    Bugsy has two forms. One just after he has been shaved for the summer, which I call his 'Elf Dog' mode, then his 'Winter Frost Demon' mode, and then there is the dog that is at heart a 'trucker's dog' and had to retire because of arthritis. When I drove back to California last summer, he rode as shotgun and met my family. And keeping my 6 year old granddaughter from trying to pet, hug, cuddle and kiss him was an ongoing thrill for her father and me. He took up guard duty around their pool when she went into to play. (He hates water.) Now snow, loves that, but ice or non-dog friendly stuff on sidewalks on paws he is not happy with. So three pictures of Bugsy. and of course they all loaded sideways!

    Another gorgeous Samoyed. Awesome. :)

  • Unfortunately, our 8 yr old "puppy" had to be put down last week- he was a beautiful German Shephard with more personality than most people we knew.

    @firewarden, actually Mr. Bugs, Bugsy, the Bugs, is an American Eskimo. So related, but not quite there. And is terrified of many dogs. He was abused for six years before rescued and went to ride on big rigs. Never socialized but for the past few years he has been with me, I have have been working with him, so have some of the smaller, gentler dogs around my complex. He even was able to play in the dog park with a Schnauzer puppy a few days ago. No blood was shed. But I have to warn all families and strangers to not try to pet him.

    @DarwinsMishap, he is lovely and will live in your hearts.

    Mary

    @DarwinsMishap
    Very sorry for your loss!

    @memcneil70
    I hadn't realized there was another breed that looked so close to the Samoyed. So cool that you have given him a new life. :)

    @Robert Freise
    Looks like your cat is an innovator. And probably plotting world domination. ;) And your pup looks incredibly comfortable. Gotta love these guys!

    He is very like the bigger of my 2 cats   Steffi    The smaller one laying down is Annie.   They were only 7 months old when the photo was taken.  I haven't got a more modern one as the camera died  and I haven't replaced it yet.

    @darwinsmishap   He looks so content!  I'm sorry about the loss of your friend, German Shepherds have a very high intelligence and I'm sure his interactions with you were amazing. What was his name?
    I've had two German Shepherds, they are amazing dogs and each one is so unique.

    @robertfriese   Geez, feed Emerald. So apparent she rarely gets food..... (LOL that is one solid doggie!)  and Mr. Whitepaws is smart. There's more room up there.
    @chohole And did Mr. Whitepaws and Steffi get introduced somehow- cause Annie looks like she's related to both!  How old are they now Chohole?

    Steffi and Annie are sisters, desp[ite the difference in their sizes.   They are going to 8 in the summer.  Still act as kittens a lot of the time.  They are permanent indoor cats,  only go out on leads,  and not often because now I am on my own it iis difficult to control 2 cats who bot want to go different wasy at different speeds.

    How on earth did you get the cats leash trained? That's awesome! I've seen pictures of cats on leashes but always wondered how you get them used to the idea.

    Catching up with the fur and feather friends of the thread pictures! I just want to reach out and hug all.

    Even though my family had Boxers when I was tine, my earliest memory of a dog, was my grandmother's German Shephard who lived across the street from us. Wonderful dog and so patient with a mob of small kids. Later we had mutts.

    These are my fur babies Harley (dog), Skittles (white cat-trouble), Pete (gray cat). Jazz in the separate picture because I did not have any with the others this was his "give me a bite" face for when I ate watermelon.  He got so bad that I had to go in another room or he would be in my plate.  I had to put him to sleep last December for liver failure, he was my baby. I found him outside crying no bigger than a pea barely old enough to eat food, no Momma cat to be found.  All three cats were rescues.

    @daventaki   Oh Harley and Pete are so funny! Was that a coming, going, or just crashing pose? Pete is so "Meh." about the entire thing.  Sorry to hear about Jazz, when you don't have them with you, a year seems to fly by and it's startling sometimes to think it has been that long.

    @Novica that was a trying to wiggle my way on the stool inconspicuously pose lol. In the second picture below Pete is like Hey, I was here first. Even though Harley is 10 times there size he still is the push over lol.

    Thank you, everyone.

    His name was Nikko. Smart cookie- but at the same time a bit thickheaded.  XD  He used to try to jump up and gater squirrels in trees.  The other one before him used to run the gamut of the yard, jumping and snapping at every plane that went overhead.  He swore he could get'em.

    For a minute I thought you were describing a new character you sculpted for the store, until I realized you were talking about your dog!

    Oh that face! Luminous eyes. She's lucky to have you, and you, her!  And what a doggie bed. Spoiled rotten!

    At the moment (midnight) I'm trying to work quietly so Ci Pwff won't bark and whine. My husband has to get up at 5am for a flight out to Las Vegas (lol work, not play.) So I have all the lights out except the one on my computer table. Ci Pwff has quieted down for now, but I put an air purifier (the large ones) in the bedroom to make white noise, and another one out in the hall!

    I don't know how long they've been in there, but you can grab the wonderful cello, trombone, and saxophone (all three for $16.77, $5.69 each.) in Fast Grab

    Loving the pooch pics!

    I had my first go with Nida 8 today - I like the character a lot (I toned down the translucency a bit to suit the simple lighting I used). This is with Vilma Hair and the Sunday Best Outfit. I like the hair itself, but I'm not mad about the texture for the hat part (the band looks positively odd) so I redid it with fabric shaders.

    ETA: Actually looking at the promos, it seems that the alternative materials sets may be fine, it's just that it initially loads with a rather flat knitted pattern. I'd not realised those alternative mats werre there blush

    Ci Pwff!

    From 17 degrees in Michigan to a balmy 73 degrees in Pensacola. He's thinking, "Who IS this thing kissing me?"  He looks horrified LOL. (He'll get used to it!)

    Love this photo! Looks like something you'd see in a magazine article about dogs.

    This is my Asher. Yesterday was his 1 year anniversary since I rescued him from a high kill shelter. He was really sick and malnourished and took a while to get to normal but now he's the sweetest most cuddly snuggly purry cat I've met! He doesn't poop in his litter box for some reason but he's so sweet, I can't even raise my voice to him or punish him, so I've just gotten used to picking it up.

    This is from when I was packing to move. I guess he wanted to make sure he was going too lol.
