Well everyone is really quiet...I take that as a bad sign I guess.........????

Nice art. I like the cats. Don't worry about people not responding to your posts: people rarely reply to my thread too. Keep up the good work.

LOL! Okay folks, remember the Art studio threads are more a portfolio type thing that most people just look at. You need to ask for comments and hints and tips before many will respond to the threads. Sure some threads look more like Blogs than portfolios and that all comes from how the creator set the thread up and how they use it. I'm here everyday, I look everyday but I do not post everyday. If I see a question I normally respond, if I really enjoy a image I might respond and I might not. So remember, you as the creator of a thread have more control of your threads than you think. Believe me when I say it's hit and miss, sometimes it will seem like your wasting your time and others you get more replies than you have time to answer.

The displacement on the Leather parts under the fringe is poking through. That would be hard to fix I think. But you could try turning the Displacement Max number down on that material zone. If thats no help try lowering the Brest size of the Figure a little bit. Some items SAY they morph well but really don't.

I agree, it's a lovely portrait. Hope you can fix the top but really it's her face we're drawn to in any case. I like her hair too, looks more natural than many of the hairstyles around. Is it the same one that your avatar wears?

Thank you....sometimes I just get lucky... with Darkside ...used 3spotlights on her... one white ..one lt. blue....and one lt. skin color... and I didn't even add the lip or make-up options....and yes she does have the same hair as my avatar... its this one... but I got it on sale....I get stuck on using one hair that I like... even though I own others..LOL Thank you for visiting...no one said anything about my half naked guy though????....LOL

Very quick lighting mini help, I hope. You can use the Viewport drop down to LOOK through a light like it is a camera to help set it up. Just pick the light from the list, then use Parameters or the Viewport position controls to move the light into place. Then go back to your render camera and use the Scene and the Surfaces tab to edit the lights settings as needed. Here I am looking through the Speed Light SUN to see where it falls in my scene. The Menu does not stay open I just did that to show you how to use it.

I will say I don't like this hair in the pro bundle I can't find a fix to get it away from her neck...other than... that so far... she is ok ...maybe.. I don't know.. what do you think???? Why won't they make a guy that looks like Johnny depp now that would be some real fun or a young Robert Redford......Wishing and Wanting and Hoping are 3 different things.....

Nice. GF2 has been my default of late.as most of my renders end up going via 3DS Max and GF2 skin seems to work the best of the bunch after the trip to the dark side.

For what I do there isn't really enough every day wear in original G2F so I tend to use more Genesis wardrobe which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't after export.

The main issue with GF2 seems to be Shrink Wrapped Breasts Syndrome with anything other than G2F wardrobe. Reducing ample proportions and using the modifier helps a fair bit though.

Within DAZ the smoothing characteristics of GF2 seem very aggressive. Any hand contact with jeans on legs and the like sees fingers and hands enveloped like a shot.

Although I have no plans to get this character, I think you're getting something nice from her here. The hair falling against the neck just gives an impression of gravity to me.

Now.... as to the 'full meal deal', what can I say but "very tasty"! He's like a male Lady Godiva, hiding his modesty with those flowing locks of hair. :) Good to see you got such great results with that purple outfit too, even if you had to take him to Bryce.

Talking of Johnny Depp, there's an Asian character you might like who will soon be released. Did you see this thread? http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/34152/

There is a LARGE collection of Look a like morphs on Rendo, I'm pretty sure JD is one of them. They can get pricey though. And thank you for the B-Day wishes. Having nice day.

Moving on from this comment I have done some side by side work now with GF2, GF and V4 and have to conclude GF2 is by far the best. The torso, rib, and abdomen sculpting alone put it head and shoulders above the others. There are other more subtle variations which you don't otherwise notice until you put the two side by side and then conclude "No, it does look better".

I'll not be wasting any more of my time going back now.
