Oh fun, our shark is back!   I love this tracking. See if any are near you. She was south of Pensacola Beach Saturday 11am. Gorgeous 2,036 pound Great White shark and 15'5" long.  She's traveled 3,000 miles from Nova Scotia in 103 days to come visit us, her name is Unama'ki. On Feb 1st she was closer to Destin but pinged closer to us now. This is SO cool! They are hoping she will lead researchers back to a nursery. That site also tracks dolphins and alligators, check it out, kids will love it too.

Edit-hover over the blue emblems with the sharks and it will give you details about the sharks.

@Hylas, I think the offers on Nida 8, if you're a PC+ member are pretty decent, but I don't see them as being any where near as good as those on Dain 8 and Leroy 8. (Not many in the past several months have been that good.) I do think this offer supports my theory that we (customers) are being retrained to buy Pro bundles without hundreds of dollars worth of free content.

That said, I personally would rather get the Pro bundle at a really good price and not spend a lot of my time trying to find the best combination of products to maximize the dollars-off offers for multiple categories of old content. I can see the appeal, though, for new customers who still have rather sparse runtimes.

@ladair   I think it's perhaps because for once, it's not just another white gal that really isn't much different from all the others. They don't HAVE to entice us to buy her, she brings something really nice to the gene pool without Daz having to dive in to give-aways. Just a guess. :)  And unlike the disaster release of rushed products and no promo shots, this bundle looks like effort was made to get products and promo shots back up to par. (That other pro bundle STILL has lousy descriptions and ONE promo shots. NO effort to fix it.)

LOL....pass the carrots and lettuce. I putzed on that page for a good ten minutes.  Our shark is HUGE compared to the others (females on the tracker are 5 feet to 10 feet, not even 1,000 pds,  our gal is over FIFTEEN FEET and 2,000 pounds!

  • Cool critters sharks Even though I spent 72 hours in a decompression chamber after a Great White chased me to the surface. Friends said all they could see below me as I cleared the transom was mouth and teeth

I agree with you that the offer is not as good as Dain or Leroy but then again it would be hard to match that. I actually think that, following the already very nicely discounted DOs weekend it's actually a pretty bad offer.

the 20% for a gift card from the purple banner is exactly what you could have paid last week since you had 20% discount in your cart for everything.

The 20$ worth of DO's is nice but it means like 5-6$ worth of stuff over the weekend.

The 70$ off a Pro bundle is actually funny as any pro bundle that applies to was cheaper over the weekend.

The discount on Nida bundle is good if you really like her, I'm so and so with her but after how much I've spent lately on other stuff I can't afford her just for her.

The fact that all purple banner offers are also coupons so you can't even stack them makes this for a very poor offer in my mind except for the pro Bundle itself.

As Novica said, I think they are basic this on the quality of the bundle and the variety it brings. I think this is a good bet as I've seen plenty of people happy with her just the way she was offered.

For me, I'll save my money and hope for some good deals on March Madness.

    P.S.

Did you guys notice the lack of flash sales or anything else for the last week? At first I thought it was just last week, being afraid to stack stuff with the 20% in cart and over the weekend with evenmore discounts but the trend continues.

It might really be because they have had enough sales lately, they don't put it the effort for any flash sales, not even the usual 50-60% for different artists.

I heard folk getting the Nida 8 Pro Bundle for less than $26. That's a great deal for a brand new bundle. I've paid close about the same for the Law Enforcement clothing & texture bundle for G3M/G2M. The cheapest I ever got a brand new pro bundle were the Toon Dwayne 8 Pro Bundle for $26 & change including a monthly coupon. I can tell you I didn't get the Girl 8 Pro Bundle or the Edie 8 Pro Bundles when brand new for anything near $26.

Because I recently bought the Mabel 8 Pro Bundle recently on a big sale I finally got a purple banner for a new pro bundle again for the 1st time in over a year I think.

Cute Clothes doesn't even show the hoodie in use! The ruffled part is cute but goodness, if you're going to do a hoodie, show it in action.

