@Nath, I am not sure if you ever got a reply in 2017 to your question if the 'Old Chapel' has doors, but I just bought it and yes it does. They do not have an open morph though. I expect someone could figure out how to do it, above my skill level though. Even the outside is textured.

I don't think I ever did, but that's good to know. There's bound to be instructions somewhere about creating open morphs.

@rgcincy did something with opening doors, IIRC correctly?

It has been mentioned on the sale thread, but if you don't pop in to there- you DO have new codes for today to get $10 and $30 off DOs- and can use both codes in two separate orders. The first order, one of the ones I picked up is  dForce Autumn Bloom Outfit even though it's stupid IMO to have open toe shoes with a fall outfit. Then for the $10 one, I got the textures for 97 cents. I like the way the top dForms, it flows over the lap, and I can always use different shoes. And...well, it's free so why not?

Novica! I picked it up too, along with the character and texture set. I loved the way it dForced.

Wondering when and if bell bottoms will ever go back in style...  Cool for retro renders though!

So this has worked out pretty well, $80 in free stuff over 2 days. I have sooo many characters and clothes that I went for offbeat stuff, a steampunk time machine and this...

Great choices- I scooped up those vases recently too. I believe there's also another style that goes with them IIRC. Floral perhaps.

I'm loving the coupons too - yesterday I picked up a Gen 8 Pro Bundle for $12.50 with the $30 coupon and got two pose sets from Fastgrab for nothing with the $10 one.
Today I picked up another Gen 8 Pro Bundle for $12.50 and another two Fastgrabs (clothing and a character) for only $3.50.
All are things I didn't "need" but at those prices I couldn't resist.

    AQ Freya (G3F / G8F)      Sonia Hair (G3F / G8F)     dForce Daytime Noir (G8F)

dForce Daytime Noir outfit-  FIrst of all, you simply MUST take a look at this outfit and the TEXTURES. Those textures make this a totally different outfit! (aka, two pieces)  It's adorable!  The main promo shows it on a mature person, but it really has a sophisticated aura when the right character is wearing it. dForces beautifully, using default settings. No explosions.

I'm rendering out a few of the makeups for you, but not 100% as it takes about 45 minutes per render for the headshots.  For the face closeups, the lighting is the Pro-Studio HDRI and Light 14R. I'm using Mitchell Filter as usual. So...

About Freya I give the eye selection a "not too impressed."   The colors are so dark, they are indiscernible. The dark green looks black. There's no interesting elements in the eye, it's pretty solid, and I personally have a "meh" feeling about them. To each his own.

The makeup- Well, interesting. The vendor made the effort to give you different combinations, with the light and the dark eyebrows. There is a separate section for the lipstick, so you end up with a lot of presets, but the ability to add a different lip colorr. However, all the lip colors in this product are dark and red. There needs to be more variety.

I prefer separate eyeshadow and eyeliner options. The makeup is extremely harsh with only one (the natural) and one other that are gentle. It appears too painted on for me.

Skin- I like the settings of the skin, the neck does have a different texture/details. This reminds me more of a porcelain look, there's no major imperfections per se.  You can see a variation in skin patches, very slightly. That's with this lighting and your results will vary.  However, I don't like there's no blush options for makeup.

Eyebrows- like and dislike. The one on OUR left looks too neatly lawnmowered across the bottom, into a straight line. I KNOW eyebrows are asymmetrical but that one is waaay too different from the other one- you'll have to watch your angle. You do get a variety of eyebrows.  I like the options which have the hairs showing, some others look TOO painted on.

Sonia Hair- there are two adjustment options, one of which is moving the hair from the eye. I didn't expore Scene options. The colors are limited and I created my own by choosing blonde then adding a reddish brown to match the eyebrows.

So, taking a look at the Aquarius characters, if anyone else would like to render some of them. We've never featured that vendor per se. So next up, I will tackle Alva. Feel free to share any you've already got rendered, too.

This is what I mean by harsh- it's very strong, dark colored, no blending, not subtle. If that's what you want, most of the makeup for this gal is this way. You do have 1-2 softer options, see the two above,  but that's about it.

This is "Goth" and supposed to be harsh. When I think of Goth though, I don't think of cartoony eyebrows. Your opinions?

Wow, I would have never bought that character based on her store images but your renders look great.

AQ Alva HD  (G8F)       dForce Audacious Outfit (G8F)      Liberty Hair (G8F)

Unlike Freya, Alva has separate eyeliner options (Freya had none). The eyes appear to have a darker color around the rim (I am using the same lighting) and there's more of a variety of lip colors (including more mauves.)  The lips are very dry on both Alva and Freya, I'd introduce some metallicity into them and reflectivity. Showing you out of the box.  Going to show you a couple of the eyeshadows, which have more blending. There's another Goth, which I am not showing, you still get those cartoony eyebrows. While the main promo shows her with a pink blush (very subtle) it's not showing up at all in this lighting, and her skin looks natural.  (I hate painted on blush. There needs to be OPTIONS.)

The vendor got just the right shade for the teeth. No ultra Pepsodent smiles!  I don't however, like the gray fingernails at all. (Again, showing out of the box.)

Have some fun- the Audacious Outfit top has two different material zones down by the cuffs. I lowered the opacity of the section right above the cuffs, and made it transparent. Then I used Iray Skintastic Shaders Fur  to create leopard print on the cuffs and neckline. (Tiling 14)   I used the pale color for the Audacious Outfit then darkened it.  I looked at some of the materials for the shirt, and the red was really bright, and I found the stripes to be really big.

