    @fishtales  That must have taken some time to do! Quite nice.

    I got the purple banner so doubled the offer. I bought early after the store first turned over, because everything was working and I didn't want to take a chance on it going wonky later. :)  I went over the 30.00 in each section so you won't see "free" except for the Genesis 8 Pro Bundle. First time ever I sat out and waited, and Jenny didn't take long to go free so I saved $35-$46 (whatever her lowest discount)

    Three days and that was in between doing RL things :)  Each render for the layers only took minutes to render the hardest bit was putting them all together in VEGAS Pro and getting the settings right for each layer for them to mesh together.

    Back in May 2019 I did a Content Package Assist Tutorial. I looked at it recently because I am doing a lot of packages this year, going to tackle the other store's products. I realized that tutorial was old, that I'd found a better way of handling it if someone has a lot of files. Sometimes you may speed along doing the packages, but may not have time to install and categorize. So I've broken it down into different folders to "store" the products and I know what is left to be done. The entire tutorial has been rewritten, take a peek at it. 

    Example, here's the best way I've found to do folders when I start/stop a lot for real life. I put the ! in front of the folders so they go this way alphabetically and are in the order I need them to be.  

    Store A  (main folder)
            !CPACK DO   (sub folder)      This makes it so easy to grab the files to use in Content Package Assist. Each product has its own folder, by the                                                                                purchase date. If there is more than one order I put a space then add the last four digits of the order number on the end.
                  Jan 12 2020   (sub folder)
                  Jan 14 2020   (sub folder)
                  Jan 29 2020   (sub folder)
            !CPACK DONE
                   Jan 6 2020   (sub folder)  Because it's in DONE I know the product has a package made and is waiting in DIM. NOT INSTALLED.
             CPACK ALL DONE   Because it's in ALL DONE I know the product IS INSTALLED, in Content Library in Categories. Nothing more to do.  You can then                                                             make folders such as 2018, 2019, 2020 and put the orders in them.

                         Jan 2  2020 (sub folder)
                    

    And again, this is in the Reference section on the first page of this thread under tutorials- Content Package Assist so you can find it anytime.

    @Novica, You may want to contact CS. With the Purple banner, you get TWO Pro bundles for free, one from the sales page and one from the banner. I got both Jenni 8 and Leisi 8. (I only realized that because they were talking about it in the sales thread.)

    I passed on the extra textures, getting the HD Addon and two characters to meet my 3 Addon target. Then I went over in two of the four categories, but not by much. I went a tiny bit crazy on the $2.20 products, though, using the code to discount those to $1.76 each.

    @ladair  Thanks, I did know that but the only bundles (Pro) I dont have, I have 99% of them as individual products, and for one,  it was a pose set I wouldn't use anyway. It was Keiko 6 I think.  I did see that in the sales thread too and glad they're pointing it out.

    I do have a question though- if you buy a pro bundle that you already have most of the products, does DIM just ignore the products that are repeats?  How does Product Library handle it?

    Yes, DIM just shows the additional products in Ready To Download and Connect likewise only shows the new stuff in Available or in the Install pane (assuming the rest is installed already).

    I have several pro and other sorts of bundles that I obtained all the products in the bundle or pro bundle without buying the bundle or pro bundle itself. That's particularly true of older starter, pro, or other bundles that DAZ 3D has given away as freebies over the years, the most recent being Gianni 6 Starter Bundle on 23 Dec 2019.

    There is not even such a thing as a package for the pro bundle as a product itself but the way you know you have at least one pro bundle is that the anatomical elements for that sex & generation of Genesis is in your list of downloads and since those are the same for all pro bundles of the same sex for the same Genesis generation it's not really a reliable indication of which pro bundles you have bought and which you haven't bought. Likewise with Starter bundles and other types of bundles.

    Thanks! I didn't realize you got 2! I had no interest in Dain, but the deal is so worth it! The two pro bundles I'm getting, I originally passed on because the deal then sucked. It pays to wait! laugh

    @ladair  You mentioned you had the baby from another site.  I used content package assist to load it, and when I go to the Genesis 8 Female Characters, I can find the Sixus1 folder but it just leads to materials. When I check the readme, it has those exact same files under Characters>Genesis 8 Female> Sixus1  so I put them there too. I only get the materials, nothing is turning Genesis 8 into a baby. Can you check and see where you have the baby files in the character section? Can't figure out what is going wrong, because I am manually checking every file path too. But nothing is transforming G8F, just her materials, as expected. :(

    I, like you, installed Sixus using content package assist. I checked and have the same problem - only materials. If I execute the file from the zip folder, however, I get the baby character. It looks like the icon under Characters is pointing to the wrong file: there's two with the same names, one under characters and one under characters/materials and it's calling the latter.

