Sadly the samurai (name of my old comp...no really it had a name) is dead. his brain may still be readable, but I would have to remove it and bring it in to some one, and have them do a data transfer.
Anyway thank you Kendall for the offer.Just get an external hard drive case for it and put the old computer's hard drive in that. It's not hard. I had to do that when my old G4 died. You can then plug the hard drive into the new computer via a USB or Fire Wire connection.

Unfortunately, that often happens anyway. When I should be sleepy, I'm not. And even when I am, it takes quite a while to fall asleep when I go to bed. Then I wake up often. Then I feel like crap when I want to get up and snooze the alarm. Sometimes I sleep right through it. Other times, I just fell asleep finally and the alarm goes off. It's frustrating, to be sure.

Try cut back on he carbs. I try to avoid "fast" carbs since about two years back. One unexpected effect is that I fall asleep when my head hit the pillow, most times.

Sweetums,, you didn't have to. The VA has been doing quite a fine job of not quite balancing my meds against why I need them so I wind up in some rather amusing - or unamusing on occasion - states. Not knowing who I am, where I am and, on occasion, when I am at odd moments can be just downright hilarious.

Thanks. 67 and counting. Each year is a celebration of survival and outliving "certain people" from my childhood & young teen years. I'm still here and even the youngest of them isn't.
