I can't imagine how big this is going to be! lol Great work Casual!
substantial rebuild of the roof/attic
and the sistraydes of the castle
stray balcony sighting at the main door ...go figure
Are you using Blender to build this model? It's great. The balcony made me laugh! lol
It's look absolutely fabulous, stray balcony and all!!
the stray balcony strut away it seems
nearing completion
big ( hardware render ) fly-though fly-around the (upcoming) castle this way please

Awesome video. This model has an incredible amount of detail inside and out. You have done a fabulous amount of work and are extremely generous to be giving it to us for free. Thank you for all your hard work (stray balconies and all)!
Really great work there Casual. Now for one question... do the doors open?
all of them will, it will be a prop
one issue is that each door/window comes with its own surface-material, and this will clutter Daz Studio surfaces tab a bit
but but, maybe i'll make it be a figure ... which would make it 1 material set for all the doors
or do clever morph tricks ... or make versions or something
-------------
here you can see the new doorsier ( or more door-alike) doors for the main entrances
I'm getting excited here, and can't wait to see this done, because it's looking awesome.
Looks really good!!
This is simply amazing. Thanks for all the detail and hard work.
thanks and welcome !
the hope is for a weekend release
i may add ( replacable ) staiirs inside

well . . . following a vague request i will include an optional staircase prop
and the castle wont be ready today
... i guess before Wednesday is the new ETA
-----------------
the stairs prop sjown below is 7K,
most of it is in the "real" wrought iron elements
----
by "real i mean it's not a transparency/cutout , each twirly element is a 3-sided ribbon, so it looks good from any camera angle
Nice. It helps to polish the inside nicely unless of course we are supposed to levitate to the next floor! lmao Are there elevators in the castle?
Ohh and I have think, it was the new X-Men head quarter.
i t seems to
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKz4gdPRydw
making realistic stairs would be too polygonally expensive
but i will try to make mine a bit better
WOW, that really reveals the stairs nicely and shows that the wall decor might have to be moved up a bit more from the above screen shots
how cute is that!?
That looks fantastic Casual!
Blender Cycles render ( sad that indoor renders are soooooo slow )
so we're nearing the end of modeling and the packaging phase !
BRAVO! Render looks awesome!
Is it possible to have info about Chateau de Sceaux? Is it available some where?
Thanks,
dbb
That interior render looks AWESOME!!! I really like the stairs, and the wall covering is perfect.
Wow this has really come a long way since I first posted. Great job so far.
when it will be ready, it will be downloadable for free on my web site
i will post the link in this forum thread
in the first post of the forum thread also
my web site is here ---> https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts3
it's full of wonders :)
the scale of the stairs and ramp seem ok
plus a Daz Studio 3Delight software render for a change
( someday ... someday i'll make the much needed thigh-top-de-flatenizer morph or script for Aiko )
a Louis XV'ish table for the castle which is Louis Xiii'ish
maybe i'll make the legs less skinny
i'll post it this evening ! ... the table iprop mean
for the castle i have to make sure all the materials have a usable UV map
and finalize the staircase prop
Very nice Casual! :-)
