:-)Yep, definitely going for the dark, night club look. I would have liked the spotlights on Ashley brighter, but I had them cranked all the way up to 200% and that's as bright as they get. Watching the new Metallica movie, Through the Never, showed that the lighting I have here is perfectly realistic.
Well, the candles inside the pumpkin heads shows there is brightness in the room. That room is black light all over the place...lol.

Some nice new entries, but need more!
I was only going to do one entry this month, but thought about the silhouette NAE from last month and decided to try something like it in DS instead of postwork. I still had to do some postwork stuff to make the actual backdrop, since I couldn't find any freebie backgrounds that would've worked for what I needed.
I think I've used the backdrop option in DS maybe a handful of times in all these years. It's an interesting option; I just keep forgetting it's there. My background ended up a little distorted along the horizontal axis, and maybe I should've applied the background image to a primitive plane instead. Oh well. Live and learn and all that.

What a super cool entry. Bagpipes?...interesting. I love the expression on her face and the general setting in the tin shed. It's a dark setting, yet you can see everything fine. Just a real nice entry. I love the way you listed your content. Very understandable. Thanks.

WOW!...Kalazar...good to see you. Glad you decided to come play. Love the entry. Adam's Boss guitar is great. I made a freebie set of textures for it, offering you the most saught out Fender custom colors and models of Telecasters available. One of them is the famed "1968 Pink Paisley Tele" made originally for James Burton of Elvis Presley's band. Also, Brad Paisley plays one now. I also made two textures for the guitar case. One is the old black tolex case used for years, the other is a tweed case texture used in the 1950s and earley 1960s. You can get both of these for free here:

Looks kinda like a Tim Burton scene! Worked very well for DS. Though the rules say you must be able to see stuff clearly...in this case, you can see everything where it should be for the freebie. Thank you, music. Happy to know I didn't bend the rules too far there. Changing everything to pitch black was fun -- and had the added benefit of hiding some of the scarier arm bends on the Deco/Maybe/Decoco figures. Whew.
Surely t' goodness everybody remembers these two! Why, it's ol' Lester Fatts and Earl Sluggs! Two of th' best, gall-darn pickers what ever drawed a breath! They was loved by millions on th' radio, records, movies and tee-vee. There wern't a time when a person could walk down th' street an' not hear one of thair songs a'comin' outta somewheres nears-by. An' look who's with 'em! It's li'l Junie May Ledbetter! She was th' county champion fiddle player of the Junior Division...or least wise she was up until that awful tractor pull incident back in '63. I'm sure we all remember that sad day at the County Fair. They've all been gone for years now, but if you wuz t' go out by the ol' Northridge Hollow Cemetery, right at about the end of October and the wind is a blowin' just right...you kin almost hear them playing by the light of that ol' country moon. Least wise, that's what my ol' Maw used t' tell me...I'm just sayin'...
