@Tramp Graphics, I think that might be the best render I have seen of The Girl, regardless of generation to date! It took my breath away.

@Wonderland, that expression seems to be telling you 'You know you love me, yes you do.' Lovely little guy.

Don't you love the way boxes make the best toys?

Those renders are really nice, love the lighting on both      @melanieL can really see the skin details, you nailed it!  Yeah, agree about the hat band. Looks like something a dog harness would be made of LOL (dogs on the brain. More about that in a minute.)   @TrampGraphics  the lighting catches the folds of the dress beautifully!

Okay, my munchkin Ci Pwff decided to run across the pool. He found that water does NOT hold up under 15 pounds of weight. It was 34 degrees last night and the night before, dare I say that water was cold for both of us when I reached over and pulled a sopping wet puppy out?  This is why people with pools walk their puppies EVERY TIME and even as they grow, and introduce them to the water. (And still watch out the back door.)  Both Geico and Duvee had literally run into the pool, thinking it was a solid surface. Dibbs hasn't.

Asher is Maine Coon or part Maine Coon?  Quite lovely!

Novica, cats and leashes I would have said trin them form Kittens, as about 3 or 4 cats back I had a ginger cat that was trained from about 10 weeks old to a harness and lea,  and Steff and Annie were about 7 months when we first put them on leads.   However  this phot is of Tibby, wh was 18 when we moved up here.   Having always lived in a park  he wasn't used to traffic, went over the wall once, came rushing back and after that seemingly quite happy to submit to the harness and lead in order to be outside and yet safe. First one is himself taking him for a walk, getting used to the lead  and the 2nd ones is him on a long lead  enjoying the sunshine,

Mind you when we still lived at Chohole Gate Lodge he did used to come for walks with the dogs and us, so maybe that was why he caught on so easily to wearing one himself.

That's so cool! I can see why it would be best to start young. My cats would probably just sit down and refuse to budge, chewing on the lead line. I guess opening the back door would motivate them to move forward.  That second picture, the lead looks a lot thinner than the leash, I love the concept of giving them room to do their thing. They're definitely doing it!

  • Wish I had had my phone handy for a picture I had to go to Home Depot today and in the main center aisle there was a gray with black spots kitty just walking down the center of the aisle like she owned the place

Finally dipped my toe into the waters of strand based hair (OK, that's totally the wrong metaphor). This is Vilde for G3F with AprilYSH's Faye Hair and precious little else sunning herself on Maui beach.

I'm really impressed with the strand-based approach: at last I can have a long haired model tip her head back and have her hair drop straight down, instead of being weirdly drawn in to the nape of the neck. The only problem is if I want to buy more strand hair (and I definitely do) there doesn't seem to be any way to pick them out in the Daz store - some of the products labelled "dforce hair" are strand based, most aren't.It would have been really helpful if Daz Marketing had come up with a new term for this type of hair instead of lumping it in with existing dforce hairs.

Heads up, you can get that 70% off Sisi if you go buy a cheapie PC+ item first. It WILL count as a new release the past three days. Do that PC+ as a separate order FIRST. She goes to $2.64 and 87% off.

Was that with the extra 10% for owning a 'Your Key' Item?

I have two out of three of them. Didn't have to put any in the cart, as some people first reported on sales thread.

The only new thing I "purchased" in the last three days was the PC+ freebie. Either that counted or putting it in the cart with one of today's item brought it to $2.20 for me.

Yes, I think he's part Main Coon. He looks just like one but is normal cat size, not super huge like bure bred Maine Coons. Although they say Maine Coons continue growing for 5 years, so we'll see!

That looks amazing! I have that hair but haven't tried that yet. Now I definitely will!

Thanks. And I only used two lights in it, both of the spotlights coming in from above one at +45 degrees, the other at -45 degrees.

Wow, the skin looks awesome. Didn you use anything special for it to look so realistic?

Almost all of my skins look like plastic :(.

Giving a shout out for this outfit- look at all the adjustments Lyoness did!  (See thumbnail in promos)  Scooped it up for $2.20.   Tarian Outfit (G8F)   Just the pants are worth that. (Be sure you don't own the bundle though)

Remember you can use BOTH codes (get $10 and $30 DOs)

For the $10 one, get this for just $1.17 if you want a purse, pen, notebook, and book. Look at all the different options! (Night Out Purse and Accessories)

Nice!!!! I haven't used it yet. (I've been out walking, dodging rain that starts/stops/pours/drizzles. I gave up.)

We have high winds, Bugsy did his business and turned around and marched right back in. No twenty minute stroll tonight.

Thanks for the heads up on that single coupon. I had the purse but was able to find https://www.daz3d.com/free-spirit-hair-morph-pack-one which was at $9.07. So 100% free. Totally score. Pretty nice Daz.

Has the site turned over yet? With a hard refresh, I still am seeing yesterday's page.  It's 3:40 am my time, so running almost four hours late. At one point, all the banners disappeared except fast grab, weeklies, PC club. I think they tried to do banners then took them down. (About 2 hours ago.)

I also cannot get the new day's releases, promos etc, and the MM page still shows yesterday's MarchMadness layout.   I got an ati email at 135am (EST) that told about the Daz O coupons and I went to the site and carted choices but the cart denied the coupons.  I refreshed the homepage to check the deets about the coupon thinking I'd gotten them wrong, and that promo and most of the others were gone, leaving just empty whitespaces in the promo-strip at top.  It's 549 am (in Florida, EST) as I write this, and still no new releases or MM page for today, on any pc, browser I've tried or even on my iphone, so it really seems to be a daz problem rather than on my pc, browser choices, or iphone.

I was not online when it happened but from the messages I read I understood the site has been down for several hours. That is why they offered the coupons for free stuff, as an apology for the site being down on the first day of sales.

I believe they are repeating yesterday's offer for March Madness so the people that didn't get a chance to buy stuff, get a chance now.

On another note, I grabbed some cool stuff with the free coupons.

Here is a render I did with just $4.62 (2x 2.20 items and the rest were grabbed with the free coupons). I didn't use anything else in the scene except those items and a spotlight.

Yep, they confirmed on the sales thread they were going to repeat yesterday. The banners (scrolling) were gone and I believe they were putting those back (for those who hadn't used them, not offering a second round of $10 and $30 freebies of DOs. As someone mentioned though, how are they handling that buying a new item requirement for the past three days to get a discount on that one featured item? We're all losing a day due to it being a repeat. What a mess.

On the plus side, the sales mess is a good way for me to stay focussed with Blender *g*

Mostly random* tutorials at the moment - but aiming towards interior environments - and having a lot of fun doing them. My longer term goal is to make Rivendell from Lord of the Rings in Blender (yes, it's overambitious perhaps...).

@Nath, I am not sure if you ever got a reply in 2017 to your question if the 'Old Chapel' has doors, but I just bought it and yes it does. They do not have an open morph though. I expect someone could figure out how to do it, above my skill level though. Even the outside is textured.

No, everything's pretty much straight out of the box. I love Freya's characters, they all have such great skins. I just wish she didn't always go for the pencilled-on eyebrows look. Still, that's what Brow Remover is for, I guess.