Very cute. I don't recognize the PA.

And thanks for the rabbit hole... I think.

I totally agree. It's like there was no good render with the hoodie on so better to keep it off.

I bought Cute Clothes, and just loaded the top, there appears to be no slider to raise the hood. It just hangs there. Which, if you want to use long hair, or hair in pony tails, that makes fitting it easy.

I did two renders with https://www.daz3d.com/myriel-for-teen-raven-8 in https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-cute-clothes-for-genesis-8-females, the boots from https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-camo-chic-outfit-for-genesis-8-females and https://www.daz3d.com/bunny-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females. One to see the back interaction with long dForce hair (I did move the hair up off the hood, but it still settled into the hood a bit after simulation, so the sliders helped to move it back up.) The other was to see the front side. There are various material zones, so you can customize the outfit as well.

Edit to add one more comment: both top and skirt can be used as nice kitbash items.

Well, that might be a first? An outfit with a hood that isn't usable?

I'm excited. Ci Pwff (my Samoyed puppy) is on his way to Pensacola! He left Michigan (17 degrees) on his way to Chicago at 8am my time, got to Chicago  9:20am, left Chicago at 11:25am (about 40 minutes ago) and is currently in the air headed here!  My neighbor is going with me to pick him up at two o'clock!

If there are still Daz O's you want, you can get two really cheap with the $20 off coupon. I thought you had to buy the bundle but you don't. ( the first item is Fast Grab)

Poor little guy,  he'll be jet lagged time he gets to you.  Don't forget to call him by his name properly pronounced  Key Puuff       with the w being pronounce as the ou in Owain Glyndwr,.Glyndour or Glendower  What you have to remember is that W (which is always a vowel in welsh) is pronounced literally as a double u

BTW I forgot to ask you why a Samoyed has got a Welsh name.

Based upon the list of morphs, I agree that it doesn't look like the hood is useable at all. They're only adjustment morphs.

Yep, Key Poof. Because we didn't want a boring English name, he's poofy and puffy, so that works.  We went through 80+ languages for puffy, fluffy, fog, moon, anything light colored, you name it. Key Poof (Poof-Pwff for short) is easy for kids to remember (and seniors) if I do pet therapy with him. And boy does it fit him!  He arrived in immaculate condition. United PetSafe program is amazing. Animals who fly are well taken care of.  FYI  "cargo" is NOT the right term, that is a non-pressurized area compared to the animal section, which is also climate controlled to 70 degrees or so. They took Ci Pwff out of the crate and walked him in Chicago, he had an ice cube in his door water holder, in addition to water in the one next to it, so the slowly melting ice ensured he'd have water. Fresh puppy pads. He was immaculate, didn't pee or poop.

So my neighbor helped me as I wasn't sure how I was getting a 30+ pound dog/crate that was bulky to my car, so she drove. It also meant I could get great videos. We immediately drove about a minute around the curve to the Delta cargo area, which is where I had my Lennies flown in from Arizona seven years ago. I knew there were large grassy areas. Ci Pwff had a blast scampering around after he peed. SUCH a sweet boy, and he's so soft the strands are like wispy velvet.

I've got a Face Book page that I will post to either today or tomorrow. (He has his own.)

    Ci Pwff!

From 17 degrees in Michigan to a balmy 73 degrees in Pensacola. He's thinking, "Who IS this thing kissing me?"  He looks horrified LOL. (He'll get used to it!)

Aw thanks!  And it wasn't pouring down rain, thank goodness. We lucked out because there were major rain cells going along the Gulf Of Mexico, which stayed offshore.

Ci Pwff is now confidently going up to the gate and exchanging nose pokes with Duvee, Dibbs, and Geico. Geez, four dogs. I'm nuts, and loving every minute of it.

4 dogs, 4 cats (Purina is very old so don't think he'll make another year), 6 birds, 1 horse. And keeping my son's two Blue-Tongue Skinks. So I have 15 pets. Plus Shadow the cat outside, going on 6 years.