For lighting, try these in the render settings- Dome Y Orientation 120 and the X to 10 - 18.  (This is with the 14R of the Pro-Studio HDRI set again)

The hair has SO many morphs. EmmaAndJordi always lead the way with those. You can't ever go wrong with one of their hair products. Go take a look at the product page!  (Go on, you gotta see them!)

Edit- this shirt color is 98 62 48 when using the pale cream of the Audacious textures.

Note the spattering of freckles. Subtle, and cute! And again, the blush (in this lighting) seems quite natural.

@nonesuch00  Thank you. I think she really looks like a "common" gal, not like a model.

I have four of Aquarius characters: Freya that you showed, AQ Breeda for Bridget 8, AQ Yumi for Aiko 8, and Sase for Robyn 8. I will work on some renders of them, looking at the eyes and makeup like you did Novica.

@memcneil70  I've done Breeda and Yumi but please show yours too. I won't be posting until later this afternoon, for Breeda I used MoriKei outfit and Pretty Pixie Hair, for Yumi it is just a closeup so I used Karissa Hair. I didn't explore any makeup so if you can show that, and the eyes like you mentioned, that would be GREAT!

This post is from my desktop, Dragon, where I did https://www.daz3d.com/aq-breeda-for-bridget-8 in https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-courtney-outfit-for-genesis-8-females with a texture set from WildDesigns on the other store; the boots from https://www.daz3d.com/gayll-clothing-and-accessories-for-genesis-8-females, and https://www.daz3d.com/ainsley-hair-for-genesis-3--8-females. She has four eye colors, one I am not sure of maybe hazel (?), besides brown, blue and dark green; eight lip colors, with a range that can fit most normal clothing shades; makeup, one clean face option and seven eye makeups, some with more delicate fading, others with more dark and sharper contrast. The brows, look over plucked.

Then I did https://www.daz3d.com/aq-yumi-for-aiko-8 in https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-sweater-collection, the pants from https://www.daz3d.com/tarian-outfit-for-genesis-8-females, the boots from https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-winter-kisses-outfit-for-genesis-8-females, and https://www.daz3d.com/shock-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females. I have to say, I am pleased with the options in Shock Hair. I never really explored all the styling choices in it, or the colors, very versatile.

This is an anime character and so the options are different from a more relastic character. But the pursed lips drove me crazy, I could not add an expression to her face. I also tried closing her eyes at one point and something went really wrong, tearing on the face. I made a snip of that. I only tried to close them to see the affect of the makeup which was hard for me to see.

She has two eyelashes, which was nice. Four eye colors which are named out. The lips have a glossy and matt option, with six colors. Her ten makeups come with a no brow set and brow option. Her brows are okay. The first five seem to be eyeliners, but I am not sure. Then five distinct shadows, some very bright and distinct.

So I worked on https://www.daz3d.com/sase-for-robyn-8 on my laptop, Drake. I had her in https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-delilah-dress-for-genesis-8-females, the shoes from https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-aimy-style-outfit-for-genesis-8-females, and https://www.daz3d.com/lainey-hair-for-genesis-3-female-s-and-genesis-8-female-s. While the other renders didn't take long to render, these did. Not sure if it was the OOT hair or the lace but it worked out okay. Though the lace did stretch in the first pose and I had to reposition her for close-ups and resimulate the dress.

Sase is realistic, yet comes with one strange eye, yellow in black scelera. The other seven eye colors seem normal. Like Yumi, she has glossy/matt options for her lips and a no color, then nine colors, including a neon orange/red. There are two LIE blushes that I totally forgot about. A no makeup option, then eighteen makeups with extreme options. She does have 9 finger nail colors (which I just saw)! You can adjust the bump. I like her skin the best. Again that mouth.

Novica, this was an interesting exercise, thank you for letting me contribute.

@memcneil70  Thanks for showing all those. I, too, am not that impressed with the small mouth. For everyone- here's a tip for posing, which I've mentioned several times- under Parameters in the posing section, go to Head>Visemes, turn off the limits on the W and go negative after you try to pose the mouth. It relaxes the smiles and eliminates puckers, or most of them. I find it works better than "widen mouth."

And you know me, I really don't like ultra thin eyebrows! Posting mine in a few minutes, eating a quick sandwich and running back and forth to the kitchen nook. Ci Pwff is, for the first time, in with the other three dogs!  He's so frisky it's annoying to them, and there's been more than one growl and snapping by his elders when I put them together for a minute or two. I did that repeatedly about five times or more a day to introduce them. Today, Dibbs wasn't coming in (didn't even see him, hiding in the back in the bamboo looking for mice or lizards LOL) so I put Ci Pwff out and they just ran and ran and played. It was great. He is the most patient of all of them. (My Benji dog)

AQ Breeda (Bridget 8)        dForce Mori Kei Outfit (G8F)      Pixie Pretty Hair (G8F)

Breeda has a lightly wider mouth and poses more easily. The Mori Kei Outfit has a variety of materials so you can put together your own combination. I like the bottom teeth being slightly crooked.  So @memcneil70 showed you an elegant gal, this is a more spunky approach.

This is AQ Yumi  (Aiko 8)  with that really small mouth, as per being an Aiko 8 character,  with Karissa Hair (which we've featured numerous times already.)  I have to say I like the teeth on all the AQ (Aquarius) gals. They're not overly bright and there's variation.

So using the PC+ buy three and get 50% off, it made sense to grab two of the today's new releases (that puts them starting at 50% off, then another 50%  So the Alison Bundle and the classroom were those two. Then I went into the different sections on that page (the big purple page that says 2020 March Madness) and got the same discount.
