its pretty big I think about 4GB but trying to find folders

well I reckon 4 to DL but this is my folder size and then there is all the other Epic stuff and my saved projects, this might include the data from those

now I need to create and dress DAZ versions of these Twinmotion folk so I can do stories with the characters

I cannot export anything but images so it will be painful sorting through my extensive DAZ wardrobes and hairs and similar faces

I don't obviously need to do all of them, just pick a few main characters that will talk and be close up detailed

    Stonemason's warehouse in Twinmotion

looks like something from 15 years ago, you need this https://blenderartists.org/t/free-normalmap-generator/642602

you can find the texture folder, and create new normal/specular/displacement maps etc, using the free tool in the blender forums and modernise the scene

Or I can render it PBR in the Octane 4 plugin using the diffuse in the bump channels devil with actual DAZ people following paths in Carrara!

are lots of ways one could do a better job with a lot of work yes

this was quick and fun took minutes

most DAZ users not interested in Twinmotion likely for your reasons

they want to spend hours on an image

those people can export the scene, open it in sketchup and use https://enscape3d.com/ which will probably be cheaper then twinmotion

    Twinmotion is still free

it will probably remain that way after november,

people pay big money to download 4k textures, spend hours with the clone brush making the texture a bi-directional tile. and won't want to spend big money on a engine that make's your render look like a cartoon with no detail.

I must be the only DAZ content user on this forum interested in rendering in this free software!!!!

anyway I found the people in it are Adobe Fuse characters, my DAZ characters can only be posed statues in it but I am trying to find ways to mix my renders with other software

iclone and Carrara can import the Mixamo rigged animated Adobe figures as can Poser11pro

Could it be possible to import Daz characters and animation with Alembic? There is an Alembic exporter in the Daz store.

But, when I go to the Twinmotion forum and I make a reseach with the word "alembic", it seems that some people are using Alembic...
