Anyone can confirm how much space needed for DL or installing Twin motion ?
its pretty big I think about 4GB but trying to find folders
well I reckon 4 to DL but this is my folder size and then there is all the other Epic stuff and my saved projects, this might include the data from those
Thanks for information
a creepy movie
Byodo-In
now I need to create and dress DAZ versions of these Twinmotion folk so I can do stories with the characters
I cannot export anything but images so it will be painful sorting through my extensive DAZ wardrobes and hairs and similar faces
I don't obviously need to do all of them, just pick a few main characters that will talk and be close up detailed
videos deleted

looks like something from 15 years ago, you need this https://blenderartists.org/t/free-normalmap-generator/642602
It is one of SM's older sets but that rendered in minutes with those people and cars that follow paths
you can find the texture folder, and create new normal/specular/displacement maps etc, using the free tool in the blender forums and modernise the scene
Or I can render it PBR in the Octane 4 plugin using the diffuse in the bump channels with actual DAZ people following paths in Carrara!
are lots of ways one could do a better job with a lot of work
this was quick and fun took minutes
most DAZ users not interested in Twinmotion likely for your reasons
they want to spend hours on an image
those people can export the scene, open it in sketchup and use https://enscape3d.com/ which will probably be cheaper then twinmotion
Twinmotion is still free
it will probably remain that way after november,
people pay big money to download 4k textures, spend hours with the clone brush making the texture a bi-directional tile. and won't want to spend big money on a engine that make's your render look like a cartoon with no detail.
more DAZ versions of Twinmotion people in Carrara and iClone
as well as their Twinmotion inspirations and the Neighbours yards
BTW there is only a tiny bit of Twinmotion in this
I captured the LowPoly look with my Genesis characters
the Twinmotion only one
OK here is a video by a pro user using Stonemasons Green room
dead wizard
I can use Billboards
more billboards of DAZ (and a couple other) people in Twinmotion
with a Dante78 Fisherman's hut
Petipets cool house
I also cooked a BIMmotion exe I captured with Shadowplay
wish I had a VR headset
just showing the BIMmotion navigation options
the cars with people driving them that follow terrains on paths are nice
Could it be possible to import Daz characters and animation with Alembic? There is an Alembic exporter in the Daz store.
well not this version
who knows what they will add to the paid one
But, when I go to the Twinmotion forum and I make a reseach with the word "alembic", it seems that some people are using Alembic...
