... Lack of really good textures. Nevertheless, I do like this set, in fact, I love the shaping and modeling. I may try my hand at making textures, since it really could use them. Nevertheless, this is my favorite of his recent work.  The blue is his default texture. The Red: I tried to do something with red shaders... .just to show the variety of mat zones. But... Alas, fill shading I think just doesn't do this set justice.

Boyd horses around on the rope swing. He is wearing the last Dzheng shorts with a polynesian fabric shader. The set is from the Swing and Tree set... But I replaced the ground shader from the V176 https://www.daz3d.com/v176-iray-ground-textures-5  since from this angle, it looked undetailed. If you haven't checked out those shaders yet, please do. Great set.

The Chairman is the one I used for "A rose arbor wedding"; it's a dForce suit that does not mention this fact anywhere on the product page. I stumbled across the settings completely by accident. I had to file a ticket for the suit for a different issue -- the black preset applied G3M base materials to the character as well as applying colors to the set itself (it's been fixed) -- and suggested that they should add the information to the product page, but they never did.

I did wind up abandoning the jacket for that render. It might have worked if I'd simmed the other parts, frozen them, and then simmed the jacket, but I didn't think of it at the time. It does look a lot better with dForce than without.

well, it certainly looks better on your character than mine! laugh

I did pull Owen out and tried to dforce the outfit. No love, the set and suit exploded after taking an every long time to get started. I'm not feeling the love.

If anyone has CC Zophael, can you tell me if the red devil version loads for you without errors (the character preset).

There's a thread about that somewhere in here. The red devil version has some sort of error call that I can't remember. ChangelingChick said that an update is already uploaded and waiting for approval.

EDIT: ah, here it is: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/396651/i-m-having-issues-with-cc-zophael-tail/p1

Dforce Streetblade... Loaded, simulated and we get weird puffiness, double crotch and linebacker shoulders. I'm not sure why you would dforce leather, as it tends to be stiff to begin with, but, nope, don't like it. This is like the flight suit we got a while ago. Just fitting and simulating weirdly. The blades are cool though. This would be a return for me though if it wasn't bundled.

Sci-Fi Retro space suit with red texture from expansion. I like it. Reminds me of the old pulps of yesteryear and flash Gordan. Boyd and Owen will definitely be wearing this in the days to come for some cheesy old-fashioned science fiction scene. the gun parents nicely, and overall nice fit.

This is extremely cool. It is sci-fi Assassin. The whole outfit has a very nice polished look to it, and I love the mask. The texture expansion is well worth the money.

Thank you thank you thank you for making a wonderful suit at last! https://www.daz3d.com/q-suit-for-genesis-8-males hats off to you Anna Benjamin and Mada, for the wonderful Q suit!  If you aren't fond of yellow, you can purchase the texture expansion or some shaders, and make this outfit look more mundane or less so, depending on your taste. Includes a open and shut morph, and a removable tie. this is Great stuff!

Another set, that fails the dforce test for me. It is a 70's retro jumpsuit dForce Moonage Outfit ala david Bowie. Dforce was not kind... And the bolero top and puffy pants just went all mc hammer in the center, producing scary crotch. I don't know why the displacement is so odd on the guys with certain dforce clothing, but, it just doesn't fit well to begin with. Adding dforce just is so much worse. As usual your mileage can vary, this is just me, loading the outfit, and hitting simulate, with a fairly simple pose. Even the top area, just looks like a very large woman's bikini. Definitly odd looking on Owen.

Forest Guardian Outfit came with Ollie 8, and althought I don't like Ollie, I really do like some of his content. This would be great for a fairy render or something from Peter pan. Lots of attention to detail, and the leaf ornaments look really cool.  I realized I have never rendered this one, so decided to pull it out and give it a test run.

Duncan hair rides high on Owen, and lacks a male hairline, and is more unisex. The style is similar to hair made for Genesis 1. It might be good for a cartoony render, but it doesn't impress me. Might be good for an anime/manga style figure.

Wave hair is a realistic style I actually like. This hair is definitely worth a look, it has a good hairline, nice flow, and fun styling.

so far the q suit, the wave hair, and the retro sci-fi suit are worth a purchase. I can't use the other three items.

Dasan is a nicely done character. Lots of detail in the skin, and the HD morphs are pretty good. Love all the wrinkles. There is an older Harrison ford Vibe with this character to me.

The Q Suit promo shows both black and yellow suit textures. Are both included in the Q Suit product?

Well I think it's more a super hero, villian, or even more, a sci-fi space suit with the sci-fi space suit's helmet (I know there is skin exposure on a zero gravity suit but that's comic books for you)

    Only neon yellow.

Texture expansion has gray, blue, pink, and green. Mat zones appear decent so should be easy enough to recolor.
