Hey guys...13 more pages and we go into hyper mode "Mark IV"...LOL. That's 4 complete 100 page turnovers since page 1 of Mark 1.

Also, we have stayed on the first page here through it all. That's good!

WE LOVE OUR CARS AND BIKES!

I know I know! But then, that is the first decent flathead I've found anywhere, and that one is on the warehouse!

I know...I've got it. You just have to make a higher motor support bracket and raise it, the headers will cover the gap.

It's still very much a work in progress, as it seems I can never get done with that Deuce!

I got it. Haven't opened it yet. The promos show it to be a low poly model. No engine I don't think. The photos used for textures don't match up very good. Look at the promo shot of the interior taken through the driver window...under the dash...it put a photo texture of one of the tire rims. The color of the car is horrific! I am gonna see what I can do with this. Hopefully it will turn out ok.

    Thanks for the link Robert.

Looks like you got the engine in the Deuce up some. The headers?...are they for six cylinders...that flathead has 8. Looks a lot better with the engine not dragging the ground.

That is true, the flathead does have 8 cylinders, however, it only had six exhaust ports, so the headers are correct.

WOW...I didn't know that. My uncle had a flathead v8 in his 1950 Ford. As many times as I hung out under the hood with him...I never noticed this. Live and Learn.

I remember hearing and reading about those, strangely enough, the 4 track tape player was already available when Chrysler put those record players into their cars, but they weren't really for road use either, they didn't work well when you were driving down the road, they were put in as an accessary for partying at picnics and at the beach and such.

He says to check the muffler bearings, if that doesn't work, check the air in the tires, if that doesn't work, check the loose nut behind the wheel!

I really like the "59 Chevy Apache" a page back in the thread. A real beauty... and well lit/set up.

Here's a render including a dirty old jeep [Edit: Landrover] in a setting.
