I haven't had any problems with the Avast reading it wrong.
Using Vipre and so far no problems
OMG!....We were on the second page in the forum! In three phases, we have never left the first page! We are slipping ya'll.
:yikes:
We can't have that! Now you need to get out more often!
Well lets see if we can keep from slipping onto the second page, here are some shots I did recently of my newly redone Retro Deuce.
And here are the Deuces wild!
OK, here on for you. 1967 Dodge Coronet 440. Poser Pro 2012 render.
Betsy...I love that old flathead v8. Also the toon element in the renders is very cool. The way her reflection in the door turned out in the bottom render. You could do your own comics!
NICE!
Cherokee...love that Dodge! I got this one but havn't had time to convert it. Been real busy with RL stuff. Looks pretty good here.
:-)
I found a 60s Corvair 95 rampside pickup at the warehouse last night. Gonna see how it looks. Has a motor, flip up engine deck, doors open, side deck ramp, nice tire treads, and I think it has a rear tailgate that will lower also if I rig it too. Got a few more new cars from sketchup. I will post some renders after conversions.
Get it here: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=ua4f89f54-2141-471e-905e-c658acce69c9
:-)
Actually, that isn't so much a toon element, as it is an ink sketch effect, making it more of a piece of art than just a simple render.
Don't you just love to drive a cop crazy on a Sunday Morning, here Officer Stadanko was about to end his shift when along come these two yayhoos having a drag race down Elm St.!
Uh-Oh not good mad cop and I think he got the license numbers
Well, I worked with the 60s Corvair 95 Rampside this morning. Got it converted and added some shaders. Not the best mesh but very versitile with all the doors and ramps opening. A few zone problems but way minor. Detailed engine and tranny. Overall looks ok.
:-)
I got that same model, wasn't happy with the mesh at all, but may have a use for the engine somewhere down the line, there is just too much wrong with the body for me to use it, it would have been better had someone made the Corvair car!
The Deuce however, I can never get enough of!
A bit of History or trivia

Very solid job on the first one indeed. I'm not a great lover of the cartoon shader version but the top one is great.
I used to have both of these models when I was a kid. Was one of my favs (along with the Boot Hill Express model).
:-)
Anyone remember the Raider Coach? For Paul Revere and the Raiders. Look at the size of the back tires...lol. Also the drums inside and the old Vox speaker cabnets on the front part side. It was another Barris creation. I had this model kit also.
:-)
Here is a VERY RARE car...the MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. CAR!...not many know they had their own spy car! It was called the Piranha 3.
:-)
Latest go at it... The Vincent is an older model - required a wee bit of work to get it decent in Daz.. chose it as many moons ago (say 45 years or so - one of my bikes was a Vinny..)
Looks a bit like the cars from UFO.
Sue is having a fit of Mo-Par madness!
hey guys. i just got daz studio and i can't get my sketchup models to import into daz/ can you help me?
That's because you can't import .skp files into DS, you need to convert the files to .obj!
i tried that betsy and some of the parts were missing
Okay, just before you export the obj, from Sketchup, hit the edit menu, go down to select all, and once you have selected all, then try exporting.
Super-Charger!
ok i will try that thanks
WOW!...I just love the tilt front on the Fury....awesome!
:-)
