'59 Blue Apache.
Still love my Doug Mason '55 Chevy Belair. One of a kind it was.
...nice work there.
Always amazed at the conversions from other formats. Never could get the process down myself. Hex can import .3ds and .stl, but without any textures or material zones (and Hex's UV mapping is not all that great). Really wish Daz had native .3ds import.
Bryce does as does anim8tor (freebie).
:-)
Sweeet.
:-)
Fast?....

... I know Bryce can read and import .3ds .dae, and .lwo complete with textures, but how would you preserve those textures and Mat zones on a saved.obj for export to Daz?
Don't know. I don't use Bryce much, but I know it does work great with Daz Studio. I did a dance render with the two together.
Also this one too...Daz Owl and Lion...rendered in Bryce 7.5.
Summer is coming! Get out your wheels.
:-)
...ahhh, Summer, nothing like a pretty girl and, a hot set of wheels in the sun.
(Music, you asked for it)
Great render Kyoto! She looks so happy.
Hey...wait...that's the first Radio-Flyer wagon I have ever seen in blue! They are all red! Mess up my mind!...lol.
Also...I love the way the wide back wheels on the bike have the worn line in the middle of them where the molding had a ring on the tire. This line would wear down first, then the tire would wear. Just awesome realistic.

Hello?....(crickets).....anybody there?
Mus, that scene with the VW and the hot chick, I had that scene at one time myself, and since I reformatted my computer, haven't been able to find it again, I know it was a freebie, what scene is that?
Speaking of hot chicks!
Some very nice work here - but as a retired railroader that scene with the tracks makes me shiver.. That's the sort of thing you never want to see out the cab windshield.. Here's one I've been working on...
I have had that scene forever...lol. I will try to find it for you and give a link here to it. Give me a day or two.
Hot chick of yours is a red head...gotta love them to like em'. I'm a brunette man myself. (as you can see my VW girl).

I imagine! These are a set of old loading tracks behind an old company closed down for many years. The tracks have not been used in years. The wood is coming up, there are no signs at all and a gate is at one end, a switch track at the other. No need to worry.
Love your render work.
:-)
Ok...I have tried to remember where I got this scene from but can not. I went through a thousand read mes to try to find it. When I load it in Daz, it seems to come up as "backyard". It is a very low poly scene and loads immediately. It came with some other options. A parking lot ground was one of them. Here is a few shots of it with options. I can not find any info on it.
:cheese:
I was just lurking this thread (as I love car renders) and saw this.
I'm pretty sure that's from sharecg. The artists name is on the top of my nose but I can't quite remember.
Hopefully it will hit me later. I think he had an add on for that too.
UPDATE: This is what I was thinking of:
http://www.sharecg.com/v/42163/related/11/Poser/The-Streets-Part-04
Either it was part of that scene, and he deleted it, or I had them mixed up.
Ah well. then.. as you say no worries.. just seen a few too many close calls.. I do like the way you got the photo background set up, and the way it integrates with the characters and props - something I will have to try out - thanks for the inspiration!

Nope that is not it. I found this render at sharecg and it IS the model. They said it was "Sunny Backyard" by Red Viper. I tried to find it there but could not.
Here you go...it's called "Private Beach".... http://www.sharecg.com/v/77090/browse/1/3D-and-2D-Art/Private-Beach
Update: Well, I'm not sure about that now.

I have the model took me forever to find it and no it's not at ShareCG anymore I looked under all three names that he has used there
You might try contacting him by email and see if it's available elsewhere He's in Malaysia so he might have stuff on one of the Asian sites
Looks like I started something here, I didn't expect that that one scene would generate so much activity on the forum, maybe I can find it in my archived software somewhere, I'm sure I still have it somewhere, finding it is the only problem, I used to use the scene all the time.
New For 1968
I lurk around here a bit, but somehow I missed this thread.
Here's one I did a few years back with Carrara, can't exactly remember if it was Pro 5 or Pro 6.
Background is the free Harvest Church 01 hdr.
...that is really nice. Forgot that one can get near photographic quality with Carrara's render engine.
Lifes a Beach!
Nice stuff Betsy...I like New For 68 best!
