I made this in the first place for the current New User Contest, before I realized that it's not really enough of a portrait to qualify. Still, I wanted to share with you; it seemed a shame to just move it to the "Done" folder :)

    I second this. You have produced some wonderful renders for the New User's Contests. It would be nice to have them all in one place.

    Thanks all! The Nanosuit is a pleasure to work with, it looks good whatever you put it through :)

    Wow that is nice. The light rays really help frame the scene and the gleam from the suit and the sword are spot on. Good emotion on the face also!

    I really like the outlining glow along the spheres- nice contrast with their darkness. Really make their presence pop. That glint of light between them is very clever. I also really like the vibrancy of your color scheme and the wispiness of the trailing lights in the background. Very nicely done!

    That is a wonderfully framed shot. Really nice work.

    She reminds me of Karai, my favorite character from Ninja Turtles.

    I guess I should ask someone to rename this thread, probably to something like "Tobias' renders". Not sure who to ask, though.

    As the OP you can change the name yourself. You just need to edit the original post (the one with your sad ninja).

    I like the way the brown of the sky makes the gray of the smoke trail stand out. Way cool. :)

    @Spyro: Exactly. It's actually for a upcoming RPG campaign I'm preparing at the moment, and he's going to be the players' patron. At first... ;)

    The only rules on posting is in contests for the contests. You can post your renders to as many places as you like as far as I know. And I think I should know. LOL.
    I often cross post and I've even sort of spammed images in many threads before. But I try to not over do it, just places I know others might never see it if I don't post to that thread. Some folks stick to just a few threads on the forums. Some like me are all over the place.