    I have it but haven't installed it yet. From the file structure it looks like it is just a morph for G8F. Did you try loading G8F and look at the morphs for it in the shaping tab?

    I'd installed the baby manually. When I just looked, it appeared some things were missing, so I reinstalled. Even then the files for the character were missing. That's using 'drag and drop' from the top level of the archive to the library folder. (I keep products purchased elsewhere in their own directory.) I had to separately drag those three files into the correct folder for them to show up.

    I don't know, but maybe if you named the files in the character folder and the files in the materials folder slightly different? Like add an "!" to the front of the materials files? Just guessing. I'd expect them to still work correctly.

    I got it to work but for everyone else's reference- it helps to have the ReadMe open and you can look at the file list with one shrunk window (you know, so the windows don't overlap so when you click on something the other doesn't poof!)  and the file in explorer. There are indeed some problems with these IIRC, they weren't under Characters. All I got was the part where it went Characters THEN materials. So be aware you'll need to fix the Characters files.

    There were also the problems that Rich mentioned. If anyone gets stuck trying to install the baby, it's not YOU. The product is faulty. I suggest that if you have it, you try installing it and get it setup so you won't go bonkers later.  Just use the ReadMe and make the folders match what that structure is, and delete / move files that don't match it.

    Here's what your Characters should look like. Hope this helps and saves you some time. This stupid thing took me an hour and a half to figure out, with uninstalling and reinstalling, then making a new package twice. Grrrr.

    Hey, did you notice the views are gone and it says they are COMMENTS?  I can't possibly have 2.2K comments on this thread! 

     I happened to write down all my threads a week ago as I was curious, thank goodness. If you go to Art Studio, are you seeing the number of views?  Wow, this is whacky.

    Not until you mentioned it. My dForce thread was at 99.6K views the other day, now it shows 980 comments. I guess comments does give you a better sense of how long a thread is. I have 980 in 33 page, so 2.2K in 74 makes sense.

    Here's a quickie of the lil darlin'   That's a ruffle top from the other site and it went on like a breeze. Be sure if you're categorizing to get the poses (in Poses) etc. Frankly, this one wasn't very good at all. I did a lot of tweaking. Don't know about the rest of them.

    Hmmm. Ya know, when they do things the next day to make it prudent to NOT have bought the day before, seems to be a routine here. But you should never assume what the promo SAYS is what the promo is. Don't know if it's because I DID buy the Pro Bundle the day before, but if you did- put the Fantasy Bundle in your cart.  End of discussion. Literally.  Edit- well,  mere seconds after I posted, they took off all discounts on the fantasy bundle and it shows full price in the gallery. (No they didn't read it here and take it off, I'm talking mere seconds!)  Don't know what putting it in the cart does now. So apparently I caught something in transit that only lasted a minute or two.

    You should have a purple banner if you bought Dain pro bundle yesterday. It gives you an extra 40% instead of 20% on the fantasy bundle.

    Yes, some items have lost their base discounts right now.

    I looked before I posted :)   I don't have the banner but I should, and it wasn't in messages either. I'll go see if it's been added, and try a hard refresh.  That would make the price I got correct I think. I'll have to calculate.

    It seems we've found a common denominator- if you used the previous three coupon on the 27th, is the current get three things working for you? The creepers code?  It worked for me but I did NOT use the previous one.

    And sigh, still having issues with things I am installing from the other site. So we found glitches in The Baby, now take a look at this and tell me where the products should show up? They are under Content, so that is correct. They are where they are supposed to be (I manually checked) but nothing is showing up in studio. I refreshed and refreshed and restarted. SIGH. It's for Poser but supposed to work for Daz Studio with only "minor tweaks."  Assuming that was only for materials.

    I just want to point out, this issue has been fixed. If you tried THREEPERS-CREEPERS before and got the error message, try again. At least at the moment I'm writing this, the banner is still active.

    (Sorry if this is like teaching grandma to suck eggs, but...) I presume there is no metadata for those things, so they wouldn't be in Smart Content. If you are using Content Library, then I presume you are looking under "Poser Formats" to find them?
